So I watched the G-Phoria award show and to quote X-Play's resident extremist, it was lame TO THE MAX!

Seriously, it didn't even get bearable until the Icons-like Legend Award profile of Ralph Baer. The performances were decent, and weren't dubbed up in lameness like the awards were. The amount of lame skits on the show could easily make Spike TV's Awards look like a professional classy show. Even my mark out of Tommy Chong was ruined by an awful Burnout parody skit.

And for that I say, FUCK YOU G4.

And it's not solely for no RE4 wins this time.

Well it was a fucking video game awards show. I for one thought the Burnout parody part was pretty funny/creative. And it made more since then the guy just appearing for...no reason at all, I guess cuz he's friends with Wilmer or something.
