Help Biggz Decide

I sent my ps2 away, and the USPS lost it, but I had 200 worth of insurance on it.... so, I'll be getting a check, and I plan on buying a new game system.. I just need help on which one and why.

List games, reason why it's better, etc...

or anything else you think it would be better for me to spend it on.

PS2. In one year and half I bought 21 games, and only 2 different years of a sports game (Thunder). It's the best there is right now.

Save the money for the next generation of consoles, but if you can't wait I would go with the PS2 unless they started to charge for online gaming like X-box.

Go ahead and re-buy the Playstation 2, and forget about the X-Box. You'll thank ME later. With so much interesting stuff coming out, the PS2 is the best system to buy, what with the Smackdown! series and Grand Theft Auto series being big up points for me.

like that will get me to buy, I dropped 50 on HCTP and the one before it... both were wastes. I have GTA, the origanal is better, which I have that and the london one too.

I think I may try and save for PSX or something nextgen, not sure yet though. X-Box has me thinking because of Ninja Gaiden.

If you've already got a load of PS2 games that you like to play it's best to just replace your PS2.

Otherwise save the money for something else and don't buy a games console that will be out of date in a couple of years (if that).

The only catch about waiting with a system is that Nintendo and Microsoft likely won't hit with a new home console for two years. Sony's in no rush, since they're comfortably in the lead, so it may be another two-and-a-half to three years before we see a new true Playstation.

i would say get an Xbox. I had both Xbox and PS2, and i tended to play Xbox a lot more. If you like action games and good sports games then its the right choice.

Get a Sega and you can buy like 6000 Second hand games for it. Old school > Posh new consoles
