Favourite Console

Which of these is your favourite console and why? Mine is currently the DS for it's innovativeness and the fact that it'll have Pokemon Diamond & Pearl eventually.

PS2... because that's all I have. I'm not complaining, though. Some of my favorite games of all time are on PS2.

In terms of pound for pound fun factor, SNES takes the cake, but that's not on here. Ah, SNES... good times.

At the moment it's the X-Box, because that's the only console I play at the moment.

I'd say probaly X-box. I finally got one last Christmas, and since then that's what I've played most. I only hook up my PS2 now on rare occasions if I want to play Basketball (don't have one for Xbox) or possibly Smackdown. Or if I want to play something online. But I've come to love the look and style of Xbox games, the graphics are great. Even though yea, that goes for pretty much all next gen games..and I also like some of the exclusive games like KOTOR, Fable, Halo (Not so much) etc.

Edit- Yea, I'm also loving the look of GTA on the Xbox better. (I had never played the other II on Xbox.) Just the sort of shiny, smooth look of the cars is great, although at times they smack things like bricks. But whatever. Although the controls are weird to get use to, i'm loving GTA for the Xbox.

Currently the XBox.

Mainly because of Brothers In Arms, Top Spin, PES4 and GTA: San Andreas.

BIA, GTA and PES are way better on XBox than PS2.

PS2. Much better game choice. However if it was a poll on your favourite system and not a console, I'd go with the PC - it's pretty much all I've been using this past month or two when it comes down to gaming.

I've played almost all the systems and my faves are PS2 , Snes , N64 . I like the ps2 because of the bigger game library and because its backwards compatible

XBOX is my favourite on that list.

Dreamcast would be my #1 all-time favourite just because of it's amount of quality games, SNES would be #2 for the same reason and XBOX would be #3
