Historically,Sting ran in to save team WCW from nWo,but somehow I dont think you are gonna run along those lines-but whatever you do,try to book a possible Stinger heel run better than Russo did.

enjoyed the two smaller shows. on Saturday Night it was good to see Sasaki on the show, and getting a win. I liked Onoo's run there bringing in the Japanese guys so good to see you're doing something there.

I didn't like Public Enemy getting a win though, especially over the Faces of Fear. Largely because Public Enemy were about as talented as my Mum, something which was quickly found out as soon as they left ECW and the booking of Heyman. Meng and the Barbarian were dominating monsters in that period, and played the characters really well. they'd got pretty over and put on much better matches then than people gave them credit for so to see them getting beat by Public Enemy wasn't something I enjoyed at all.

On Main Event I loved seeing Devon Storm on the show, getting a win, rising in over, and hopefully getting a small push because he's been one of my favourite workers outside the WWE over the past couple of years.

Seeing wins for Malenko and Regal on both of those shows was great too. They were both big parts of WCW back then so I was glad not to see them lose to Disco or Duggan.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Sting's choice is?

Monday Nitro comes back from the commercial break with the music of the nWo playing to a mixed reaction from the fans mainly boos, Eric Bischoff makes his way down the ramp way with a big smile on his face. Eric Bischoff stops walking and points to the top of the entry way.... Hollywood Hogan then comes down the ramp way wearing a "Hollywood rules" T-Shirt and he uses the WCW World Championship as a guitar "playing it"..... Hogan poses flexing his muscles and walks down the isle for a bit before Scott Hall comes down the ramp way walking ever so cocky wearing a "Outsiders" shirt with the WCW Tag Team Championship around his waist..... Hall throws his toothpick at the camera as Bischoff and Hogan reach the ring.... Hall does his "I'm scared" finger taunt at the camera before pointing back to the entry way as if he forgot something, Kevin Nash then walks down the entry way wearing a "Outsiders" T-Shirt and around his waist is the WCW Tag Team Championship.... Syxx then makes his way down the isle wearing a nWo T-Shirt with his arms raised in the air. Syxx does his "cool" walk and his little dance on top of the stage.... Nash and Syxx point back to the entry way as the rest of the nWo.... Big Bubba Rogers, Buff Bagwell, Masahiro Chono, Michael Wallstreet, Scott Norton, Ted DiBiase and Vincent make their way down the ramp way also of them with nWo T-Shirts on. Eventually everyone gets inside the ring and Eric Bischoff is handed a microphone.

Eric Bischoff - Tonight is a very big night for the nWo, Tonight is the night where we're going to get a new member!

The fans start booing Eric Bischoff.....

Eric Bischoff - Tonight Sting is going to join the New World Order!

The announcement gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, Most of the fans boo Bischoff while some cheer.

Eric Bischoff - Sting you have thought about it all week and tonight you're going to give us your decision, And Sting we know it'll be the right one! Sting just remember that WCW didn't trust you when you needed them the most! Sting your future is with the New World Order! But Sting we'll give you a few minutes to think over your decision if you still haven't decided to join the nWo...... Last week we once again saw the man, The myth and the legend the only icon in this business Hollywood Hogan beat The Giant to retain the WCW World Championship and after the match ended that nut job known as Rowdy Roddy Piper came down to the ring with a lead pipe! Piper I don't know what you're doing back here but let me assure you that if you want some of the nWo and Hollywood Hogan be a man about it! Piper you're not the icon and you're not the man around here! If I were you I'd leave WCW forever before Hollywood Hogan gets his hands on you!

The fans start booing Bischoff chanting "Piper" over and over again. Eric Bischoff hands Hollywood Hogan the microphone as Hollywood Hogan puts the Championship over his shoulder.

Hollywood Hogan- Piper brother last week you came down to the ring with a lead pipe? Brother you need to realize that Hollywood didn't run away from you.... Hollywood was just tired after giving The Giant a beating brother! Rowdy Piper I thought I taught you a lesson at Starrcade when I beat you around that ring! Piper I showed you who the real icon in this business truly is at Starrcade. Roddy Piper there's only one real icon in this sport and that one is Hollywood brother! I'm the WCW World Champion and you're not brother! Rowdy Roddy Piper I know you got some kind of announcement for tonight and Piper brother..... Whatever your announcement is let it be known that you will not be going anywhere near Hollywood Hogan! I already wrestled you once and there's no need for a rematch! I've beaten you and The Giant in less than a month! Hollywood Hogan is on top of the wrestling world right now and Piper I know you don't want to get in the ring with the man who has the twenty four inch pythons..... The icon in the business, The man who put all these people in this area! Hollywood Hogan is the one and only icon in the business and Piper whether you like it or not..... You will never get a shot at the WCW World Championship again brother!

The fans boo Hollywood Hogan and chant "Hogan sucks" over and over again.... Hollywood Hogan hands the microphone back over to Eric Bischoff.

Eric Bischoff- Piper let it be known that I make the rules around here! And let me assure you that you will never get a rematch with Hollywood Hogan! Never! It doesn't matter if it's for the title or not! You get NO rematches with Hollywood Hogan! And that's final! Now speaking of title matches, Tonight it's team WCW, The sorry team of Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Luger taking on the greatest tag team in the history of pro wrestling The Outsiders for the Tag Team Championship. I thought The Outsiders made themselves' clear when they said they wouldn't put the titles on the line anymore until they got a real challenge! Page and Luger aren't a challenge! Hall and Nash what do you two have to say about tonight's match?

The crowd boos Eric Bischoff for his comments, Bischoff then hands Scott Hall the microphone. Hall looks around at the fans who give him a mixed reaction.

Scott Hall- Hey yo.....

The fans chant "Hey yo" back at Hall who looks at Nash and gives Nash a cocky smile..... Nash nods his head as Hall prepares to talk again....

Scott Hall- Now before "The Bad Guy" gets down to business..... It's survey time! Now how many of you came here tonight to see the nWo?

The fans are divided as some boo and some cheer Scott Hall.....

Scott Hall- And now have many of you came here to see WCW?

The fans cheer and give WCW a huge ovation, Hall though plays it cool and just smiles and does his "I'm scared" finger taunt at fans.

Scott Hall- One more for the good guys! Now tonight me and "Big Sexy" defend the titles against "Flexy Lexy" and the king of white trash "Diamond Dallas Scumbag"! DDP we asked you to join us but you responded by giving us the Diamond Cutter? Well tonight me and Kevin are going to get revenge on you Wolfpac style! And Lex Luger.... Last week you already got hunt down by us and tonight will be no different.... Luger you had the nerve to talk trash about the good name of the nWo? You tried to get Sting to stay in WCW by talking trash about the nWo? Well you found out what happens when you get hunt down by the Wolfpac.... You know me and Kev told WCW we wouldn't defend the belts until we got some real competition, I guess they think Page and Luger are competition? Luger and DDP are nowhere near our level! Tonight everyone is going to see The Outsiders run down DDP and Lex Luger and take those two boys out once and for all!

The fans start booing Scott Hall for his comments, Hall hands the microphone over to "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash.

Kevin Nash- You know, Me and Scott Hall arrived here tonight in this dump of a city expecting to get the night off, But instead we find out we gotta defend the tag team titles against Lex Luger and Diamond Dallas Page.... Tell me why we're defending the titles? Didn't me and Hall dominate every tag team we got in the ring with? If you people think that Page and Luger have a chance in hell tonight against us then each and everyone of you prove my point that people from Kansas City are morons! DDP you turned down the nWo twice this year and tonight you're going to get your butt kicked by The Outsiders! And Lex Luger last week you already got some of us, I know you don't want anymore... So I suggest you get back in the Lex Express and head out of Kansas before "Big Sexy" and "The Bad Guy" wipe the floor with you tonight! Tonight is the last time me and Scott Hall defend these titles, WCW doesn't give us competition so we don't defend the titles until we feel like it!

Nash gives the microphone back over to Eric Bischoff as the fans continue booing the nWo....

Eric Bischoff- Well said guys! Now onto you Sting.... We've given you enough time.... It's time to come down here and give us your decision.... What will it be Sting? WCW or the nWo?

The fans chant "Sting" over and over again as the nWo awaits...... Suddenly the cameras point to the entry way..... Sting's music hits to a huge ovation from the crowd! Sting then walks down the entry way wearing all black with the black and white face paint.... Sting walks down the isle as the nWo look on.... Sting gets into the ring and stares down the New World Order.....

Eric Bischoff- Sting I have been waiting for this for a long time, Sting before you make your decision let it be known that WCW didn't trust you! The nWo will have your back Sting! Remember that when you make your choice! Sting the New World Order is the top organization in the wrestling business! Sting you belong with us! Tell him Hollywood!

Bischoff hands the microphone over to Hollywood Hogan, Sting stares down Hogan.....

Hollywood Hogan- Stinger brother, You need to realize that the nWo is the place for you brother. Sting WCW didn't trust you after all those years you stayed here.... You could have gone up North but you stayed here in WCW.... You stayed and you stayed and for what brother? For them not to trust you after all these loyal years? Brother the nWo trusts you and we trust you to make the right decision! Sting you need the nWo by your side and brother you need Hollywood Hogan by your side too! Sting you have thought long and hard about this so what will it be?

The fans chant for Sting..... Sting stares down Hollywood Hogan and grabs Hogan's microphone! Is Sting going to talk? The fans cheer waiting for Sting to speak.....

Sting- You really think I'm a moron don't you? You think that I would just join the nwo? Just like that? After all you guys put me through? You guys are the one who got a fake Sting running around here attacking my WCW team mates and my best friend! When the nWo debuted it was Hogan, Hall and Nash beating me and Savage down! What in the hell would make you think I'd ever join you guys? You guys are the first ones I want to TAKE OUT! I might not be WCW right now but I'm sure as hell not nWo..... Hogan you and your friends are going to find out soon enough what happens when you cross me! I will take the nWo out one by one soon..... You can bet on that!

The nWo look shocked as Sting heads to the outside..... Sting gets into the crowd and heads off! Monday Nitro goes to a commercial break with the whole nWo looking shocked.

enjoyed the show, i liked most of it and thought the nWo/sting segment was given the time it deserved. only thing i didn't like was sting talking. through this period a huge part of the sting character was his silence. his indifference, never knowing what he was going to do, which side he was on, where he was coming from, and then beginning to tear through the nWo. not that i think you should just mirror what happened in real life, but some things i think they just got right and would be silly to change, and that was one of them. have sting talking like that, saying the things you did in the promo and you just have a guy wearing black and white and looking like eric draven for no reason. something wcw found out later on when they tried to mess around with the sting character too much. he can't be the same old sting, just in a different costume, it just doesn't work.

other than that, liked the show. Can't wait to see Shamrock, liking Piper/Hogan, thought the Dungeon destroying Arn's car was cool and exactly the sort of angle they'd have gone with back then so all in all I thought the show was good and helped build some current storylines well.

enjoyed the show, i liked most of it and thought the nWo/sting segment was given the time it deserved. only thing i didn't like was sting talking. through this period a huge part of the sting character was his silence. his indifference, never knowing what he was going to do, which side he was on, where he was coming from, and then beginning to tear through the nWo. not that i think you should just mirror what happened in real life, but some things i think they just got right and would be silly to change, and that was one of them. have sting talking like that, saying the things you did in the promo and you just have a guy wearing black and white and looking like eric draven for no reason. something wcw found out later on when they tried to mess around with the sting character too much. he can't be the same old sting, just in a different costume, it just doesn't work.

other than that, liked the show. Can't wait to see Shamrock, liking Piper/Hogan, thought the Dungeon destroying Arn's car was cool and exactly the sort of angle they'd have gone with back then so all in all I thought the show was good and helped build some current storylines well.

Yeah I wasn't too sure on Sting talking that much eighter, But I wanted to get his point across and I thought it'd be a good idea if he talked..... I wanted him to talk just once for now though, He won't be doing interviews and stuff like that anytime soon..... I just didn't want to rip off WCW completely but I do want to keep his "dark" character going and that means he can't be talking too much (takes out the mystery of the character)

Anyways glad you liked the rest of the stuff, Hopefully the build up for Superbrawl goes well since it's not that far away....

News update should be posted tomorrow :D

This is great stuff Hewey, Superbrawl is shaping up to be a great event.

I think Mongo will turn on Jarrett to start a feud in which he will lose to go out of WCW for good.

WCW signs new talent, Interested in ECW talent? Plus more

Taken from wrestleworld.com

WCW signs Mark Henry and Rob Van Dam

WCW closed negotiations with Mark Henry this past Monday, Henry who had been fired from the World Wrestling Federation this month ended up signing with World Championship Wrestling before Monday Nitro on Monday night. Mark Henry is currently nursing some injuries he suffered while working in the World Wrestling Federation and it's likely that he'll be in "The Pit" until the fall to get ready for a in ring return. Henry is rumored to be getting around $154,000 for two years during his stay with World Championship Wrestling.

WCW also signed former ECW talent Rob Van Dam this past Monday night, Negotiations between Van Dam and WCW started early in the year with WCW wanting to bring RVD in to help the midcard scene, RVD worked for ECW and was going to get a small push but he chose to go to World Championship Wrestling. Rob Van Dam used to work for WCW in the early 90's as "Robbie V" but left and toured the independent scene for awhile until signing with Extreme Championship Wrestling. Rob Van Dam is staying in "The Pit" for awhile and currently there aren't any plans for him being called up.... What kind of future will Rob Van Dam have in World Championship Wrestling this time around?

*Note..... The prediction contest winners chose these two men to be hired, Blueblood picked Henry while Daniel316 picked RVD... Since I got a really talented worker (RVD) I went out and hired a shitty one (Prince Albert) to even things out.... So yeah I don't think I'll be putting hiring someone as the prize anymore since I got too many workers on the roster already...*

WCW interested in Rick Martel?

World Championship Wrestling has showed some interest in hiring ECW's newest wrestler Rick Martel, Martel stopped wrestling in 1995 and returned to the ring earlier this year.... Martel has already made a big impact on ECW being in the uppermidcard..... Martel's first match back was against fellow Canadian Lance Storm and many said the match was a great one, Martel is in great shape for a man who's 40....... Martel has dedicated himself to making his come back and right now it's said to be going so well that both WWF and WCW are interested in Rick Martel. Martel did wrestle for WWF in the past but never received a push, On the other hand, Martel has never wrestled for WCW but has considered joining World Championship Wrestling..... Could we see Rick Martel in WCW soon?

WCW renews several contracts, Mike Enos, Wallstreet let go

The contracts of David Flair, Robby Rage, Jimmy Hart, Big Bubba Rogers, Psychosis, Kimberly have been been renewed for one more year each except for Kimberly's who's had her contract renewed for two more years.... Mike Enos and Michael Wallstreet on the other hand are different as they have been let go from they're contracts, Enos' contract expires in two months while Wallstreet's expires in three months.

Kensuke Sasaki suffers injury

It is to our understanding that Kensuke Sasaki suffered a ripped bicep during his match with Alex Wright on Monday Nitro. It isn't known how Sasaki suffered the injury but it's expected that he'll be out of action for around six months (The injury happened in January and it said it was seven months, But I got to February so not it's six), We wish Kensuke Sasaki a speedy recovery.

Great Nitro Hewey, i actually liked Sting talking, but you need to make sure it is very limited.

Hope to see RVD V's Jericho, Benoit and Mysterio. That will be cool.

Nice Nitro. Like already mentioned, the segement with Sting speaking was a little off, but it wasn't too bad. The main event seemed good, along with the rest of the show. Love the commentating too, your going a good job there. The PPV is shaping up to be pretty good as well.

Good work.

One more thing, I hate you for signing RVD :( I don't know why, but he just cant fit in WCW for me. Yeah I know you want to change things, but that's not how you should do it. I think keep the roster WCW had, with maybe one or two changes, then just use different storylines and gimmicks, no need to bring in new guys IMO. RVD was a bad mistake IMO, as long as you keep him away from the nWo and main event spots, it can be okay.

You really screwed up not by having Sting talk, but by having Sting talk so much. It's part of his gimmick to not talk, then suddenly explode in action, not words. The ending also didnt feel on either. Hogan comes out looking like a moron. Why would he be scared? Just cause of a no-interference announcement?

Great show but there is one problem, Sting probably shouldn't have talked for reasons already mentioned. But as long as he doesn't anymore, it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I agree, I didn't want to sign RVD but the prediction contest winner picked him for the person to sign, I doubt he'll go anywhere near the nWo and or the main event spots since he's not even that over.

I also agree, I should have just had Sting say "no" or something to that affect, I made him talk too much, About Hogan.... Hogan was a cowardly heel at the time, When he and Piper first feuded he had kept stalling for their match to take place since he was scared of Piper, Plus at Starrcade '96 Hogan couldn't beat Piper and now at SB7 add the no interference rule Hogan would think he's days away from losing the title.....

Great show but there is one problem, Sting probably shouldn't have talked for reasons already mentioned. But as long as he doesn't anymore, it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

Yeah I doubt he'll be talking anytime soon, I just wanted to get his decision out and ended up making him say way too much.....

Thanks for the comments guys, Saturday Night/Main Event should be up later......
