MAJOR NEWS: JEFF JARRETT REGAINS NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FROM RAVEN IN CANADA ON THURSDAY NIGHT!

America’s Most Wanted shocks the fans by helping Jarrett win the gold

(Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada) – The self-proclaimed “King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett regained the NWA World Heavyweight Title on Thursday night in Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada, defeating Raven with the help of America’s Most Wanted.

In a shocking turn of events, “Wildcat” Chris Harris and “Cowboy” James Storm turned their backs on the fans and aligned themselves with Jarrett, ultimately costing Raven the bout and the World Title.

The NWA World Heavyweight Title match took place under the banner of Border City Wrestling out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Following the bout, NWA Championship Committee member Larry Zbyszko was in contact with the promoters of the show, and Zbyszko has informed TNAwrestling.com the title change is indeed official.

Thanks to America’s Most Wanted, Jeff Jarrett has fulfilled his proclamation of being NWA World Heavyweight Champion with the debut of “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV on October 1.

“I told Raven…I told EVERYONE that for the good of TNA Wrestling, I needed to be NWA World Heavyweight Champion when we hit SpikeTV!” Jarrett told TNAwrestling.com via phone after the bout. “I knew TNA management was trying to keep me down, so I had to get that title back on MY terms in Canada where they couldn’t stop me! Chris Harris and James Storm were the only ones out of that entire locker room who had the brains to listen to me. They made the right choice! Now roll out the red carpet, because YOUR champion - The King Of The Mountain - and America’s Most Wanted – the cornerstones of TNA - are coming to SpikeTV, and there’s nothing TNA management can do to stop us!”

“Jarrett was right all along – it was time for America’s Most Wanted to finally look after OUR best interests for a change,” Chris Harris told TNAwrestling.com. “We built this company from the ground up and we’ll be damned if anyone was going to take our spot – the spot we RIGHTFULLY own. Who was looking out for us? The fans? TNA management? Raven? No – Jeff Jarrett was looking out for us. And guess what? Now we’ve got his back, and now WE call all the shots.”

James Storm added: “By the way…hey Naturals, shine up the tag team titles – it’s only a matter of time now before they’re coming home, one way or another. Sorry ‘bout your damn luck…”

Raven left the arena immediately following the bout and refused to comment on the situation.

TNAwrestling.com will have a further update on Friday afternoon following the events that unfolded on Thursday night in Ontario with the crowning of new NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett!

USA Xtreme Wrestling

What good things can you say about a company that Paul Heyman has used to scare OVW workers? Nothing. Which is why there won't be much description about UXW. UXW is owned by Frank Goodman and was previously named USA Pro Wrestling. I suppose Frankie didn't think this was hip enough for the kids so he threw an Xtreme in there. Xtreme TV runs every Saturday on a local New York channel in the Late Night slot. How Frank managed to talk them into putting this shit into anything else but the Graveyard slot is beyond me.

WWE Smackdown!

WWE Smackdown! used to be something really special. It was started off as a one off special back in 1999. People scoffed at the idea of another wrestling show since that was considered to be overexposure. Instead it took off and it became a weekly show shortly thereafter. While it was taped as opposed to being live, this allowed for any sort of polishing that would be needed and thus would make up for the lack of a live atmosphere.

Smackdown's future took a huge turn when the brand extension kicked things off shortly after Wrestlemania 18. Controlled by Vince McMahon it was considered to be at least on the same level as WWE RAW. Smackdown changed bookers and owners throughout this period but always remained on par with RAW. At the end of 2002, many fans thought that Smackdown was in fact the superior show in part due to the "Smackdown Six."

Things took a huge turn in the past 6 months though. The show became stagnant as Smackdown was being raped of its talent. RAW was slowly becoming the "A" show and suddenly, the production values on Smackdown started to decrease. The same fans who were lauding Smackdown were now turning their backs on the product. The wrestling was non-existant and the storylines were awful. The draft lottery brought some hope to Smackdown as they gained Chris Benoit and the World Heavyweight Champion Batista, but they also lost two of their hottest up and coming stars in the WWE Champion John Cena and Carlito. Christian also came over to Smackdown in the hopes of receiving a push, instead his push came to a halt as he went from main eventing a pay-per-view, to not even having a match the next month. Smackdown gained a marketable character in Mohammad Hassan and his manager Daivari. However, the network turned their backs on Hassan and the most controversial and intriguing character to hit WWE airwaves was forced to be eliminated from TV.

Smackdown took a final blow in that UPN decided not to air their highest rated program on Thursday's anymore. The show was moved to Friday nights, considered to be TV's death slot. The show changed their name to "Friday Night Smackdown" to reflect the change. The first show on Friday night was packed with pay-per-view quality matches. However, due to unforseen circumstances with Hurricane Katrina coverage pre-empting the first hour of the new show. Even worse was that the ratings for the show were far below average.

Smackdown's pay-per-view attempt was Summerslam. This pay-per-view was highly regarded as surpassing expectations but in all honesty, this was a RAW show and not a Smackdown! show. The previous attempt was the Great American Bash which was criticized by many fans as being far below average. Smackdown's newest pay-per-view attempt will be on October 9th.

Will WWE Smackdown! be able to survive? Or will they continue their tailspin into oblivion?

WLW TV September 24th 2005

Kyle Mason and Johnny Gold are your announce team

The show opens up with a shot of a packed Eldon Community Center. It looks to be filled to near capacity with almost 100 fans in attendance. The announcers are nowhere to be seen so it can be assumed this is being voiced over at a later date.

Mason: Hello wrestling fans Kyle Mason here with you again for another rousing edition of WLW TV. Last week we saw a few great matches from our last event at the Eldon Community Center. We are continuing that this week with two huge matches!

Gold: Introduce me Mason!

Mason: (sighs) Yes indeed I am stuck once again with the stuck up rich tycoon Johnny Gold.

Gold: Ha Ha! That’s right Mason. Johnny Gold has graced you with his presence once again.

Mason: Right… You certainly seem excited this week Johnny.

Gold: Another successful hostile takeover Mason. That and the fact that The Gold Exchange is readying for a takeover here at WLW. The fact is Superstar Steve is dominating over in Japan, but he will be back soon. And when he comes back Steve will be destroying Wade Chism for good!

Mason: We shall see Johnny. Wildman Wade is on quite a roll lately. He faces War Cloud here tonight for the WLW Title. But first of all take a look at this!

Jason Bates is a Street Fightin Man

A muscular man with long blonde hair and ripped jeans is seen walking down an alley and comes upon a woman getting mugged by two stereotypical thugs.

Bates: HEY! Get away from her!

The two thugs turn to face him and the woman runs off screaming.

Thug 1: You want some punk?

Bates: Bring it scum!

The two thugs move in and one of them has a bat while the other brandishes a knife. They circle the man and then the one with the bat moves in. He swings, but Bates grabs the bat and rips it out of the guy’s hand. Bates swings backwards and connects with the jaw of the thug with the knife. The thug flies backwards into a pile of garbage. The first thug takes a swing and connects with Bates. Bates just smiles at him and then connects with a huge uppercut. That thug goes down and the camera zooms in on the face of Bates.

Bates: I am The Streetfighter Jason Bates! You think you can take me? Why don’t you just step up!

The video fades with Bates looking at the camera ready for another fight.

Rating: 31%

A matter of respect

The show switches to a back room somewhere. Josh Besore and Mark Godecker stand in front of a plain white wall and are dressed in their wrestling gear.

Godecker: They said it could never happen. They said you two boys been through too much to ever team up. Yet here we stand. Marc Godecker and Josh Besore are together as one for a common goal. Tonight we will win those tag team titles!

Besore: We lit up WLW with our feud, but the fact is that’s behind us. We couldn’t have come together now if we hadn’t tested each other first. That spells trouble for you Coalition. You two boys think you can just walk on in to Eldon and take the tag team titles? Well we got something to say about that.

Godecker: Mc Quinn! Travis! We respect each other and the fact that we can go in the ring. Unlike you two snakes who like to cheat to win we do this for those fans. Eldon Community Center get ready! We are about to set the world on fire.

They high five and the video ends.

Rating: 38%

Mason: There you have it Johnny Gold. Besore and Godecker are ready for their tag team title bout and ready to be one of the best teams in WLW!

Gold: I don’t think so Kyle. These two kids will never be a big team here. You can’t battle someone for so long and then just decide to be their best good friend. It won’t happen.

Mason: We’ll see up next Johnny. But first…Do you need to run a fundraiser for your church group, school, or civic organization? Well World League Wrestling is just the ticket for you. We’ve run successful events recently for The Eldon Athletic Booster Club, Oak Park High School, and the United Way in Boonville. All these events were great money makers and everyone had a grand old time. Email us at wlwbooking@harleyrace.com if you would like a wrestling event in your town.

Gold: Trust me everyone. The Gold Exchange is worth the price of admission alone!

Mason: Ha! Don’t worry folks we keep Johnny Gold on a tight leash. We’ll be right back with our tag team title showdown!

Josh Besore and Marc Godecker vs. The Coalition: WLW Tag Team Titles

We come back from commercial with both teams already in the ring. Derrick McQuinn is starting the match against Josh Besore. They lock up and McQuinn quickly grabs a headlock.

McQuinn: Oh yeah! I got this guy!

The crowd boos.

McQuinn: Shut up you losers!

Besore escapes the headlock and takes his opponent over with a hip toss! McQuinn sells it like death and backs into his corner looking bewildered as Besore gets the crowd behind him. Travis comforts his partner and he looks ready for another lockup. They lock up again and Besore hits another hip toss! McQuinn pounds the mat angrily and just generally throws a fit as the crowd eats it up.

Mason: Josh Besore is in fine form here Johnny Gold. He is showing a lot of poise for a man so young.

Gold: Showing me a lot of cheating Kyle. Did you see him pull Derrick McQuinn’s tights?

Mason: What?!? Josh Besore is no cheater Johnny! You take that back.

The match continues for the next couple minutes with McQuinn trying to get the upper hand, but looking foolish at the hands of Besore. The heels finally get the advantage when Godecker tags in and T-Money catches him with a knee to the back when he tries to bounce off the ropes. Money tags in and goes to work with some kicks and stomps. He picks Godecker up and slams him back to the mat with a scoop slam. Money does a little hip hop dance and then connects with a leg drop. Cover 1…2…KICKOUT! Money drops an elbow and then covers again which nets him another two count. Money brings him up off the mat and hooks Godecker in position for a vertical suplex. He suplexes Godecker down to the mat and then points to the corner. He jives around and dances towards the turnbuckles. He climbs to the top just as Godecker stumbles to his feet. T-Money comes off with a double axe handle, but is met with a DROP KICK! The crowd begins clapping as Godecker crawls towards the corner.

Mason: Come on Marc! Make the tag!

Godecker inches towards the corner, but McQuinn charges across the ring and knocks Besore to the floor with a forearm!

Gold: Ha Ha! Now that is smart Mason. The Coalition is a well oiled machine. Kind of like The Gold Exchange and all my other corporate holdings.

Mason: If you mean dirty and underhanded then I agree with you for sure Gold. Come on Marc!

McQuinn pulls Godecker back to the middle of the ring as T-Money makes it to his feet. The ref orders McQuinn back to his corner, but he is quickly tagged in and goes to work on Godecker concentrating on punishing his ribcage. He drops a series of knees and then bounces off the ropes and executes a decent senton before laying across Godecker for the cover 1…2…REVERSAL BY GODECEKER! 1…2…KICKOUT! Both men make it back to their feet and McQuinn goes for a clothesline. Godecker ducks and gets caught with a SPINNING HEEL KICK! McQuinn is down and Godecker drops to his knees. The fans cheer him on and he leaps forward and MAKES THE TAG!

Mason: Here we go baby!

Besore jumps over the ropes and looks ready for anything. T-Money charges in and Besore takes him down with a flying head scissors. Besore turns around and McQuinn goes for the SPEAR! LEAPFROG BY BESORE! McQuinn turns back around right into a SUPERKICK! Cover 1…2…3!

Rating: 50/32/69

Mason: They did it! Johnny Gold we have new tag team champions! And they are none other than Josh Besore and Marc Godecker! What do you have to say now?

Gold: They may have gotten away with a victory tonight, but like everyone in this company they will fall to The Gold Exchange!

Mason: Would you quit it Johnny? Your boys are away in Japan. They won’t even be back for our next show on September 30th in Sedalia at the Convention Hall. Doors open at six and tickets are ten dollars. Funds benefit the Pettis County Crime stoppers. There will be an appearance by Wrestling Legend Terry Funk along with a few more surprises. Ticket are available at Bing’s, Price Chopper and all the usual ticket outlets.

Gold: And don’t forget that there will be cameras there taping for future episodes of WLW TV Kyle. Oh and who told you The Gold Exchange wouldn’t be there?

Mason: Are you saying they will be there Gold?!?

Gold: I’m saying the fans should make that drive to Sedalia. Johnny Gold guarantees you that it will be well worth your money.

Mason: There you have it folks. Sedalia is officially a can’t miss show! We’ll be right back with Johnny Gold’s interview with Wild Wade and then our main event.

Gold: Let’s just skip that Mason.

Mason: Oh no Johnny Gold we are showing it! When we come back.

The Gold Standard: Tonight’s Guest Wild Wade Chism

We come back on the air in a room with a gold back drop and a desk and two chairs all painted gold. Behind the desk is a large bald man in a tacky gold suit.

Gold: Hello everyone and welcome once again to The Gold Standard. I got a merger to get to so I am going to keep this one short. I would rather not be talking to this guy at all, but I might as well give him a few seconds of that glorious fame before we take his title. So here he is… WIMPY WADE CHISM!

Wade walks in and stares at Johnny Gold. There is an awkward silence for the next few seconds before Gold motions for him to take a seat and Chism does so.

Gold: So Wimpy how do you feel about getting lucky and being the WLW Champion?

Chism: We..

Gold: Yeah that’s what I thought. You don’t know what to say. You are just like all these other country bums. And let me tell you something Wade. My Gold Exchange will be back soon and if War Cloud doesn’t beat you here tonight then Superstar Steve or one of my many other finds will. Your time is short my friend. What have you got to say about that?

Wade stands up and makes a move towards Gold. Johnny leaps up and runs directly into the gold backdrop which collapses on him.

Chism: I say bring it on.

Wade turns and walks off the set.

Rating: 52%

Mason: Ha! Smooth move Johnny Gold! Real classy.

Gold: He’ll pay for that Mason trust me on that one.

Mason: The Wild one can take care of himself I’m sure of that. Let’s get to the ring for our main event.

War Cloud vs. Wild Wade Chism (Champion) WLW Title

Both men are already in the ring with War Cloud wearing the typical Native American wrestler outfit and Chism in generic black boots and trunks. Chism does some clapping to fire up the crowd and we are underway. War Cloud attacks with a series of chops and knocks Chism back into the corner. War Cloud raises arm for a huge overhand chop, but Chism ducks out of the way and gets behind Cloud. He grabs a waist lock and tries for a German Suplex. Cloud blocks that and spins around with a back elbow. Chism ducks and takes him over with a Northern Lights Suplex! 1…2…KICKOUT! Chism pulls him up and whips him into the opposite corner. Chism charges in, but War Cloud dodges out of the way sending Chism sternum first into the corner. Schoolboy by Cloud 1…2…KICKOUT! Chism rolls up and gets taken down by a clothesline allowing War Cloud to take control of the match.

Mason: Both men are going all out here Johnny. It looks like it could go either way.

Gold: Wimpy Wade is done. Put this one in the books. There is no way Wade can win this.

War Cloud continues on the offense kicking and stomping away at the champion. He even throws in a few random slams and a back breaker as well. Cover 1…2…SHOULDER UP! War Cloud lifts him up into position for the MICHINOKU DRIVER! Chism slips out the back and connects with a series of right hands. He kicks Cloud in the stomach and delivers a DDT! Cover 1…2…KICKOUT! Back to their feet and Chism whips War Cloud off the ropes Chism picks him up and delivers a SAMOAN DROP! 1…2…3!

Rating: 55/33/77

Chism gets up and the referee raises his hand in victory before handing him the WLW title. The crowd cheers as Chism holds up the title.

Mason: Another big win for Wild Wade as he gears up for September 30th in Sedalia!

Gold: He got lucky Kyle Mason! Wade Chism! The Gold Exchange is coming for you brother!

Mason: Fans it will be hectic is Sedalia in just six days. You do not want to miss this show trust me!

Gold: For once Kyle Mason is correct people. I got a lot of plans for Sedalia. Things will happen and deals will be done.

Mason: We are out of time for this week. We’ll see you in Sedalia!

IWA MID SOUTH - BAAAAAAA!!!

IWAMS has always been an independent promotion riddled with controversy. So much so that the fact that despite its name the fed is not even based in the mid-south. However that's just as well as then it wouldn't be able to showcase the pool of talent the Midwest has to offer. Whilst the area does not grow big crowds it probably has the finest selection of local talent than anywhere else in America. And ultimately, IWAMS is a way for this talent to get noticed and potentially make it big on the independent scene. IWAMS alumni and superstars (Who have made it big elsewhere) include the likes of CM Punk, Chris Hero, Colt Cabana, Ace Steel, 'Scrap Iron' Adam Pearce, Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, Arik Cannon, Jimmy Jacobs, M-Dogg20, Nate Webb BJ Whitmer, Matt Sydal, Delirious and Hillbilly Jed. However premier talent being tempted away (For the most part) does not deter IWA who continue to churn out even more future stars; the current breed of whom are the likes of Brandon Thomaselli, Josh Abercrombie, Tyler Black, Marek Brave, The Iron Saints (Vito/Sal Thomaselli) and Trik Davis (Who has made a vast improvement from being that guy Cash Flo beat t he living shit out of).

As previously stated IWAMS is a federation riddled with controversy. Ever since it was founded the fed has been riddled with financial problems and over the past couple of years the fed has announced its potential closure twice. Back in 2003 (When it ran its 'last 4 shows') and again this year, where it was first said the federation would be closing its doors at Christmas. However recently Ian Rotten made a huge announcement that things were starting to look up for IWA. Whilst the finances weren't good (But to be honest they never were to begin with) there's the possibility that the federation might be able to fight through the bad patch once again. However with attendances for the most part down and their largest drawing venue no longer available to them (Due to the 'NWO guys' who are now banned from events. Now that's the attendance down by 1/10) it's going to be tough for IWA.

The major problem comes from last year. IWAMS reached newfound success running huge shows with big names from all over America. Whilst this newfound popularity around North America was ultimately seen as a good thing, it was disastrous for the company. In order to satisfy the fans around the globe they crammed as many big names onto the cards as possible, which soon took its toll with the companies finances. The bigger stars meant a bigger wage bill and whilst the tape sales were up the gate was not enough to justify the use of all this talent. However they plugged on and lost more and more money. Leaving the federation in the moribund state that it is in today.

Now that the negatives are out of the way (Besides the fact IWA served a short time as a 'development facility' for XPW) it's time for the positives. Running for close to 9 Years IWA has provided us with some of the best matches in North America, some of the best talent in North America and one of, if not THE BEST tournament in North America. Everybody knows what I'm talking about, the Gauntlet Series of 2002. The night where CM Punk wins the IWAMS Heavyweight Championship. The greatest competition North America has ever seen. Purely for the reason that then IWAMS Heavyweight Champion M-Dogg gets completely obliterated by Necro Butcher with the aid of numerous lighttubes. However somewhere in the shadow of that awesome night (It is genuinely a good show) is the annual event, the 'Ted Petty Invitational'. And this years tournament is just around the corner (Unfortunately delayed one week due to me being incapable of writing 2 shows in 2 days) with 23 of the biggest names from all around the globe and Puma. Which is relatively short in comparison to the competition. So keep an eye out. IWAMS are ready to make one last thrust to glory. Will they sink or swim? Fly or die? Think of any original analogies? Only time will tell. (Are they analogies? I don't fucking know. Nor do I care. IWAMS RAE TOO HRDACORE FRO NEGLISH!!!! Actually that's still English, only misspelled. SCHEIDENLOCKER!!!)

This is IWA Mid South, enjoy.

Current Champions as of 9/24/05 (These belts are owned or affiliated with IWA)

IWAMS Heavyweight Champion - Jimmy Jacobs (defeated Danny Daniels for the title)

IWAMS Light Heavyweight Champion - Josh Abercrombie (defeated Delirious)

IWAMS Tag Team Champions - Arik Cannon and Claudio Castagnoli (defeated © The Iron Saints, Boz/Bradley and Team Underground in a 4-way)

IWAMS Woman's Champion - Mickie Knuckles (defeated Rain as NWA Midwest/IWAMS Woman's titles became separate entities)

NWA Midwest Woman's Champion - Ms Chif (defeated Rain)

NWA Midwest X Division Champion - Matt Sydal (defeated Justin Kage)

NWA Indiana State Champion - Jimmy Jacobs (defeated Brandon Thomaselli)

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT!

- NWA rules. The over the top rope DQ is gayer than male-on-male fellatio.

- A Mickie Knuckles title run.

- Ian Rotten in regular competition (In order to keep realism)

- A good Death Match Tournament. I suck at writing Death Matches.

WHAT TO EXPECT!

- Some big 'regular' returns such as Tarek The Great and Bull Pain (I know he's back IRL) to name a couple.

- Cameo's from a few former IWA wrestlers such as Suicide Kid and HY-ZAYA (SK does some commentary work in the Midwest now).

- SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

- More Against Me!

- And some pretty solid writing to boot.

So there you go. Some random shit revealed there without much being given away.

Some of you may know IWA had possibly their biggest shows last weekend. The Ted Petty Invitational Tournament. Here are the results (No spoilers, i've modified the results).

TPI 2005 NIGHT 1 RESULTS (9/23)

Eric Priest (w/Chandler McClure) defeats Trik Davis, Mark Wolf and Larry Sweeney in a non-tournament match. Priest makes the cover on Trik after Chandler McClure interferes hitting The Touchdown on 6:34.

AJ Styles defeats Tyler Black to progress to the next round of the TPI competition. Black puts up a brave fight however his lack of inexperience shows allowing Styles to pick up the win with the Styles Clash on 9:05.

In a battle between two Pro Wrestling Guerilla regulars, Kevin Steen defeats Joey Ryan. Both men received a standing ovation from the IWA crowd following the match. Steen picks up the win on 9:18 with the Package Piledriver.

Matt Sydal defeats El Generico in an insane spotfest. Sydal is able to kick out of an El Generico Brainbuster, similarly Generico survives Sydal's Shooting Star Press. However Sydal is able to end the match on 10:40 with a Moonsault Belly To Belly from the top rope.

Bryan Danielson defeats Claudio Castagnoli in what in many peoples eyes was not only match of the night but a definate match of the year candidate!! The first five minutes or so saw the men take part in a mat wrestling exchange. Soon after tempers grew and both men went at it stiff. Danielson worked away at the arm of Castagnoli trying to prevent him from using his trademark European upercuts. Significan spots see the two men relentlessly trading uppercuts and Danielson reversing a top rope uppercut into an enziguri in midair. The end came on 19:27 as Castagnoli looked for the Pyramid Bomb, but Danielson reversed it into a modified armbar, dragging Castagnoli to the canvas where he then locked in the Cattle Mutilation for the submission victory.

Chris Sabin was unfortunately unable to make it for the next match so Ian came out and announced that Brandon Thomaselli would receive a bie to the next round. As Brandon Thomaselli looked ready to leave the ring "Turn Me On Mr Deadman" hit at the crowd went wild for the returning Danny Daniels!! Daniels being the 2003 winner of the tournament was granted a chance to enter the tournament this year as Sabin's replacement, facing Brandon Thomaselli in the fist round. Brandon Thomaselli defeats Danny Daniels on 12:19 after Daniels stalls when delivering his patented Piledriver allowing Thomaselli to reverse it into a devastating Air Raid Crash for the win.

Chris Hero defeats Rainman in a very hard hitting match. Rainman caught Hero off guard early on, causing Hero to get frustrated. The end saw Hero literally destroy Rainman with a mass of forearms and elbows before hitting The Hero Sandwich - swinging uranage backbreaker for the 3 count on 8:44. The crowd applaud Rainman's efforts following the match, who unfortunately couldn't match his performance of 2004.

Nate Webb defeats Marek Bave with the Soilent Green #2 - Cobra Clutch lift into a spinning flatliner in a match between two of the premier talents in IWA Midsouth's Light Heavyweight Division. Webb gets the pinfall on 8:17. Webb will go on to face Kevin Steen in the second round.

INTERMISSION

In what can be described as a lucha classic, 'Toryumon' trainer Skayde defeats Puma on 9:23. What starts off as a friendly contest soon turns nasty as Skayde pulls out some underhand tactics, much to the anger of the IWA crowd. Skayde seems determined not to lose to this rookie no matter what the cost. Skayde picks up the submission victory by mocking his opponent for night 2, Bryan Danielson, using his Cattle Mutilation submission to get the fall.

In what can only be described as utter carnage, Eddie Kingston defeats Brad Bradley on 11:37. The match breaks into a giant brawl all around the arena, which the referee cannot seem to control. The end came as Kingston nails Bradley with a Yakuza Kick. Whilst the big man staggers, he does not fall! Kingston nails a second Yakuza Kick and is able to pick up the win and progress to face Matt Sydal at Night 2.

In what is seen as a giant upset, 'IWAMS Light Heavyweight Champion' Josh Abercrombie defeats James Gibson on 12:58 with a school boy roll up following an interference from Jimmy Jacobs. After the match Jacobs goes to raise Abercrombie's arm in victory but Abercrombie protests, unhappy at Jacobs' assistance. Jimmy Jacobs assaults Abercrombie, before Gibson makes the save. Ian Rotten comes out and thanks Gibson for his time with IWAMS. He announces that the weekend October 14/15 will be the last time Gibson is in IWAMS and says that on the 14th he will finally get his commupance on Jimmy Jacobs, in a non-title match inside a Steel Cage!!! Josh Abercrombie will face AJ Styles tomorrow night.

In an epic battle betweem two of IWA's regular talent, Delirious defeats Arik Cannon. The match begins with some comedy spots including Delirious singing Arik Cannon's theme tune, then attempting to sing his own. However it appears easier to sing "I Wanna Be Anarchy" than orchestral notes. The match mostly stays on the mat, and ends rather abruptly as Delirious surpises Cannon with a rolling prawn hold for the 3 count on 11:26. Delirious will meet Chris Hero in the next round.

In a match between two technical greats Alex Shelley defeats Mike Quackenbush to take the final spot in the last 12 of the Ted Petty Invitational. This defeat means all three of the losing semi-finalists of last year (Quack, Cannon and Rainman) have all went out in the first round this year. The two men mix it up a lot, some mat work as well as some innovative high flying spots are thrown in. The end saw Quack attempt a double jump moonault from the apron. Shelley moves, he then hits the Shellshock on the groggy Quack for the victory on 17:53. Shelley will meet Brandon Thomaselli in the next round. Following the match Ian Rotten applauds both men and announces Mike Quackenbush vs Super Dragon for night 2!!!

In the main event of the evening Jimmy Jacobs retains his IWAMS Heavyeight Championship when he defeats Colt Cabana. Of course there's the token comedy spots involved with both men. Including Cabana pulling out the whole bear on the ceiling trick. Jacobs tries one of his own, pointing behind Cabana. Cabana would turn round and Jacobs would roll out of the ring and run round the other side of Cabana. He did this a coupl of times before getting a shoulder block off Cabana. The end saw Jacobs look in danger of defeat as Cabana had him up for the Colt 45. Jacobs waved his legs and 'accidentally' kicked the referee in the face, putting the ref out of action for the short term. Jacobs reversed and kicked Cabana downstairs before hitting the Contra Code for the win on 16:43.

HWA Heavyweight Title Match

Matt Stryker vs. Cody Hawk

This match is nine months in the making. And if you Know anything about the HWA, this feud has been going on for two years.

September 2003 HWA fan favorite Matt Stryker, in a freak turn of events mafia kicks the hated Cody Hawk. Cody goes down and does not get back up. Five months pass before we see Cody again. When he returns we find out that he had suffered a broken neck, and was advised to never wrestle again. He decide to forgo the advise of his surgeon, and returned to wrestling. This lead to a match at the HWA Arena that was nothing more than a fist fight. It was brutal with Cody suffering a busted eye, and Stryker a bruised shoulder. Then next encounter would be a few weeks later with both men surprising the crowd and wrestling for 52 minutes. Cody was able to get the pin on Stryker that night. Both men hugged after the match, and a tag team was born out of respect. The Icons as they were dubbed by the fans destroyed every team that they faced in the HWA, and winning tag team gold on two separate occasions. This was the way it was until December 2004 at the War Games show in Dayton. Stryker turned on his friend, and bashed Cody's head with a brutal chair shot. He then helped the other team get the win. As a result of a stipulation put on that match Cody was then fired from the company, and did not return for another five months, until new 50%owner Jaxon Breeze brought him back. Cody has pursued Stryker ever since. He has knocked down ever obstacle that Stryker has put in front of him. He has now won the right to face Stryker 1 on 1. There will be no count outs, and no time limit on the match. This should prove to be one of the best matches in the HWA's history. Don't miss your chance to see it live at THE END.

HWA Tag Team Title Match

Foreign Intelligence vs. WAK +

For the past few month we have seen the team of WAK + come in to their own. They have gotten the much needed support of the fans, and have continued to climb through the ranks of the tag team division. Foreign Intelligence has also been on the roll of their careers, winning the tag belts several months ago, and putting down many formidable teams. These two team have been going at each other with very strong aggression, and neither team has shown any signs of backing down. Will WAK + full fill what they believe is their destiny, or will Ala and Q. Lee continue to reign supreme.

HWA TV Title Match

Lotus vs. Viper vs. Tack

After a huge attitude change, Lotus has gone from being one of the most loved guys in the HWA, to one of the cockiest, most arrogant guys around. He has resorted to using dirty tactics, and always taking the low road. This match came about, after Lotus interfered with a number 1 contender match, that saw Tack destroying Viper, and Lotus costing Tack the match, so he could have an easier time at THE END. Special update: Jaxon has decided to add Tack to this match due to the fact that it is THE END

- The SmarK Rant for PWG Lights! Camera! Guerrilla! Part I, taped Sep. 18 / 05 and shown Sep. 24 / 05.

- From Hollywood, CA.

- Your hosts are Jon Ian and Stephen Michael Payton.

- So after I moved to LA to serve as an executive consultant on Eye Scream Man -- and believe me, you do NOT want to know what Hollywood's like -- I was dying for some wrestling, and there's this stuff. Apparently, these guys are pretty big in LA and ready to burst to the next level, but recent swipings (AJ Styles and Bryan Danielson tied down to TNA and WWE, respectively) have hurt. Still, they have some decent stuff, plus guys willing to fly in as necessary, so let's see if it's ok.

- Opening Match: HardKore Kidd v. TJ Perkins. Hardkore is Aaron Aguilera, best known as Carlito's flunky Jesus back in 2004. Perkins is, I've been told, the Puma guy who appeared at Victory Road and blew every other spot. Commentary notes that both men were trained by Bryan Danielson of the WWE. Kidd pounds away to start and gets a lariat, but Perkins pops up and scores a dropkick and armdrag to send Kidd to the outside. Perkins tries to follow with a pescado, but Kidd catches him and throws him into the post. Back in, Flatliner gets two. Perkins fights out of a full nelson (as the crowd begins an obscene chant at Kidd for using it relating to the Master Lock) and goes low before getting a Lionsault for two. He tries for the figure-four, but Kidd shoves off and hits a choke bomb on the rebound for the pin at 5:42. *1/2

- Chris Bosh enters next as commentary puts over how he won the Battle of LA tournament three weeks ago. Bosh declares that he's proven himself to be the uncrowned king of PWG, and that everything he's ever done has come to be greatness. Apparently, he was one-half of the longest reigning PWG Tag Champs too, making sure to say it was no thanks to partner Scott Lost. He tells champion Kevin Steen and everyone else his reign as champion is a matter of time. Okay promo.

- Top Gun Talwar and Hook Bomberry v. Charles Mercury and Josh Prohibition. The heels have perhaps the best name I've ever heard for a tag team: Gunning for Hookers. Prohibition was, I believe, featured in one of those backyard wrestling documentaries, so I hate him already. Talwar gets blitzed by Mercury to start, getting nailed in the leg several times, before Prohibition enters and gets a backdrop and flying legdrop for two. Bomberry coldcocks Josh from the apron, and Talwar gets a DDT and neckbreaker to make Josh YOUR face-in-peril. Bomberry strikes away and floors Josh for two. Talwar applies a facelock, but Josh turns it into a Northern Lights Suplex. Hot tag Mercury, who goes ballistic on both men. Enzuigiri to Talwar, Shining Wizard to Bomberry, and he goes up for the guillotine on Talwar for two. It's BONZO GONZO as Josh gets tossed, and a double back suplex leads to the Danger Zone by Talwar for the finish at 8:06. *1/2

- Samoa Joe is in PWG. Yay.

- Aaron Aguilera challenges Samoa Joe for Oct. 2's TV tapings. Crowd chants "YOU WILL DIE" at Aaron, which is worth bonus points.

- Christopher Daniels v. Davey Richards. Total squash by Daniels, as he hits the Angel's Wings and Mile High Moonsault for the pin at 3:22. DUD

- PROMO OF THE WEEK:

Kevin Steen: "Next week, I want you all to tune in. Kevin Steen, your World Champion of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, is set to defend his crowd for the first time ever on PWG TV. And look who's been named the opponent: Super Dragon. You know, everyone knows the history we have. They know how I left Dragon laying in the dust as I went straight to the top of this group. They also know that I am the best talent they have ever seen. Super Dragon, if you're so good, let me ask: have YOU ever had an event named after you? No, you have not. But I have. Smells Like Steen Spirit. I love that name.

And next week, it will smell like Steen Spirit when I take one of the few challengers left who can even think of being the best and destroy him. Who will challenge me then? Danielson? He left for greener pastures. AJ Styles, the former champion? TNA pulled him off the show so I wouldn't embarrass him any more. Chris Bosh? The man who had one good night? He may talk a big game, but he can't back it up. No, after this there will be no one who can stand in my way. Long live the reign of Mr. Wrestling here in LA! And Dragon, prepare to be outclassed."

- Next week's show:

* Chris Sabin v. Joey Ryan

* Quicksilver v. Frankie Kazarian

* PWG "World" Title: Kevin Steen v. Super Dragon

- Main event: PWG Tag Team Titles: Human Tornado and El Generico v. Ballard Brothers. The Ballards (Shane and Shannon) are doing a Slap Shot ripoff. Tornado is like a character from a blaxploitation movie, and El Generico is just what you'd expect -- a parody of Mexican wrestlers. The champs are also known as 2 Skinny Black Guys as commentary debates whether the name is racist or not given that the team is only half-black. ANYway, faces clean house to start before Generico adds a plancha to both of them. Back in the ring, Tornado and Shane line up for a face-off (with imaginary sticks) before dropping the "gloves" and a slugfest breaks out. Tornado wins that and gets a series of armdrags as he and Generico work the arm. Shannon with a cross-check from behind on Tornado, and Shane runs him over to make him pimp-in-peril. The Ballards have some cool double-teams, I'll give them that, including a Rockerplex that gets two for Shannon. Shane misses a blind charge and walks into a Tornado DDT, hot tag Generico. Armdrags for everyone before a dropkick causes the Ballards to collide. Heels bail, so the champs hit stereo planchas, but Shannon buggers up his knee catching Tornado and is down and out. Back in, Shane tries to cheat to hold off the champs, getting a piledriver for two on Tornado, but Generico gets a brainbuster and 450 to retain at 13:23. And that's that. **

The Bottom Line:

Not a bad way to counter-program Velocity by any stretch of the imagination, and given that they seem to have a decent following, I imagine this will be around for a while. Of course, I expect them to do better on the second show, since this was Part I of a two-parter and advertised as such, but that's life for you. Too bad about the Ballards' injury; they look like they could've gone places.

Next week, though: Sabin! Kazarian! Title match! Good stuff.

*****

(Editor's Note: the signing of Danielson occurred exclusively in my game and not necessarily in the Wrestling World. We'll pretend Danielson is still allowed to work ROH full-time while they wait for a time to call him up. Yeah, that's it. (Y))

JERSEY ALL PRO WORLD WIDE, BITCHES!

IPB Image

Saturday 24th September 2005

Announcers: Mark Clemson and Steve 'Monsta' Mack

The DRS Show

Before our first contest of the night, we received a brief pre-taped word from E.C. Negro.

NEGRO: "You ain't watchin' Jersey All Pro World Wide! This is the DRS Show, Dirty Rotten Scoundrel E.C. Negro, and I'm gonna be layin' some waste to Corvis Fear - just like I did to Dan Barry on the 10th. Hahahahahahaa! It's time to play..."

40%

CLEMSON: "Welcome to this week's edition of Jersey All Pro Wrestling World Wide! This is Mark Clemson along with Steve 'Monsta' Mack, and we're kicking things off this week with Corvis Fear taking on the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel, E.C. Negro."

MACK: "It may be a step down from the JAPW Heavyweight title shot E.C. Negro got a few weeks ago, but I don't think you'll hear him complaining. The guy laughs, like, waaaay too much to be healthy."

Corvis Fear vs. E.C. Negro

A fast and frantic start failed to draw the crowd in, as they were mostly silent for the opening contest of the night. Negro drove the furious exchange to a halt as a well-placed fist to the temple caught Fear unawares and sent the young lightweight tumbling over towards the ropes. Negro was typically unopposed to using such peripherals to his advantage, and it was only the referee's intervention that stemmed the unnecessary choking that Fear was receiving. Tossing Fear back towards the centre of the ring, Negro gave him a quick dropkick to the back of the head, before flipping over into a pin with a bridge - 1...2...but Fear kicked out.

Negro went straight for another cover, but was put off such aspirations courtesy of a swift kick from his diligent opponent. A leg scissors then flipped Negro onto his back, and Fear dropped an elbow across his chest. Picking Negro up and whipping him towards the corner, Fear found himself reversed and sent clattering into the padded turnbuckles himself. A boot to the face averted Negro's incoming advances, and Fear hopped up off the second rope to capitalise on Negro's temporary disorientation. Flying neckbreaker! Well delivered, and Fear hooked the leg - 1...2...only this time it was Negro's turn to get his shoulder up before the finish.

Attempts from Fear to sustain his momentum were blocked, much like his punches, as Negro fought back with fists of his own. Whipped into the ropes, Fear ducked the clothesline and bounced back with a crossbody...which Negro evaded, dropping like a rock to the mat and allowing his flying adversary to pass straight over him. Clattering unexpectedly into the canvas on the opposite side, Fear was similarly unprepared for the Enzuigiri! "Hahahahahahahaa!" Negro cackled as Fear lolled backwards onto the mat. Ascending to the top rope, Negro steadied himself before leaping off - and connecting - with the Brolic Buffalo Legdrop! The cover - 1...2...3! Negro picked up yet another victory.

WINNER: E.C. Negro, by pinfall (clean)

Match: 80

Crowd: 10

Overall: 40

CLEMSON: "E.C. Negro with another victory here on World Wide, and he continues to impress since becoming a singles wrestler a while back."

MACK: "The way to measure a man's success is by his former tag team partner, and do you see K.C. Blade kicking ass on World Wide? Just like me. I'm the main man here in Jersey All Pro, while Damian Adams...yeah, hell if I know what he's up to these days."

CLEMSON: "You said that you barely knew what he was up to when you two were tagging together."

MACK: "That's also true. Maybe I just don't care enough."

Gunning For Hart

Monsta Mack was backstage to get a word with the Tag Team champions, the Backseat Boys. While Johnny Kashmere was standing off to the side, title belt over his shoulder and casually leaning against a wall, Trent Acid stood in the foreground with an intense look on his face. Actually, he didn't look very intense at all, as if the smug grin and the nonchalant drags from a cigarette weren't an indication. Such words as 'intense' don't mean very much when used in comparison to the Backseat Boys' typical demeanour...

MACK: "Trent, you guys beat The SAT on September 10th to retain your Tag Team title belts, but then you were attacked and challenged by that faggot Teddy Hart to a match on October 22nd, Atlantic City, the 8th Anniversary Show. What have you guys got to...?”

Trent Acid, apparently not being in the best of moods after all, interrupted him.

ACID: "Yeah, Teddy Hart. Always comes back to him, right? Just like always, he walks out of JAP for weeks, no-showing all those dates he agreed to work, and then just like that - he's back, and it's like he owns the place. Last I heard, Teddy Hart hadn't slept with the Fat Frank's daughter...hey Johnny, does Fat Frank even have a daughter?"

KASHMERE: "Search me man."

ACID: "Yeah well, anyway, I didn't hear anything about Teddy Hart having the influence backstage in Jersey All Pro to be able to pull this kind of shit. So what gives, man? How come he's always welcomed back with open arms? Is it because the fans actually believe the 'I do it for you, I love JAP, I'm here to give my best blah-blah-blablablah' shtick that he does? I've gotta believe they're not that stupid. Monsta Mack, you're in with the fans. Are they really that dumb?"

MACK: "You know I know better than to answer a question like that."

ACID: "Hey, true. You've got your job to think of, right? But yeah, Teddy Hart wants us to put our belts on the line for him on October 22nd. Thing is, will he do what he did when we won the belts last July and bail on the biggest show of the year? Apparently he's serious this time, or so the bruises I had on the back of my head all week told me. So who knows? That said, we'd just love to get another chance at beating his ass into the ground, ain't that right Johnny?"

KASHMERE: "Hell yeah we would."

ACID: "So as far as Teddy Hart's challenge goes? All I've got to say is..."

HOMICIDE: "Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, just hold that shit up a minute."

The three of them were suddenly joined by two representatives of the Strong Style Thugs, Homicide and B-Boy. Trent looked somewhat affronted to having been interrupted mid-sentence by them both, even going so far as to put out his cigarette. Mack took notice of this, and tried to keep the situation cool.

MACK: "Hey, Homicide..."

HOMICIDE: "Whassup, Mack bro?"

MACK: "Can you wait a minute? I'm just about finished with these guys..."

HOMICIDE: "Naw man, 'cause I got my own beef with this deal. The SST are fucking sick of punks coming in here and acting like they're all that, especially little shits like Teddy Hart. The SST are the ones running Jersey All Pro, and it ain't right for these guys to be getting title shots just 'cause they walk up and ask for them. But that ain't where I'm really coming from, bro. What I'm really about is how I called out Teddy Hart on the 10th, but the little pissant didn't have the balls to come out and face me. I know he was in the arena, 'cause of how he did that deal with you two earlier on in the night. So don't you be accepting no Tag title challenges before the Strong Style Thugs have had their fill of Teddy Hart, know what I'm sayin'?"

The Backseat Boys looked positively incredulous at what they'd just heard, and Trent yanked the microphone back towards him.

ACID: "Hey man, we haven't got to listen to you. If the Tag Team champs feel like accepting a challenge, we'll damn well do so."

HOMICIDE: "That right? You only got those belts 'cause the SST haven't come for you yet."

KASHMERE: "Is that right?"

B-BOY: "Damn right!"

MACK: "Okay guys, chill it now, chill."

Mack tried to keep himself between the two jostling teams, but he couldn't manage it for long. A stray fist from Acid hit him in the jaw, and then everything kicked off. With Mack stumbling away off-screen, the Tag champs and the SST came together in an impromptu brawl. It was only the addition of the third SST member Low-Ki to the mix, running in after hearing the fight from nearby, that led to the Backseat Boys making their retreat and the hostilities coming to an end. B-Boy helped up Monsta Mack as the SST muttered and swore about the Tag Team champions.

THE OUCH FILES!

Footage of New Jack's decimation of Danny Demanto at 'Haas of Pain' was shown, with particular emphasis on the crippling VCR shot to the head. Demanto flopped backwards as the camera zoomed in on the remains of the video recording device, and the large head-shaped dent that it had sustained.

A Challenge Too Far

We returned to the arena to see the man himself, Danny Demanto, making his way out to the ring.

CLEMSON: "Welcome back to World Wide! That bandage on Danny Demanto's head is covering just some of the stitches he received as a result of the beating he received from New Jack at Haas of Pain. I guess he shouldn't have made the open challenge, huh?"

MACK: "Yeah, I don't like this guy. Not only did he beat my favourite wrestler, Plazma, but then he had the gall to make a challenge to anyone else in the back - like beating Plazma wasn't enough. I'm glad he got his ass handed to him by New Jack. That VCR shot was SICK."

Demanto picked up a microphone and entered the ring to make an announcement.

DEMANTO: "It seems that my little run-in with New Jack two weeks ago has had everyone talking, everyone laughing at my expense! The fact of the matter is, when I made my Open Challenge I was not prepared for New Jack, and you know why?"

Suggestions to the effect of "You're a pussy, clap clap clap-clap-clap" were ignored.

DEMANTO: "It's because New Jack is NOT an official member of the JAPW roster! How can I be expected to accept a challenge if I'm allowed to be caught so off-guard like that?"

MACK: "...Has anyone actually sat down and explained to this guy what an Open Challenge is?"

The now-modified chants of "Shut the fuck up, clap clap clap-clap-clap" suggested: no.

DEMANTO: "So what I'm going to do now is REISSUE my challenge! This time to anyone who is part of the official JAPW roster. I may still be hurting from Haas of Pain, but I'm more than ready to take down ANYONE that might stand in my way. So come on, bring the goods!"

He dropped the microphone and readied himself, as both the fans and the commentators discussed amongst themselves the sanity of this plan.

Then, on came Enter Sandman, and the crowd went apeshit.

MACK: "Oh Christ."

CLEMSON: "I'm getting the impression Demanto's not too bright."

MACK: "Let's face it, after this he'll be lucky if he has any brain cells left at all."

Danny Demanto vs. The Sandman

Due to the time constraints of World Wide, Sandman's entrance was cut up till the point when he was finally entering the ring. His forehead already a bloody mess from the repeated beer can battering it had received, he pulled the Singapore cane out from the back of his trousers and whirled it menacingly. Demanto, for his part, stood in the far corner of the ring and eyed the cane with suitable worry.

CLEMSON: "Well, this one should be over quickly."

MACK: "Not quickly enough for Demanto, I don't think. It wouldn't even help him to lie down on the mat - Sandman would still cane his ass anyway."

Scraping up the courage from the depths of his being, Demanto ducked down and took a run at Sandman, hoping to knock him off his feet and perhaps get the cane away from him...a shame that he merely ran headfirst into a sharp cane shot, then.

CLEMSON: "I wonder - is the referee going to be disqualifying Sandman for using that cane?"

MACK: "Did you hear a bell? I think the referee realises that this isn't a match, this is an assassination."

A beating it most certainly was, as Demanto fell flat on his back as a result of receiving the cane right between the eyes. Sandman then continued to deliver cane shots to his prone body, as blood began to flow out of the now-reopened wound on Demanto's forehead. As proverbial icing on the cake, Sandman spread Demanto's legs and looked for approval from the crowd. He received it. A disgustingly harsh blow with the Singapore Cane, and Demanto wasn't going to be having children any time soon.

MACK: "I think Sandman's just guaranteed Demanto's place in the Ouch Files for the second week in a row..."

Quickly exiting the ring to grab a beer from a generous member of the crowd, Sandman returned to enact the formality of placing a foot on Demanto's chest, whilst holding the Singapore Cane up high. He had almost finished downing the beer by the time the referee's hand hit the mat for the three. It was lucky for Demanto that Sandman was still thirsty, otherwise he might have stuck around to dish out more punishment.

WINNER: The Sandman, by pinfall (clean?)

MACK: "Nothing like a random, violent spectacle to remind me why I love Jersey All Pro."

CLEMSON: "Nothing like a random, violent spectacle to remind Danny Demanto why he shouldn't go around making open challenges in a place like this."

MACK: "I hope not. I just might take him up on it if he does it again. It might help me relax."

A Stepping Stone

In front of a gym wall somewhere, Charlie Haas directed his sentiments towards the camera.

HAAS: "Jay Lethal, when I made my return in July I said would usher in a new era at Jersey All Pro. I was going to do what I did before, and use this company as a stepping stone to the greater things that I deserve. But at Haas of Pain - an event named in honour of me! At Haas of Pain, you beat me with nothing more than a roll-up. A goddamn roll-up!"

"You don't seem to understand, Jay, that JAPW was built around me, and my brother Russ! And now that I'm back, it's time for you to move aside. It's time for you, and all of Jersey All Pro, to play your role in taking my career back where it belongs. I promise you, I will take your JAPW Heavyweight title - as punishment for the humiliation you caused me at Haas of Pain. You're nothing without that title belt, just like Jersey All Pro is nothing without me. Once I'm done with you, it will be time. Time for Charlie Haas to return...home."

CLEMSON: "Alright! It's time for main event of the evening tonight here on JAPW World Wide - a tag team match that could be a shadow of things to come as husband and wife Charlie Haas and Jackie Gayda team up to face JAPW Heavyweight champion Jay Lethal and April Hunter. Joining me to call this contest will be the man who beat Corvis Fear earlier on, E.C. Negro."

NEGRO: "Ahh, Mark Clemson. Are you not just ecstatic to be getting a double-dose of the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel this evening? Hahahahaha! Of course you are, why would I ask."

CLEMSON: "The crowd seem split on this one, Negro. They're mostly..."

NEGRO: "Excuse me Clemson, but when you refer to me as 'Negro', I find it offensive."

CLEMSON: "But it's your..."

NEGRO: "My name is E.C. NEGRO, get it right!"

CLEMSON: "Oh. Well, E.C. Negro, the crowd seems to be backing Jay Lethal and Jackie Gayda, but neither of their respective partners! I'm not sure I know which side they'd be happier to see win."

E.C. NEGRO: "This is why I say that you should never see married couples in wrestling. They just screw everything up. Those women should be free, single, and on the arm of the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel E.C. Negro! Hahahahahaha!"

Charlie Haas and Jackie Gayda vs. Jay Lethal and April Hunter

The rules of this match stated that the men and women were only able to compete against their own respective gender, which was convenient for the crowd because it guaranteed a fan favourite to always be in the ring. It was the male contingent that began the proceedings, chain wrestling all across the ring as each attempted to wrap the other up into a proverbial ball. A sudden roll-up cover by Lethal was reversed into a roll-up by Haas, and then back again into one by Lethal. The two men broke apart as the crowd cheered the exchange.

CLEMSON: "You can see Charlie Haas did not like being rolled up like that, because it was exactly the way he lost the title match on the 10th!"

E.C. NEGRO: "What do you want him to do, start singing happy songs about the joys of being pinned? Shut up Mark Clemson, your gibberish is not welcome here."

Tagging in his wife, Haas opted to let the women duke the matter out for the time being as Lethal was also forced to recede. The two females locked up for the first time since April blindsided Jackie at Haas of Pain, and it was the more experienced Hunter that dominated the encounter. Jackie found herself being tossed back and forth across the ring in an unpleasantly methodical regime of punishment. April's expression suggested that she'd really prefer to stay here beating Jackie up all day, but in the end she did go for the cover - 1...2...though Jackie got her shoulder up.

CLEMSON: "Though we've yet to hear from April herself, it seems that she's really got it in for Jackie. Hopefully we can get an interview with her before too long to let her explain herself."

E.C. NEGRO: "What needs explaining? She's right in there beating the crap out of her right now, that's all you need to know. Though Jackie seems unwilling to just lay down for her...a problem that DRS has no experience of whatsoever."

April's mild frustration at her opponent's resilience prompted her to finally accept Lethal's repeated calls to be tagged in, and we returned to the male demographic of this contest. This exchange was far less even-handed than the last, as Haas unleashed a fury that could well have been building up in him ever since Haas of Pain. Lethal would not surrender, however, and all pin attempts were rebuked. Charlie then signalled for it to end, and went to lock in the Haas of Pain itself - but Lethal would not allow it, lashing out at Haas and knocking him away before the hold could be applied. Taking a run at his opponent, Lethal knocked him down time and again with elbows and clotheslines, and finally even a Shining Wizard! A cover of his own - 1...2...but Haas still kicked out.

Lethal continued the punishment, but accidentally knocked Haas too close to his own corner for Jackie to come to her husband's aid and tag herself in. This didn't stop the men however, as Haas gave Lethal a thumb to the eye and the pair of them continued to brawl, much to the referee's chagrin. Their fight even spilled over to the outside as Lethal delivered a Sunset Flip to Haas over the ropes! Meanwhile, Jackie was somehow managing to stay on top of April in the ring. She went for the Flipping Neckbreaker - the move that would have sealed her victory at Haas of Pain had it not been for April's interference - but April blocked it. Instead she roughly grabbed Jackie and delivered...the Hunter's Arrow! April connected with her finisher, and it was all over for Jackie - 1...2...3! April Hunter pinned Jackie Gayda!

WINNERS: Jay Lethal and April Hunter, by pinfall (clean)

Match: 49

Crowd: 61

Overall: 51

As the result was announced, Jay Lethal rolled back into the ring and raised his arms to celebrate the victory. Realising this, Haas followed him in and attempted to take him down from behind. However Lethal was all too aware and he was able to sidestep Haas' attack and toss him back out of the ring. Similarly, April and Jackie got into another scuffle on the outside. Lethal dusted his hands of what he had just done to Haas, turned back around...into Rhino! Rhino delivered the Gore to Jay Lethal!! What on earth just happened?!

CLEMSON: "What the hell?!? Rhino just came out of nowhere and gored Jay Lethal off his feet!!"

E.C. NEGRO: "Damn it! Damn you Rhino! I was going to do that! Stop stealing my ideas!"

Rhino took only a moment to look down at the fallen body of the JAPW Heavyweight champion before he once again went and disappeared from whence he came. Charlie Haas clambered back into the ring to survey the damage, and didn't look particularly happy at what had just passed. He can't have felt worse than Jay Lethal though, who was on the receiving end of said damage. The champion groaned in pain on the mat as Mark Clemson was forced to wish us goodbye, and thank us all for watching JAPW World Wide. Until next week...!

HWA TV Title Match

Lotus © vs. Viper vs. Tack

The HWA TV Champion, Lotus, is the first one out as THE END gets underway. The fans show the TV Champion their disgust with tons of boos. Lotus, of course, soaks this up, and acts even more arrogant.

Malone: Lotus has good reason to be confident here tonight. What was once a one-on-one match between him and Tack has now turned into a triple threat match involving one of Lotus's admirers, Viper.

Nicholas: That's right. Tonight's gonna be more of a handicap match for poor Tack.

The next wrestler out is of course Viper. Viper and Lotus embrace in the ring, as the two anxiously await the arrival of Tack. After some tense moments, The 'Daredevil of Extreme,' Tack, runs out from the back. The heels scatter from the ring as Task yells aggressively at both Lotus and Viper, signaling that tonight, the TV Title is coming back around his waist. Referee 'Colorblind' Bruce Gray signals for the bell and this match is now underway!

Viper and Lotus approach the ring from opposite corners. Viper jumps on the apron first and quickly gets knocked down by Tack. Lotus tried to ambush Tack from behind, but gets knocked down with a right hand as well. Tack is really taking it to the TV champion, pushing him against a turnbuckle and nailing him with repeated right hands. Tack moves the champion in the middle of the ring, and delivers a huge elbow to his chin. Lotus, holding his chin, moves back to the corner for a breather. Tack goes off in pursuit, but gets ambushed from behind by Viper. Viper quickly gets some right hands in, and breaks up the Tack's early groove. Viper whips Tack into the ropes, and goes for a big right hand. Tack ducks, and nails Viper with a dropkick, sending him out of the ring. Of course, Lotus gets the chance to hit a jumping back neckbreaker. Lotus goes for the quick cover. 1……….2………Tack kicks out. Lotus shouts at Bruce Gray, and guides Tack back to his feet. Lotus whips Tack into the corner, and charges. Tack moves out of the way at the last second, but is dragged out of the ring by Viper. Viper has Tack outside the ring, and decks him with a big clothesline. The TV Champion, Lotus, also makes his way to the outside. Viper and Lotus pick Tack up, and charge towards the ring post, launching Tack headfirst into the steel. Tack hits the steel post hard, and falls down to the ground. Lotus and Viper roll him back in the ring.

Viper grabs the arms of Tack, rendering the challenger defenseless. Lotus, of course, takes the opportunity to hit Tack with several huge chops across the chest. The masked superstar, Viper, continues to hold Tack as Lotus hits a jumping clothesline. Tack goes down, and Viper and Lotus continue to stomp away. Viper whips Tack into the ropes, and goes for a right hand. Tack ducks Viper's right hand, but runs right into a sleeper from Lotus. This is a blatant handicap match disguised as a triple threat as Viper and Lotus are spending all their time double-teaming on poor Tack. Tack manages to elbow his way out of the sleeper hold, but he is tripped up from behind by Viper. Viper and Lotus hit a double suplex on Tack, and Tack gets up gingerly, holding his back. Lotus goes for a cover on Tack. 1……..2…….Tack kicks out. Lotus only has a dangerous grin on his face, as he points to Viper. Viper nods, and he whips Tack hard into the corner. Viper then Irish whips Lotus into the same corner, looking for the splash. However, Tack moves out of the way at the last second……nobody home for Lotus. Tack meanwhile, charges forward, and nails Viper with a huge spinkick. Tack goes for the cover on Viper. 1……….2……….Viper kicks out in the nick of time. Lotus charges at Tack again, who calmly sends him out of the ring. Viper and Tack are left alone in the middle of the ring. Viper retreats to a corner, where Tack hammers at him with right hands.

Tack then switches to shoulder thrusts, doing heavy damage to the ribs of Viper. Tack follows that up with a double arm suplex. He makes the cover. 1………2……….Viper kicks out yet again. Tack whips Viper into the ropes, and Viper is stopped by Lotus on the outside. The fans groan again as the heels once again make their way into the ring. However, they are caught off-guard as Tack hits them with a double baseball slide! Tack then proceeds to launch himself using the ropes, and takes both heels out. Tack decides to isolate the champion, Lotus, this time. He rolls Lotus into the ring, and stomps at the side of Lotus. Tack signals for the Devil Driver, and the crowd is on their feet. Tack picks Lotus up, and gets him in position for his finisher. Suddenly, Viper rushes into the ring, and clocks Tack from behind. Lotus quickly rolls out of the ring to recuperate. Viper spears Tack to the ground, and the two trade right hands.

Malone: What drives Viper to this? Why is he so intent on destroying Tack?

Viper and Tack eventually make it to their feet. Tack is teetering, as Viper hits right hand after right hand, driving Tack back to the corner. Viper is unrelenting. He goes to the opposite corner, runs the length of the ring, and goes for a body splash. Unfortunately, Tack meets him with an elbow to the face. Tack comes roaring back with right hands. Viper goes for a right hand, Tack catches him, and hits him with the Tack Press! Viper is completely laid out. Instead of going for the cover, however, Tack motions that the mask is coming off. The fans applaud, as many stand to finally get a glimpse of who the troubled man behind the mask of Viper is. Tack grabs the mask, and gives it a good tear. The camera zooms in to reveal……..Mike Desire, Tack's tag team partner! Tack has a look of disbelief, as he backs up in horror and shock. Suddenly, Lotus appears from behind, and destroys Tack with the Casket Cutter. Lotus takes advantage and quickly goes for the pin. 1…………2……….3. It's over.

Winner: Lotus

(40, 52, 28)

Lotus seems just as surprised as everyone else at the unmasking of Viper. Viper, meanwhile, is back to his feet. He immediately goes up for his face, and realizes that his mask is gone. He looks frightened for a second, before unleashing a sadistic grin. Viper/Mike Desire grabs a steel chair from ringside, and proceeds to do a number on his former friend and tag team partner. He leaves Tack a bloody mess in the middle of the ring before walking to the back.

Grudge Match

Rory Fox vs. Pepper Parks

The crowd is still clearly shocked by the unveiling of Viper, as the longest-reigning HWA Champion in the history of the federation, walks out from the back. Rory Fox, in his trademark sunglasses, walks out to loud jeers. Pepper Parks, meanwhile, gets a nice pop, as Malone and Hooks Nicholas run down what happened last week. Apparently, Pepper Parks was the surprise guest referee for Rory Fox, and did not exactly call the match down the center.

Pepper Parks and Fox lock up in the middle of the ring with Rory Fox getting the early advantage. Fox pushes Park into the ropes, but Parks knocks him down with a big shoulder tackle. Pepper Parks plays to the crowd, waits for Rory Fox to get up, and hits a couple of arm drags, ending the sequence with the arm lock. Fox manages to reverse out of it, and both men are again on their feet. This time, Parks pushes Fox into the ropes. Fox comes off the ropes, and knocks Pepper Parks down. Parks quickly ducks as Fox goes for a clothesline. Parks catches Rory Fox, and hits a big neckbreaker. Parks goes for the first cover of the night. 1……….2…….Rory Fox kicks out. Fox quickly rolls out of the ring for a quick breather, but Pepper Parks is in pursuit. Pepper Parks goes and smashes Fox's head into the steel post. Parks goes for another, but Fox blocks it and returns the favor! Fox rolls Parks into the ring, and grabs his legs. Fox is on the outside, and he smashes the right leg of Pepper Parks right into the ring post. Parks is holding onto the right knee in pain as Fox rolls back into the ring.

Rory Fox would spend the rest of the match working and picking the knee apart. Fox starts it off with an easy leg lock, using his own leg to stretch the right knee of Pepper Parks. After that, Fox helps Pepper Parks to his feet, only to kick him in the fragile kneecap. Rory Fox decides to abandon the knees for awhile, and whips Pepper Parks into the corner. Fox runs into the corner with a clothesline that sent Parks to the mat. Fox climbs onto Parks and unleashed a flurry of punches to his head. Almost as if the built up frustrations Fox was experiencing was being taken out on Parks.

The ref warns Fox to watch where his leg was going, but Fox didn't listen as he dropped another legdrop between Parks's legs. Parks began to try to pull himself up, but was having a hard time as Fox was stomping a mudhole into him. Parks is finally allowed back to his feet, but Fox runs in with a high knee and took him back to the mat. After an elbow drop, Fox attempts a cover. One, kickout by Parks. Fox grabs a handful of Parks's hair and pulls him back up to his feet. Fox slapped him across the face, then gave him a boot to the midsection to double him over. Fox hooked Parks for a vertical suplex, but Parks slid down Fox's back and rolled him up. One, Two, kickout.

Both men roll to their feet and run at each other. Parks levels Fox with a clothesline. Fox was back up and this time Parks hits him with a dropkick. Fox gets back up to his feet and swings a right hand at Parks. Parks ducks and locks on a sleeper hold to Fox. Fox tries to fight it off, but he was slowly starting to fade out from the hold. He drops to one knee and Parks lockson the hold tighter. It looks like Fox was starting to pass out. The ref comes over and checks on Fox. He lifts Fox's arm once; it falls. He lifts it a second time; it falls. The third time...and Fox is actually able to keep it up for once! Fox got up and drove his elbow into Parks's midsection to break the hold. Fox ran to the ropes, but as he comes back off the ropes he is met with a standing sidekick from Parks.

Fox slowly got up and Parks gave him a boot to the midsection and then tossed him through the ropes to the floor. The fans cheered Parks on, encouraging him to dive. Parks didn't hesitate to oblige. He ran to the opposite ropes, ran and dove through the ropes with a suicide dive. Unfortunately, Fox moves and Parks hits the guardrail hard. Fox takes a second to get his wind back before going back onto the attack on Parks. He hit a stiff right hand to Parks's head as he was trying to get up. Parks lifts him up and sets him up for a piledriver onto the floor. However, Parks counters with a backdrop sending Fox back first to the hard floor. Parks walked around ringside and picked up his chair and lifted it in the air to get a pop from the crowd. He walks back over to Fox, who was using the ring post to pull himself up. Parks swings the chair, but Fox moves. The chair bounces off the ring post and hit Parks right in the head. Parks falls to the floor as Rory Fox can't believe his luck. Rory Fox quickly covers. 1………..2……….Parks still manages to kick out! The fans can't believe it, and neither can Rory Fox.

Rory Fox quickly locks on the Fox Trap, reaggravating the early knee damagement that he already put on Pepper Parks. After the chair shot and the grueling match, Pepper Parks eventually has no choice but to tap out.

Winner: Rory Fox

(50, 52, 48)

Before the next match, however, Jaxon Breeze's music hits, and the crowd cheers for the co-owner of the HWA. The cheer quickly turn into boos, as Brock Guffman appears alongside Breeze.

Breeze: Thank you, we're just out here tonight to make some announcements. Now, I've never been one to take up anybody's valuable time, so here it is. I'm proud to announce along with my colleague, Brock Guffman, here, that we have managed to secure a new television deal for Heartland Wrestling Association. That's right, from here on out, HWA can be seen all throughout this country. That's right, HWA is going national!

Breeze has a big grin on his face as the crowd cheers.

Breeze: We'll have more details on that as they come, make sure to check the HWA website. However, I just wanted to let you know that HWA will not be moving anywhere. We'll be right here in Cincinnati, Ohio for a good long time.

The crowd cheers again, as Guffman rolls his eyes.

Breeze: That's it, and I hope you all enjoy the rest of the show.

(68)

The crowd quickly talks over the latest development, as we get set for our next match.

Special Handicap Match

Benjamin Kimera vs. HWA Rookies Brad Smith and Alan the Solution

The rookies, Brad Smith and Alan the Solution, come out first. They seem ready to go for their first "big" match against HWA veteran, Benjamin Kimera, who issued this special handicap challenge last week's Main Event TV. They anxiously await the arrival of Benjamin Kimera. Kimera, after a short pause, shows up at the top of the stage. Fans are surprised, however, to find that Kimera has a microphone in hand.

Kimera: So, let me just start by saying that I'm delighted that somebody in this federation had the guts to accept my handicap challenge. Very nice job, kids. But it seems there's been a misunderstanding. Oh, there will be a handicap match tonight, but it won't be two on one.

Kimera reveals a nasty grin, as more music hits, and it's Necessary Roughness, Jon Moxley and Jimmy Turner. They walk up next to Benjamin Kimera.

Kimera: See, we're sick and tired of rookies coming out here and not paying their dues. It's time somebody got the message across, and in this case, it calls for some Necessary Roughness.

Necessary Roughness and Benjamin Kimera rush down to the ring, and the rookies are completely overwhelmed. There is a three on two assault. Benjamin Kimera picks Brad Smith up, and delivers the MoTown Throwdown. Necessary Roughness, meanwhile, hit their Neckbreaker-Spinebuster combination on Alan the Solution. Kimera pins Brad Smith as Necessary Roughness piles on top of Alan the Solution. Referee Bruce Gray has no choice but to count the 1………2……3.

Winners: Benjamin Kimera and Necessary Roughness

(31, 39, 24)

HWA Tag Team Titles Match

Foreign Intelligence © vs. WAK+ (4BJ and Dr. Bones)

Dr. Bones throws Quinten Lee out of the ring, as Jennings continues to wail on Ala Hussein. Jennings runs to the opposite turnbuckle, and charges full speed at Hussein, nailing him with the body splash. He follows that up with a big neckbreaker, taking Hussein down. 4BJ quickly covers. 1………..2…….Hussein gets the shoulders up. Hussein looks for a tag early, and Jennings will not allow it. He drags Ala Hussein back to his corner, and tags in Dr. Bones. Bones carefully steps into the ring, and Jennings holds Hussein while Bones delivers a big uppercut.

Hussein crawls to the center of the ring, and Bones follows. Bones whips Hussein into the ropes, but it gets reversed. Bones comes off the ropes, however, and knocks Hussein down with a big shoulder tackle. Bones kneels down and goes for an armbar, but Ala Hussein rolls out of it, and Lee makes the blind tag in. Hussein quickly leaves the ring, as his partner will take over. Lee and Bones circle around the ring, and get into a fierce lockup. Lee pushes Bones into a turnbuckle, and hits him with a big chop! Bones runs at him, and gets taken down by an armdrag, and Lee wrenches the arm of Bones. Bones rolls through, and gets back on his feet, before Lee hits him with a big clothesline.

The crowd is chanting "4bJ," and 4BJ is anxious to get back into the match, but the tag team champions start to isolate Dr. Bones. Hussein tags back in, and the tag team champs whip Bones against the ropes, and then hits him with a big double spinebuster. Bones gets PLANTED and Hussein hooks the legs. 1………2…….Bones gets the shoulders up in time. Hussein places some well deliver stomps to the face of Bones, and goes to follow it up with a big knee drop, but Bones moves out of the way. Bones goes for a right hand, but is met with a quick poke to the eyes by Ala Hussein. Hussein whips Bones to his own corner, where Lee takes the opportunity to illegally choke Bones. Brian Jennings protests, but this just gets Senior Official Joe Kopasz more distracted.

Nicholas: These guys started a little rusty, but look at the impressive teamwork by Foreign Intelligence now. They are just on a roll.

Lee enters the ring, and the duo uniformly stomp at poor Dr. Bones. The referee turns around to find Lee angelically holding the tag rope, reaching in to make the tag. The tag is made, and Lee goes to the top rope, and drops a big elbow on Bones. He covers. 1…………2………4BJ runs in and breaks up the pinfall to a mild pop. He gets pushed back out by the referee, and Lee drags Bones back to his corner. The technician, Lee, now looks to take out the legs of Bones, as he locks in a half-Boston Crab. He turns Bones over, and puts a lot of pressure on both the legs and the lower back. Bones is in a world of pain, as he inches toward the ropes. After a back-and-forth struggle, Bones winds up at the ropes, and the referee forces the submission to be broken.

Bones is struggling to his feet, and is met by some tough shots from Lee to the stomach. Lee sets Bones up for a suplex, but he can't lift Bones! He tries again, and again no success. However, Bones is able to use that momentum, and he reverses the suplex into a suplex of his own! Both men are down in the middle of the mat, but Lee is closer to his partner. Lee reaches over and makes the tag, but Bones is unable to do so! Ala Hussein runs in, and cuts Bones off. He helps Bones to his feet, and then goes for a big right hand. Bones ducks, however, and meets Lee with a big headbutt, knocking him back into a turnbuckle. Bones then tries to slam into him, but he falls to the mat as the leg is still very much damaged. Hussein grins, and he covers cockily. 1………2…….Bones still manages to kick out.

Hussein goes to the top rope, and is signaling to finish the match with his patented Moonsault. He scales to the top, and jumps off…….but Bones moves out of the way! He moves at the last second, and he is now inching closer and closer toward Hank. Ala Hussein grabs his legs, but Bones makes a final leap, and tags in 4bJ! Brian Jennings runs in, and meets Ala Hussein with a huge right hand. Lee runs in, and gets a right hand as well. Hussein gets to his feet, and 4BJ hits him with a big Sambo Suplex. 4BJ covers, as the crowd anticipates the titles changing hands. 1………2………Lee runs in and breaks it up. Lee goes to stomp at Hussein, but Dr. Bones is back in! Bones picks Lee up, and tosses him out of the ring.

In the ring, Brian Jennings stirs to his feet, and waits for Ala Hussein to get up. Hussein eventually stands up, and 4BJ goes for the Buffalo Stunner! Ala Hussein pushes out of it, however. Ala Hussein reverses into the hard powerbomb. Ala Hussein signals for the Camel Clutch. He locks it in. Dr. Bones tries to get into the ring to break it up, but Quinten Lee holds him back. It's seconds before 4BJ submits to the Camel Clutch.

Winners: Foreign Intelligence

No Holds Barred - HWA Heavyweight Title Match

Matt Stryker © vs. Cody Hawk

Finally, the main event that we've all been waiting for. The reigning HWA Heavyweight Champion, Matt Stryker, comes out first to loud jeers from the crowd. Contrastingly, there's a huge pop for Cody Hawk. Hawk walks down to the ring, giving his former teammate and friend a death stare. The two meet at the center of the ring. The staredown is intense, as the crowd is overwhelmingly on Cody Hawk's side. Suddenly, Stryker hits a right hand. Hawk returns with a right hand of his own, and this match is underway! They exchange shots in the middle of the ring, and Hawk whips Stryker into the ropes. Stryker comes off with a jumping body press, but Hawk catches him in mid-air. Stryker is able to land on top of Hawk for the quick pin attempt. 1………Hawk kicks out. Stryker charges at Hawk, and gets taken out with the arm drag. Hawk quickly drops a knee on the left arm of Stryker, and moves right into the arm lock. Stryker is able to use his strength to roll over to the ropes. He gets to his feet, shaking that left arm in pain. Hawk charges, however, and clotheslines Stryker out of the ring, Hawk also falling along with the champion.

The two trade shots on the outside, but Stryker gets a headbutt that seems to break Hawk's rhythm. Stryker follows by tossing Cody Hawk right into the guardrails, sending Hawk's back right into the steel. Stryker quickly takes the opportunity to take a breather, but Hawk fights through the pain and is right back on his feet. Hawk hits another right hand to Matt Stryker, and sends Matt Stryker into the guardrails! Cody Hawk follows that by smashing Stryker's face into the same rails. The fans cheer as Cody Hawk shouts, "NO COUNT," referring to the No Count Out stipulation. With that, Hawk tosses Stryker into the crowd, and walks him through the crowd. They reach the tunnel, and Hawk goes to bang Stryker's head into the walls, but Stryker gets a hand in there to block it. Stryker hits a right hand to Cody Hawk, and Hawk releases Stryker. Stryker staggers forward to the wall, where he sees a mop. Hawk charges at Stryker, but Stryker picks up the mop and nails Hawk in the head with the mop. A sickening thud is heard, as Stryker also falls down.

Stryker forces Cody Hawk on his feet, and they go further backstage. Stryker rubs Hawk's face along the rough walls, as we now see that Hawk has already been busted open. Stryker follows that with a huge DDT on the cement floor. The crowd is going nuts watching the action on the big screen. They now come upon a steel cabinet. Stryker throws Cody Hawk into the steel cabinet, and we actually see a dent from the impact! Matt Stryker bends over, and yells in Cody Hawk's face, "FEAR THE BROW!" However, Cody Hawk gets the chance to trip Stryker, sending him face first into the cabinet as well. Both men are down, and struggle to their feet. Cody Hawk and Stryker crawl over to opposite walls, using them as support to stand up. Hawk finds a strong footing, and they are now in the tunnelway before the ramp entrance! They trade shots all along the tunnel, and soon make their way out to the ring once again! Stryker goes for a right hand, but Cody Hawk ducks. Cody Hawk goes and connects with a neckbreak on the ramp! Cody Hawk quickly walks beside the ring, where he kneels down and finds a 15-foot ladder!

Stryker is still struggling to his feet, as Cody Hawk is setting the ladder up in the corner. Malone and Nicholas remind us that this match is indeed anything goes as Stryker crawls inside the ring. Hawk immediately hits him with more right hands, and lays him on the ladder. Meanwhile, he has a trash can lid as well, and he hits Stryker in the head several times. Cody Hawk charges, and goes for the Stinger Splash on the ladder. Cody Hawk connects! Stryker's head bounces off the ladder, as he collapses on the mat. Cody Hawk covers. 1……….2……..Stryker kicks out! Hawk can't believe it. Stryker again crawls to his feet. Cody Hawk picks him up, looking for the Riptide finisher. In a dastardly move, Stryker nails Cody Hawk with a low blow right in front of Senior Official Joe Kopasz's eyes! The fans boo, as Hawk falls to the ground in pain. Stryker is showing some fire in his eyes, as he picks Hawk up, setting him up next to the trash can. He scoops him up, and slams him into the trash can! Stryker tries for the cover. 1………….2…………Cody Hawk kicks out! Stryker can't believe it, as he pulls out a folding table from outside the ring. The fans actually cheer this, as Stryker gives them a look of surprise. Stryker throws the table into the ring, and Cody Hawk is also getting to his feet. Stryker climbs up to the table, but Cody Hawk follows in pursuit.

Cody Hawk and Stryker battle on the table. Hawk ducks a right hand, and actually hits a kick to the midsection. He follows that by grabbing the throat of Matt Stryker, and tossing him off of the table. Cody Hawk is now standing tall, as he points to Stryker, motioning for the end. Hawk jumps off the table with a huge elbow drop. The elbow hits Stryker right in the sternum. Cody Hawk goes for the pin. 1………2……..Stryker gets the shoulders up just in time! The fans are shocked once again, and it's Hawk this time who has a look of disbelief. Cody Hawk goes to the top rope again, but Stryker actually gets up! Stryker follows Hawk to the top, as the two trade shots above. It's Stryker who takes the advantage with clear shots to the midsection. Stryker lifts Hawk up, and nails a superplex THROUGH THE TABLE! Some HWA faithfuls start the "Holy Shit" chant, and both men are barely moving. Matt Stryker inches over toward the cover. 1…………2…………Hawk kicks out at the last second possible! They lay there for a good twenty seconds as the fans are now split between the two biggest names in HWA.

Stryker stirs to his feet, as he signals for the Stryker Lock. He grabs the leg of Hawk, and moves him in the Trailer Hitch variant. Cody Hawk's eyes bulge open from the pain as Stryker calls for the end. Hawk is frantically trying to make it to the ropes, but Stryker has the hold locked in tight. The crowd starts to sway towards Hawk again. After about a minute into the hold, Hawk manages to drag himself over to the ropes, desperately hanging onto the bottom rope for sanctuary. Stryker picks Cody Hawk up, and lifts him up in the air, looking for the Stryker Driver! This could be over…….no, Hawk lands on his feet! Hawk hits Stryker with a kick to the midsection, and lifts Stryker up on his shoulders! Hawk hits the Death Valley Driver! The DVD! Cody Hawk makes it to his feet, and he points to Stryker, calling for another DVD! Stryker is picked up by Hawk, and lifted into the air for his second Death Valley Driver. Stryker hits the mat hard, and Cody Hawk covers. 1………..2……….3. We have a new HWA Champion!

Winner and NEW HWA Heavweight Champion: Cody Hawk

(67, 62, 72)

Cody Hawk's music hits and he is handed the HWA Championship by Joe Kopasz. Tears stream down his face as Hawk raises the title in celebration. Suddenly, however, he gets blindsided from behind. We see who else but Rory Fox, accompanied by Patrick Black. The crowd boos, as Rory Fox has a big grin on his face as he continues to stomp away.

Suddenly, Stryker is back to his feet. He pushes Rory Fox, and asks him what the hell he's doing here. Fox motions that he wants the title around his waist, and brushes Stryker aside. Stryker is about to leave the ring, when the fans suddenly start chanting for his name. Stryker turns back to see Rory Fox stomping the hell out of the HWA Champion. Stryker suddenly gets back into the ring, turns Rory Fox around, and nails him a huge right hand, sending Fox out of the ring. The crowd cheers as Fox's eyes flare up. Fox and Patrick Black retreat up the ramp, staring at Matt Stryker. Meanwhile, Stryker goes to help Cody Hawk up to his feet, but Hawk wants nothing to do with Stryker.

Shrugging helplessly, Stryker leaves the ring, leaving Cody Hawk to celebrate once again as THE END comes to a close.

Overall Rating: 53

SHORT RESULTS:

Rory Fox d. Pepper Parks

Benjamin Kimera & Necessary Roughness d. Alan the Solution and Brad Smith

WWE RAW QUICK RECAP

SEPTEMBER 19, 2005

The show started off in the ring with Eric Bischoff. Bischoff talks about how Cena somehow managed to hold onto the Title at Unforgiven, due to Kurt Angle not being able to get the job done, just like Chris Jericho wasn't able to get the job done. This draws out Kurt Angle. Angle flipped out about Bischoff saying he couldn't get the job done. Angle says that he had the match won until Eric Bischoff had to get involved. Bischoff says that if Kurt Angle was in control, he wouldn't have had to get involved. They basically have a shouting match, but all that ends when Eric Bischoff says that he doesn't need Kurt's help any more, and that he's found someone who will definitely get the belt off John Cena. Bischoff was about to reveal who this person was when "No Chance" hit, and Vince McMahon came down to the ring. Vince says how he would usually trust Bischoff to decide John Cena's opponent, but not this time. Vince says how he's already signed a match between John Cena and his next challenger, and that Cena will be facing a man who has made his presence felt in both WCW, and WWE. He says Cena will be facing a man that has many credentials... but the game of inquisition ends when Vince mentions that his credentials are having a black belt in karate. Bischoff's jaw drops, as Vince announces John Cena vs Eric Bischoff for the Heavyweight Title at the Homecoming episode of Raw on USA. Vince then left the ring as the Union Underground Raw video played.

OR: 88

And we're back with Vince McMahon hopping into a limo. Then we saw Kurt Angle run up to the limousine and bang on the window. Vince rolled down the window and asked what he could do for Kurt. Kurt asked him if he could have a shot at John Cena's title again, because he didn't get a fair shot last time. Vince turns Kurt down and then mocks Kurt about not following the 3 I's. He wasn't intelligent by joining forces with Bischoff. He hasn't shown an ounce of integrity with all these sneak attacks, and cheap shots. And, he wasn't intense enough last night when John Cena kicked his ass. Vince then said that Kurt could have one more shot at Cena. Kurt started to thank and thank and thank Vince, until Vince said that it wouldn't be a title shot. He said that it was actually a 6 man tag tonight with Kurt, Masters and Snitsky against Cena, HBK, and The Big Show. Vince then rolled up the window, leaving Kurt Angle standing there looking pissed off. He then mutters something about how this is Kurt Angle does what Kurt Angle wants to do. He says hes not Bischoff or Vince's gophers, and that if they don't want him to get a shot at the Title, he's going to bring this show down with him.

OR: 94

Vince McMahon gained overness

After that finished, Ashley Massaro was standing around with resident dingbat Maria. Maria asks what happened to Trish last night, and Ashley tells her that Trish's back was still recovering from her injury. She says that her and Trish will be at Raw next week to make an announcement regarding their involvement at Homecoming.

OR: 75

Ashley Massaro gained overness

We then went to the ring for Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade defending their newly won Tag Team Titles against former champions The Hurricane and Rosey. Murdoch and Cade basically man handled the opposition for the entire match until Rosey got the hot tag in. But a little bit of team work went a long way, resulting in Cade tripping up Rosey, and then both men hitting Rosey with their finisher, the Lone Star Lariat. It's basically a strong clothesline from Murdoch while Cade executes a chop block. The champs retain.

OR: 63 CR: 58 MQ: 69 *1/4

Cade & Murdoch gained overness.

Hurricane & Rosey lost overness.

Tag Team Titles lost image.

Then it was time to go backstage for Carlito with Maria. Carlito was talking about how he didn't actually give up, and how he was reaching for the ropes when his hand accidentally fell. Then Ric Flair cut him off and said how unlike Carlito, Ric Flair plans to be a fighting champion. He plans on restoring the Intercontinental Title to what it was before Carlito made a mockery of it. Night in and night out, Ric Flair says he will defend this title. He says there will not be a single Raw under the Flair reign where this title goes without being defended. Carlito tells him to put his money where his mouth is and defend that title against him tonight. Flair accepts the challenge. Carlito says that that's cool. As Flair starts to walk away, Carlito says But Ric Flair, you're not cool. He takes a bite out of his apple and goes to spit it at the back of Flair's head, but dumbass Maria steps in front of Flair to ask him for his autograph, and gets doused in apple remnants.

OR: 87

Carlito Gained Overness

After that segment finishes Shelton Benjamin comes out for a match with Rob Conway. The match gets going and it's looking pretty damn good. That is, until about five minutes into the match when Kurt Angle comes out and catches both men with Angle Slam's, Ankle Lock's and a plethora of other ass beating moves that leave both men writhing in pain. The match is ruled a no decision.

OR: 73 CR: 71 MQ: 76 **1/4

We're then back in Edge and Lita's locker room. Lita looks like she is sleeping. She has a neck brace on after receiving the Twist of Fate. Edge gets right on topic by ripping on Matt Hardy. He talks about how Matt Hardy preaches about how he will not die. Edge says he knows that Matt won last night, but still, Edge is the one here in the arena tonight while Matt is at home licking his wounds and lying in bed typing up another bitchfest for his internet pals. Edge says that he's talked to Bischoff, and they've come up with the perfect way to settle the score. Edge says that at Raw Homecoming, they will meet one last time, but this time it will be in a Ladder Match with Edge's Money in the Bank on the line. Edge says he put his title shot on the line because that does not matter to him anymoyre, and that what does matter is proving Matt Hardy wrong. He wants to prove that Matt Hardy WILL die and he'll do it at Homecoming.

OR: 77

Tyson Tomko squashed a jobber to keep his ass kicking gimmick going.

OR: 50 CR: 39 MQ: 62 1/4*

Up next is the fourth match of the night. It's Ric Flair defending his Intercontinental Title against former champion Carlito Caribbean Cool in a return match from Unforgiven. This match was back and forth, and showed that Flair can still keep pace with the younger guys. Eventually the finish boiled down to Flair locking on the figure four for the tap out in the middle of the ring, this time leaving Carlito without an excuse.

OR: 67 CR: 67 MQ: 68 *1/4

Again we went backstage, but this time Rob Conway was standing by himself. He said how he's sick and tired of the lack of respect he's being shown. He's being left off the Pay Per View events and now he's having people screw up his matches. Conway said he was going to make sure that he is on Taboo Tuesday in October. He says that the fans will have the opportunity to do things the Con-Way for once in their lives, when they decide who his opponent will be.

OR: 71

Finally it was time for the main event six man tag. It featured John Cena, the Big Show, and Shawn Michaels against Kurt Angle, Gene Snitsky and Chris Masters. This was entertaining for all those in favor of mindless brawling and Big Show's "Shhhhhhh!" chops. But if you were looking for a technical masterpiece, you're going to have to look somewhere else. The finish came when we had one of those spots where everyone hits their finish. All six men were in the ring, but only Angle and Cena were the legal men. It started off with Snitsky trying to hit his pumphandle slam on Cena. But that got broken up by some Sweet Chin Music from HBK. But before HBK could capatilize, he found himself locked in the Masterlock. It looked as if HBK was going to faint, when Big Show gave the old Chokeslam to Masters. Big Show put one foot on the chest of Masters to pin him, but Angle managed to sneak in and somehow hit a 500 Pound Angle Slam. Angle tried climbing back up to his feet, but found himself getting scooped up by John Cena for the FU. Cena made the pin and sealed the victory for his team, as we move one step closer to Raw's Homecoming to the USA Network.

OR: 75 CR: 77 MQ: 73 **

Alright, I'll post the other Raw recap tommorow, and then I'll plunge right into Homecoming Raw.

8TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW NEWS UPDATE

Posted on 30th September 2005

The first matches have been confirmed for JAPW's 8th Anniversary Show! In a rematch from Haas of Pain, Jay Lethal will once again put his JAPW Heavyweight championship on the line against Charlie Haas, as the two biggest names in JAPW today look to settle the score once and for all. However this confrontation will have an added twist, in the anything-goes environment of a STREETFIGHT! Will Haas, the Icon of Jersey All Pro's past, reclaim what he believes to be rightfully his? Or will the avatar of all JAPW stands for today, Jay Lethal, claim his place as the unrivaled face of the promotion? Everything comes to a head on October 22nd in Atlantic City, and the shape of Jersey All Pro will be changed for months to come!

Jackie Gayda was welcomed with open arms when she first debuted in JAPW, but not everybody approved. April Hunter made her return to the promotion with the express intent of eliminating Jackie from its ranks almost as quickly as she had appeared. While April has yet to explain her explicit reasons for her vendetta against the former WWE Tough Enough winner, nonetheless the match has been signed - Jackie Gayda verses April Hunter on October 22nd. There'll certainly be more developments to this feud as the weeks progress, so be sure to catch each episode of JAPW World Wide for all the latest.

Also, none other than Samoa Joe has expressed a desire to work a match on the Anniversary Show. JAPW are more than happy to oblige, and Joe has opened up the oppertunity for another superstar to take up his offer and face him in the ring. Who will step up to face the former ROH Heavyweight and Pure champion?

Confirmed Matches:

JAY LETHAL © vs. CHARLIE HAAS

Streetfight for the JAPW Heavyweight Championship

WORLD WIDE UPDATE

Posted 30th September 2005

In a match set up as a result of last week's backstage altercations, MONSTA MACK will be in singles action against one half of the Tag Team champions, TRENT ACID. The SST have announced that they will be in Mack's corner for this contest. In a volatile situation like that, it can only be a matter of time before everything kicks off, and who would be left standing after that?

RHINO surprised everyone last week when he delivered the Gore to JAPW Heavyweight champion JAY LETHAL. With the title match already signed for the Anniversary Show, what could the Man Beast want with the champ? As usual Monsta Mack will be backstage, attempting to get an explanation from the man in question.

JAPW Light Heavyweight champion AZRIEAL has announced that he will be defending his belt on this episode of World Wide against CLOUDY. Also, DANNY DEMANTO seems set on continuing his ill-fated course of Open Challenges. Plus all the latest news on upcoming JAPW events and the 8th Anniversary Show. WLW TV October 1st 2005

Kyle Mason and Johnny Gold are your announce team

We open with a shot of the Sedalia Convention Center crowd. They look to be upbeat and ready for an exciting night of action.

Mason: Fans if you were not in attendance in Sedalia you missed out on a tremendous show full of twists and turns. We will show it all to you over the coming weeks. However tonight is about the ladies Johnny Gold as all our best female competitors battle it out in two big contests.

Gold: That’s right Mason. Sedalia was one of the biggest nights in the history of this company. It’s burning me up not telling people what happened. Curse that agreement Harley Race had me sign!

Mason: You’ll live Johnny and the fans will have to tune in next week to get more information on those happenings as tonight we have a four way match with the winner taking on Miss Natural for the Ladies title in our main event. Let’s hear from the champion.

A Natural Born Champion

We go backstage to see Miss Natural resting leisurely on a fluffy sofa with an unnamed man standing next to the sofa fanning her.

Natural: So you like me to discuss my match here tonight? It seems rather inconsiderate of WLW to not even tell me who I might face don’t you think? (the man nods) Instead I have to wait back here with baited breath wondering just whom I might have to battle. It will not matter who wins. No one can defeat me. Get me a drink boy.

The man nods and sets the fan down before leaving the room.

Natural: Now listen to me ladies and I really want you to hear this. I am the Ladies champion. I will always be the Ladies Champion. That is just the natural order of things around here. So feel free to have your little fun out there, but when you face me later on there is no question I will come out victorious.

Rating: 46%

Mason: Well Miss Natural seems pretty confident about her chances later Johnny. Maybe too confident.

Gold: Miss Natural has always been real good Mason. She has a stranglehold on that Ladies title and none of these broads we are about to watch can take it from her.

Mason: Please Johnny Gold! Have a little decorum here. We are on Television. Let’s go to the ring for that big four way battle.

Little Jeanne vs. Josie vs. Helena Heavenly vs. Heather Savage for a shot at the WLW Ladies title

We start this match already in progress as Helena whips Jeanne down by her hair. She poses for the crowd who seem none too impressed with her exploits. Jeanne makes her way back up, but gets snapmared back down for her troubles. Helena grabs a chin lock and punishes Jeanne by cutting off her air. Heavenly turns it into a sleeper hold and looks to be going for the win. Jeanne starts fading and it’s obvious she is going out until Savage runs in to make the save.

Gold: Someone needs to control that Heather Savage. She is a wild one Mason!

Mason: They call her Savage for a reason Johnny Gold and I hope she gets to unleash some of that anger on Miss Natural here tonight!

The ref orders Savage back to the corner and Helena chokes away at Jeanne. The official turns around just in time to see Heavenly getting back to her feet. Heavenly moves over to the corner and taunts Heather Savage. Heather takes a swipe at her and Helena laughs before backing away. However this distraction allows Little Jeanne to regain her composure and begin crawling towards Josie! Heavenly turns around and charges towards Josie knocking her off the apron! Jeanne turns and shoots right between Helena’s legs and makes the diving tag to Savage!

Mason: Here comes HEATHER SAVAGE! She is about to unload!

Savage leaps into the ring and hits Heavenly with a series of punches. Heather picks her up and hits a scoop slam! She drops an elbow and covers 1…2…KICKOUT! She picks Helena up and whips her off the ropes…POWERSLAM! The crowd cheers as Heather signals that it’s time to end it. She puts Heavenly in position and executes the SAVAGE BOMB! Hooks the leg 1…2…3!

Rating: 30/23/37

Mason: What a win by Heather Savage! She now moves on for a title shot later tonight Johnny Gold.

Gold: Mason wait a second. Savage was supposed to be worn down. This was a cakewalk for Miss Natural. Heather Savage is fresh!

Mason: (excited) That’s right Johnny. And by the looks of it she wants to tell us all about it right now.

A Savage Beating

Heather Savage grabs the microphone from ringside and after having a bit of trouble getting it turned on addresses the crowd.

Savage: Hey Miss Natural! I bet you thought your opponent tonight was gonna be real hurt huh? Well guess what! I am at FULL STRENGTH! Now get out here so I can give you a SAVAGE BEATING!

Heather drops the microphone as Miss Natural comes walking down the aisle slowly. She hesitantly moves towards the apron and Savage kicks at her, so she backs off. Natural waves it off and turns her back to leave.

Savage: I always knew you were a chicken!

Natural turns around looking furious and charges the ring.

Rating: 46%

Gold: Here we go Mason! Don’t call her a chicken huh? Ha Ha!

Mason: I can’t believe we are having this match right now. But here we go!

Heather Savage vs. Miss Natural (Champion) WLW Ladies Title

Natural jumps up onto the apron as the referee tries to hold Savage back. She tosses him to the side and charges at Miss Natural. Savage grabs her by the hair and brings Natural into the ring over the top rope. The ref gets up and calls for the bell and we are underway. Heather keeps hold of the hair as Natural struggles to get free. Savage takes her and drags her by the hair across the ring! The referee breaks it up and pushes Savage backward allowing Miss Natural to catch a breather.

Mason: Come on referee. Let this one go!

Gold: So you are only a fan of cheating when someone you like does it?

Mason: Well let me…

Savage moves in and Natural catches her with a poke in the eye. Small package 1…2…KICKOUT! Natural goes to a choke and the referee admonishes her. She breaks it, smiles and then goes right back to the choke. Another five count and the hold is broken again. For the next couple minutes Natural keeps it on the mat using nefarious means to damage Savage’s throat.

Mason: What dastardly moves by Miss Natural! Do something referee!

Miss Natural pull Savage up and whips her off the ropes. Drop toe hold by Natural. She attempts an STF and gets a really ugly one applied.

Gold: STF by Miss Natural! She is such a great athlete Kyle Mason.

Mason: She sometimes likes to finish her opponents with this move. Let’s see if she can beat Heather Savage with it.

Savage struggles to escape and some of the crowd gets behind her and start clapping. Heather moves slowly towards the ropes and after a long struggle finally makes them and forces the hold to be broken. Miss Natural gets to her feet and takes some time to gloat to the crowd. This allows Savage to make her way to her feet as well. Natural turns around into a running clothesline. Savage bounces off the ropes and connects with another one. Savage calls for the SAVAGE BOMB!

Mason: Savage bomb coming up Johnny! We could have a new Ladies Champion!

Heather gets Miss Natural up into powerbomb position! Natural drops over her head and down to the mat. Schoolgirl rollup! HUGE HANDFULL OF TIGHTS! 1…2…3!

Rating: 37/31/44

Mason: I can’t believe it! What a rip off!

Gold: Miss Natural retains her title! That was a great victory for her I must say.

Mason: A cheap victory I say!

Miss Natural quickly slides out of the ring and starts moving towards the back celebrating.

Mason: That’s it for us this week. But I can’t leave you hanging fans. Let me give you a little preview of next week. We’ll see you next time!

The Wildman is not alone

We cut to a video which starts with a tight shot of WLW Champion Wildman Wade Chism. He stares into the camera.

Chism: So Gold Exchange. I see that you’re back in town. Not only are you back in town, but that fat loser boss of yours has got you gunning for The Wildman. You boys think you are going to corner me in some back room somewhere or maybe in the ring and then use your numbers to take me out? Well guess what boys. I didn’t come to this dance alone.

Chism smiles as the camera pulls out to reveal his former tag team partner and current WWE superstar TREVOR MURDOCH!

Murdoch: Hey Gold Boys! Bet you though I was gone fer good didn’t cha? Well boys you just aint that lucky. My buddy Wade needed some help and he called me up. That’s bad for you boys. Me and Wade are gonna kick some tail on whoever you bring out. Boys I didn’t come to Sedalia to talk. I came here for a fight so get ready!

Rating: 54%

Both men sneer and raise their fists and the show fades to black.

Overall Card Rating: 41%

T.V. Rating: 0.12

Attendance: 84

Like it has been said, this diary has god-like potential, and even without some of the people posting shows it's proven to be very good. Unfortunately it's hard for me to follow some of this since I've only seen a couple of matches from PWG, nothing from WLW, which leaves only the WWE (Which has nothing posted) and ROH that I can keep up with. Hopefully if this continues then I can get to know some of these characters because the people portraying these feds are very very good writers.

Yeah, my home sustained damage from when South Florida was hit by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina so I've had to put in overtime at work to pay for the repair. Thus leaving little time for diaries and I only have time for my primary diary, the split with Dukes.

- The SmarK Rant for Lights! Camera! Guerrilla! Part II, aired Oct. 01 / 05.

- Still in Hollywood.

- Your hosts are still S.M.P. and I.A.N.

- Opening match: Chris Sabin v. Joey Ryan. Long reversal sequence to kick it off, leading to Sabin hitting a backbreaker and dropkick and sending Ryan out. Sabin fights him on the outside, and back in, Ryan sneak attacks him to take over. Hangman's neckbreaker and we HIT THE CHINLOCK. Sabin flips out of it and gets a series of armdrags, following up with a corner rollup for two. Ryan clotheslines him down and works the neck. Neck vice lasts a while, and he converts it to the Gory Special 2000 for two. Widow's Peak attempt, but Sabin gets a backslide for two. Ryan lariats him down and gets a DDT for two. Duff Drop (second rope swinging neckbreaker) gets two. Flying legdrop misses, and Sabin gets a Hennig necksnap and snapmare for two. Twist of Fate encourages a "You Screwed Lita" chant and a two-count. Jon Ian asks if Matt Hardy would go to PWG when he loses the match to Edge on RAW. Pssht -- as if. The announcers at least admit that this is pre-taped, which becomes abundantly clear when Ryan steals ring announcer Ian's chair and threatens to use it. It turns into a Van Daminator by Sabin, of course. Back in, Sabin with a springboard crossbody for two. Tiger suplex gets two. Rock Bottom attempt is elbowed out of, and Ryan gets a brainbuster for two. Both men's necks are pretty bad, although I'm sure the Japanese audience is wondering what the big deal is. If there is one. Ryan tries a lung blower, but Sabin flips over the top and gets a second tiger suplex, only he can't hold the bridge. Sabin goes up top and gets a flying DDT for two. Cradle Shock try, but Sabin's neck gives out and Ryan goes to knee strikes. He tries a swinging neckbreaker, but Sabin shoves him off and gets a falling headbutt for two. Catatonic finally finishes for Sabin at 12:54, as he wins by attrition. Awesome match. ***1/2

- PROMO OF THE WEEK TIME!

HardKore Kidd: "Last week, on this show, I issued a challenge. You all heard it. I wanted the man himself, Samoa Joe. Now, when I issued this challenge, I also heard all of you talkin'. In fact, it wasn't even a talk -- it was a chant. You. Will. Die. Well, I have news for all of you here. No. I. Won't.

See, you don't just roll over and die when you've been through what I have. Samoa Joe will probably claim he knows how to dish out punishment. Small problem, Joe-boy -- I've faced the absolute best in the business right now and I'm still standing. I took ten minutes of punishment from John Cena -- the holder of the biggest prize wrestling has..."

The crowd boos and starts a chant regarding Vince that sends the censors into a frenzy.

HardKore Kidd: "...deny it all you want, you know it's true. And I am still standing here right now. Joe, you may be a tough guy when you're among the boys of the coasts, but I'm a man. I've played in front of crowds that you can only dream of. I'll be the big time, and you... you'll be exposed for what you are... a two-bit punk."

- WWE = instant heel heat. I love it.

- Chris Bosh tells the winner of tonight's main event to keep the belt warm.

- Frankie Kazarian v. Quicksilver. Nice pop for Kazarian, even though he's a heel. Announcers point out Quicksilver's surprise run to the semis of the Battle of LA. Frankie goes arm-dragging to start before getting a beautiful dropkick and posing. Quicksilver trips him and applies a legbar, but Frankie kicks off and gets a moonsault neckbreaker (kind of an Asai DDT) for two. Quicksilver tries for a bodypress off of a whip, but Kazarian does a few rib busters and a Rock Bottom for two. Wave of the Future finishes quickly at 4:41. **

- Julio Dinero is on his way.

- Main event, "World" Title: Kevin Steen v. Super Dragon. Okay, all the kids are talkin' about this Dragon guy as bein' A-number-1 and all that, but we'll see. Dragon backs Steen into the corner and a chopfest breaks out as Dragon SMOKES Steen with chops. Corner whip and Dragon gets a Johnny Cage-like shadow kick to send Steen to the outside. Dragon follows with a slingshot plancha as the announcers say that's just warmups for Dragon. Uh oh. Steen ducks a kick and rams Dragon into the post. Back in, Steen stomps away at the neck before adding a neckbreaker for two. Moonsault gets two. Steen with a running DDT, but he walks into a BIG FUCKING LARIAT and lands on his head. Of course, this being the indies, that gets two. Dragon with a full nelson, but can't get him over for the Dragon Suplex as Steen goes low and gets a Stunner for two. Steen bulldogs Dragon's head into the turnbuckle as we take a break. We come back with Steen working a ground sleeper, but Dragon picks him up and atomic drops him, following with a roundhouse for two. To the top, and a double foot stomp gets two. Steen ducks a flying karate kick and tosses Dragon, but Dragon skins the cat back in and gets a backslide for two to kick off a pinfall reversal sequence. Steen ends that with an enzuigiri and swanton bomb, but the neck damage is done and it's a double KO. Steen rolls over for two. Piledriver attempt, but Dragon trips him up into the Walls of Jeric... er, Liontamer. Steen makes the ropes. Dragon gets a running start, and both men hit superkicks for another double KO. Dragon up first, and he grabs Steen into a TURNBUCKLE POWERBOMB for two. How was that not the finish? Torture Rack, but Steen slides down the back into a sunset flip for two. Dragon gets a Michinoku Driver and goes up, but Steen catches a 450 rana and nails a Package Piledriver (piledriver with the legs tucked in -- looks pretty nasty) for the pin at 18:41. Okay, Dragon's legit. **** Chris Bosh, of course, cleans house to end the show, lest Steen get any face heat for putting that match on.

The Bottom Line:

Can they do this every week? Steen/Dragon is reason enough to order "L!C!G!" when it comes out on DVD, and I've been told the alternate commentary by two of the wrestlers will make it that much better. Hardkore Kidd was a star these past two weeks, and it would be interesting to see if they build him into a feud with Joe. But the real heat is on Steen and Dragon, and I want a rematch now Now NOW!

I'll also be at the taping on Sunday, so look out for me.
