Slipknot Live 9.0

I did a search and couldn't find anything, but I just picked up Slipknot's double live album. And I'm sorry but Corey sings like SHIT. He totally sounds like he's phoning it in and it kinda ruined the album for me. His past live stuff (such as the Distasterpieces DVD) was SOO much better. Anyways, what did y'all think of it?

It's poor to be honest. I saw them at Download this year, minus Clown, and they were utterly brilliant, I was very impressed as I'm not really a big fan of the 'Knot. But I downloaded the live album cause my roommate loves them, and it's shite, really.

Never seen a live album by them, seen them live twice. Brilliant both times.

If they have a bad live DVD, oh well. I know how awesome they are live anyway.

From what I've heard about it, the production in general was pretty shoddy.

Disasterpieces is ace, it's just this live CD, it's balls. They're awesome live, I agree. But Corey's voice is off, it doesn't gel very well, jsut doesn't capture the energy of the live shows. I guess in part cause you're not throwing yourself around with a few thousand people and the band themselves.

I saw them without the DJ, which was appparently the first time they had ever performed live (since they had nine members) without one of them.

I guess it's just a matter of opinion really. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the new album and was super excited for the live ablum but either Corey kinda phoned it in or else he tried to change his voice a little too much or tried to put too much of a spin on the vocals and I just didn't like the outcome :\ It's not horrible to listen to by any stretch of the imagination, I just expected more I guess.
