Okay, I got a message saying Argentina have offered me the job as national coach, but there's no button to accept it or anything, just the usual "Apply for job" button. Is that what I do, or is there something I'm missing?

The accept button will be in the message that says they're offering you the job. Mind you, if you've pushed continue since then, you may have missed your chance.

Should be a button in the message. One says "Accept job" the other says "Reject job". They should be in the same place as the buttons that allow you to choose whether to send a player to your physio or a specialist, for example.

If you have continued since the offer, the deadline for your decision may have passed so the best you can do is apply and hope they reconsider you.

It should be a "View Offer" button shouldn't it?

I had that problem with a game once. People we're offering me jobs but there was no accept button. So I had to start a new one which was quite annoying.

Finished my first season in my new game, with ALL LEAGUES ON. I'm not sure if it's because I'm part-time at Cefn Druids or what, but it takes 15-25 minutes to process each turn. And a turn on part-time is a week I think.

The only leagues I can manage in are the British island ones. The rest are all set to basic, but it means teams act like teams and battle for promotion/relegation/competitions and there's a very wide variety of people from all over. I'd post who won everything but that would take forever.

I was 3rd place in the Welsh league with my awesome free tranfers and youth players, but lost the final game of the season and finished 5th, so no Intertoto Cup place. Cefn Druids were predicted as relegation battlers, so they were delighted anyways. But then I won the FAW Welsh Cup(!) and ended up with a UEFA Cup placement! And guess who I got...

Everton. Possibly the best team in the entire first round (there was a WHOLE lot of them from shitty nations). We were also the last teams drawn, I was seriously pissed off. Quarter finalists in the Champions League last season. To put it nicely, I'm absolutely fucked. And the first leg is at Goodison. I wanted to get as far as possible but it looks like I'll just have to hope we gets tons of cash from the game to get us out of debt. And at very best, hope Everton play all of their worst players and we somehow snatch an away win. Then defend like our lives and wives depend on it.

But seriously...David Moyes...vs me. In my second season, starting from unemployed. What an honour.

Oh yeah, the World Cup Final is Brazil vs Holland. Brazil were the only team to reach the knockout stage who weren't from Europe. And that's only because England failed to qualify from Brazil's group. I think Serbia & Montenegro beat them out through goals scored against them. I didn't understand it either.

Season 2 - Initiate. Match #1. Cefn Druids vs Everton.

What a pile of shite this is! My Arsenal side, pretty damn good, but Henry is out. Top of our table in the CL till the last two games, beat in both 2-0 first by Dinamo Kiev, second to Monaco, that spells our run in the CL. Our entire table drew on points, we were put out by a goal. =[ At least we're still in the Uefa Cup.

Anyone know of any good, young central defenders that would be easy to tempt to Wigan and would be able to slot straight into the team? My only good centre backs are 31, 33 and 35 - and if I get an injury to one of them I'm boned.

If you're near the start of the game, go for Anthony Vanden Borre from Anderlect. Should coust around 1-1.5m and can play as DRC and is good enough to go straight into your team and will be a huge star in the future....
