Metal Bass Solo's

Basically, i'm a bassist in a metal band, and want some good solos to get ideas from to write my own. I already know of Anesthesia and Orion by Metallica, but are there any other metal bands with good bass solos in one of their songs?

Primus. I haven't heard them enough to know if they have bass solos or not, but the bassist has incredible talent.

As a fellow bassist, I can tell you...the best way for me to come up with solos is to just mess around with various scales. I suggest trying that.

While not a metal band, I suggest AFI. Hunter is a wicked bassist and you could certainly find something to use as inspiration from him.

Magnus Rosen has a bass solo on Hammerfall's One Crimson Night album.

It's called "Bass Solo - Magnus Rosen". So it should be easy to find

The best bassist is probably Hookie from New Order, again it's not really metal but the guy plays bass like it's the lead guitar so is great for listening to to try and find ways of making them work for your band.
