Champions Head Into Vengeance Looking Strong

With this being the last RAW before Vengeance both Heavyweight Champions who will be defending their titles at Vengeance were to team together once again this time to face Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels. Before this night came to an end though there were a lot of more things going on between this two champions and feuds. First off, early in the night Chris Jericho had an interview and said that he will be the next WWE Heavyweight Champion as he will have the most rest as he isn’t wrestling tonight. Jericho said that he already talked with Bischoff and he said it was alright. So Jericho finished up by saying all he has to do is sit on his ass and watch a good tag team match. Then a little bit later in the night HBK and Orton had an interview together saying that coming out of Vengeance there will be two new Heavyweight Champions as Orton will be wearing the WWE Heavyweight gold and HBK will be wearing the World Heavyweight gold. The interview was then interrupted by the champions and said that none of this was going to happen and they will show them why tonight. Finally the night was coming to an end and the tag team match was ready to start. Batista and Cena once again teamed great together and took down the tough team on HBK and Orton. The two Heavyweight Champions kept battling with HBK and Orton, but they wouldn’t give up unless they were victorious. The match came to a finish when Cena gave Orton an FU on top of HBK. Cena then pinned Orton and got the victory for him and Batista. After the match HBK asked for Batista’s help to get up, but Batista just smiled and gave HBK a thumbs up and said nice try. Before RAW ended though, Chris Jericho came out on the ramp and made the taunt with showing that gold will be around his waist and Cena screamed, “You want some! Come get some!” Jericho then faked a charge to the ring and then turned around and went backstage again to end RAW.

This wasn’t all the action happening on RAW though, as there were still much more to come earlier in the night. As a matter of fact, the match that started this great RAW off was Kane against Edge in the Cage Match. Before the match started Edge was in the ring first and said that no matter what Kane does, he will not get his girl back as Lita is with him and that is final. Then all of a sudden we hear from the sound system, “OHH YEA!!!” Edge doesn’t believe it as its Matt Hardy’s music, but he is nowhere to be found! Then Kane comes out and says that he doesn’t care about Lita anymore as all he wants to do is beat the living hell out of Edge for stealing Lita from him. Edge just laughed and then attacked to start the match. This match was a great one and a vicious one to start off the night. Kane just continually threw Edge into the steel cage. The ending was coming near and both men were about equal as in energy wise and no one was in total control. Once again on the sound system we hear, “OHH YEA!!!” Kane gets distracted as does the ref, but Edge doesn’t as he already saw before that Hardy didn’t come out the first time. So Edge nailed Kane with a low blow and then rolled him up with the tights. The ref counted three and Edge stole one going into Vengeance.

Also on RAW was the draft lottery continuing as RAW got their third draft pick. Eric Bischoff was in the ring with Simon Dean and Maven by his side ready to face the next draft pick. Bischoff said Mysterio showed what he was really worth last week and so let’s see if the next pick is worth it. All of a sudden out came the Big Show and Bischoff is amazed as the Simon System is scared as hell. Show gets in the ring and asks Bischoff to leave so he can take care of the Simon System. The match was really meant to be a disadvantage for the one man, but since the one man doubled the two men it was like even or even an advantage for Show. Big Show made quick work of the Simon System and quickly hit a Double Chokeslam on them and covered them for the victory! Bischoff wasn’t satisfied though, and yelled down to the Heart Throbs. They came down with chairs in their hands. Both got in the ring and Romeo was in front of Show and Antonio was behind Show. They both went to hit him with chairs, but only Antonio connected as Big Show hit Romeo with a Big Boot! Then down ran Rey Mysterio to aid Big Show and attacked Romeo and quickly threw him out of the ring. The only two men standing were the Big Show and Rey Mysterio! Bischoff then got on the mic once again and said that both men impressed him very much, but he said in order to stay on RAW they will have to team together and win a match at Vengeance. Show and Mysterio liked that and then Bischoff said that match will also be a Handicap Match as they will face the Heart Throbs and the Simon System. Show and Mysterio didn’t care as they just thought it would be some easy work.

Last week on RAW Muhammad Hassan tried to help Daivari defeat one of two men he is facing at Vengeance who was the Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin with help from Sabu, but that didn’t work out and so Hassan fired Sabu. Now this week Daivari was set to face Hassan’s other opponent at Vengeance who is Christian. Hassan said that tonight he will show who the real man is to help out him win the Intercontinental Title! During the match between Christian and Daviari, Christian was just dominating and was about to finish off Daivari until Hassan got on the mic and said that here is the man to help him, “THE IRON SHEIK!!!” Sheik slowly got down to the ring, but by the time he got down to the ring Christian already hit the Unprettier on Daivari and covered him and won the match. After the match Hassan got in the ring and knocked The Iron Shiek to the mat and locked in the Camel Clutch! Hassan then told Shiek that he was fired from Hassan Services and said that come Vengeance he will have his final man do the work as he won’t even be Arab-American! He will be an American on the side of his!

“Legend Killer” Rob Conway also had which might have been his last match in the WWE as if he lost he was fired. Conway made his way down to the ring during a portion of RAW and said that last week Randy Orton changed his life as Orton told him that he is the new Legend Killer. Conway said that he thought about it over the week and said it’s a great idea and a great way to make his way to the top. So Conway called down any Legend to face the Legend Killer. Then for some reason down came Eugene? Eugene got in the ring and on the mic and told Conway that he likes Legend’s. Conway asked Eugene what he was doing down in the ring. Eugene answered back because he is a Legend just like Hulk Hogan! Conway couldn’t believe it, but said that just for tonight he will pretend that Eugene is a legend and his Legend Killing ends tonight. This match was actually a very good match-up, but it was a little short. Conway almost lost the match as Eugene hit a Big Boot on him and went for the cover, but Conway kicked out. Conway then was pissed off and went to get a chair, but Eugene just hit another Big Boot on him this time with the chair in his face. Eugene then bounced off the ropes looking for the Leg Drop that Hogan does, but Conway rolled out of the way. Conway then quickly picked Eugene up and hit the for the victory. After the match Conway said that Eugene was just too easy for him and that at Vengeance he will make an Open Challenge to any Legend for him to kill!

Last week, Chris Benoit got drafted over to Smackdown! and he faced and defeated JBL just like Triple H did when he got drafted over. After Benoit won, he went and challenged Triple H to a match next week which is tonight. Triple H accepted the challenge and also said that he is a changed man and that he is the Good Game. What is all this about?

Tonight the draft lottery continues as this will be the last week that only a single man is drafted over to one brand. So far Smackdown! has gotten Triple H and Chris Benoit which are huge pickups. Let’s see if their good pickups can continue.

Also last week, Eddie Guerrero found a partner to face MNM for the Tag Titles and that was the return of The Undertaker. Eddie Guerrero didn’t care about the titles though, as he turned on Taker and beat him down letting MNM win the match. Now tonight on Smackdown! it will be a huge Handicap Match as Eddie Guerrero teams up with MNM to face The Undertaker by himself.

Orlando Jordan is set to face Booker T and Carlito at Great American Bash with his United States Title on the line, but that is if he makes it their still as Champion. Jordan has no doubt about that he still will be Champ. Tonight Jordan is making an Open Challenge to any man who wants a shot at his US Title.

Is Triple H for real with the Good Game? Who will be drafted next to Smackdown!? What will The Undertaker do to try and even the odds? Who will Orlando Jordan face with his US Title on the line?

The F Squared Effect

This week on Smackdown! as a matter a fact the Triple H vs. Chris Benoit wasn’t the biggest thing to happen on Smackdown! The main event of the night was the 3 on 1 Handicap Match between MNM and Eddie Guerrero to face The Undertaker. The new formed tag team of the Friendly Freaks also known as F Squared of John Heidenreich and Matt Morgan came and helped out The Undertaker in this match to a victory. This all started when earlier in the night F Squared were walking around backstage when they walked pass the dressing room of MNM. The door was open and overheard their conversation with Eddie Guerrero where as Melina was telling the three men what to do. Melina explained that she wants make The Undertaker retire so she told the three men to do whatever they can to get rid of him. She explained by saying use any weapons possible to get rid of him as she didn’t care if they lost the match by DQ. Then later that night F Squared bumped into The Undertaker and told him exactly what Melina said. The Undertaker didn’t respond right away, but when he did he told the two monsters that don’t worry because soon enough all three men will rest in peace. Finally the time came as where the Handicap Match was ready to start. The match started just like a normal match. The first five minutes The Undertaker was looking good. As a matter of fact, too good for Melina. Melina then told her boys of MNM to get chairs and they both did, but the ref took both chairs away. Melina didn’t like what she saw so she got on the apron and then hit the ref with a low blow. Once the ref went down The Undertaker’s chances of winning was slim-to-none. Melina then handed MNM their tag titles and smashed Taker with them. Eddie Guerrero then got a chair and cracked it over Taker’s back three times while he was down on the mat. Then all of a sudden down came the Friendly Freaks and they got in the ring and cleared house. They took all three men out in a matter of ten seconds. They then went after Melina, but MNM was there to save her, but then F Squared came back and both man hit a Powerbomb on the member of MNM that attacked him. They then took Eddie Guerrero and hit a Double Powerbomb! They then helped up The Undertaker and the ref and then left the ring. They grabbed Melina so she can just watch the rest of the match. Taker was up and MNM got up and Taker hit a Double Chokeslam on both men! Then Taker picked up Eddie and nailed him with a Tombstone and covered him and The Undertaker amazingly overcame the odds and won the 3 on 1 Handicap Match!

The other big match of the night was Triple H vs. Chris Benoit. That match was set to be the main event until Triple H changed it when he came out to start off Smackdown! all ready for the match. He said that he was feeling ready to go, he was feeling good. Triple H said that he wanted to have his match now as he wants as he saw someone he knows very well backstage and wants to show him wrestle now. He called down Benoit and the two men both had their match to start Smackdown! The two men put on a great 15 minute match, but nothing to special as they didn’t want to waste too much on free tv. The men went back and forth with Triple H always having a smile on his face during the match. Coming down to the finish, Triple H was almost about to lose as Benoit just flew and hit Triple H with the Flying Headbutt! Benoit covered Triple H, but the Game was just barley able to kick out. Benoit then went and locked in the Crossface, but right before Triple H was about to tap, from the sound system you heard a big WOOOOOO!!!! It was Ric Flair’s theme music! Benoit broke the hold and Ric Flair came down to the ring with his tights on like he was ready for a match. Benoit was confused as Flair is on RAW, but he came to confront him. Flair got on the apron and Benoit got in his face. They exchanged words and then Flair poked Benoit in the eyes and the ref did nothing about it. Triple H was then just getting up and saw Flair and had a sadistic smile on his face and then hit the Pedigree on Benoit and covered him to win the match. After the match was over Triple H got on the mic and Flair got in the ring. Triple H just laughed about the Good Game and said that it could never happen. He then said that Flair was the third draft pick to Smackdown! He told Flair to get him the sledgehammer and that is what Flair did. Flair then got Benoit up and Triple H clocked Benoit with the sledgehammer busting him open!

Triple H and Ric Flair then stayed in the ring though, and said it wouldn’t be good if Flair didn’t have a match as he is a newcomer to Smackdown! So Triple H called down anyone to face Flair and down came Scotty 2 Hotty! S2H got in the ring looking scared as hell. The bell rang and Triple H just attacked him with a shot with the sledgehammer. This made Scotty 2 Hotty win by DQ. Flair then just laid a beat down on S2H until him and the Game thought it was enough and then headed backstage laughing and smiling.

Before the main event happened Orlando Jordan came out and said come Great American Bash he is going to beat Booker T and Carlito and show that he is the best United States Champion EVER! Orlando Jordan said he will give a little secret on what he will do to Booker and Carlito at GAB when he faces anyone in an Open Challenge for his US Title. Then down came Hardcore Holly and Holly said that he could say goodbye to his belt because he was winning it tonight! Orlando Jordan was looking a little nervous as he might lose his title, but he did put on a good match against Holly. Both men were even through the whole match. OJ tried to cheat at the end to gain the extra hand by hitting a low blow on Holly, but Holly moved out of the way and then hit the Alabama Slam on Jordan! Holly then covered him OJ and the ref counted three even though Jordan clearly kicked out! Holly was the new US Champion supposedly and OJ was going crazy. Teddy Long then came down to the ring and said that the ref messed up and since there isn’t enough time to have a rematch now, next week Orlando Jordan will have chance to win back his gold against Hardcore Holly as the two men will have a rematch. After Jordan heard that he was happy and then hit a low blow on Holly and left the ring with Holly down.

John Bradshaw Layfield had a big promo announcing that next week there will be a huge Fatal Four Way Elimination Match with the winner becoming the new Smackdow! Heavyweight Champion since RAW has a hold of both Heavyweight Titles. JBL said that he talked to Teddy Long about it and said that three of the four men were Triple H, Chris Benoit and himself, JBL. JBL then said that the fourth and final man is going to be the winner of the match between the two men drafted over to Smackdown! next week! JBL ended the promo by saying after next week’s Smackdown! everyone will witness the first ever Smackdown! Heavyweight Champion as John Bradshaw Layfield.

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

Muhammad Hassan defeated Shelton Benjamin and Christian

Muhammad Hassan finally got done what he was trying to do for the past couple months and that was winning WWE Gold. It was all because of one man and that man wasn’t apart of the match and it wasn’t Hassan’s manager, Daivari. It was Hassan finally hope to help him win gold and that man was Goldberg as he came out and Speared Benjamin and won the match for Hassan to make the Arab-American capture his first ever title in the WWE.

The match started off very slowly with everyman trying to team up on someone locking in submissions. Most of the time it was teaming up on Hassan until Christian turned his back on Benjamin and attacked him. Once this happened the pace picked up a little bit and Hassan was able to fight back and take advantage early as he threw Benjamin out of the ring and worked on Christian.

Once Benjamin could get away from Daivari on the outside and back in the ring he went right for Hassan and hit a Chop Block on him. The Champion that showed exactly why he was the Champ as he totally cleared house and hit both men with a Tornado DDT making them roll out of the ring and regain some energy.

Later in the match when the finish was coming near, Benjamin once again took control when he reversed the Unprettier by Christian and nailed him with a Superkick! That made Christian fly over the top rope and out of the ring. Benjamin then went and Superkicked Hassan and covered, but Daivari was able to break up the pin by pulling out the ref. The ref hit hard on the ground on the outside so Daivari then called to the back!

Down came running a man in a beanie and as a matter of fact, it was GOLDBERG!!! He got near the ring and tossed Christian into the crowd. He then got in the ring and stalked Benjamin and nailed him with a Spear!!! Goldberg then slid out of the ring and rolled the ref back in. We then see Hassan crawl over towards Benjamin and drape his arm over him and the ref counted the three to crown Muhammad Hassan the new Intercontinental Champion all because of Goldberg!

That is One Big Show

4 ON 2 HANDICAP MATCH
Big Show and Rey Mysterio defeated Simon System/Heart Throbs

Even though the Simon System and Heart Throbs had the number advantage in this match, the odds weren’t on their side still. With the Big Show in the other corner against them, that is all the four guys needed to get taken down. The big thing about this match is not what happened in the match, but what Big Show did to Rey Mysterio after the match which was very shocking.

The match got kicked off when the four men threw Mysterio out of the ring and then in came Big Show and just took apart of all four men. After Show kept on pounding on each man they still got up and took more of a beating. Big Show finally got tired and tagged in Rey.

Once Rey got in, it was a little different story as Simon System teamed up on him and Mysterio couldn’t do anything about it. Rey was getting double teamed for a good few minutes until finally he could tag in the monster of Big Show.

Finally, when Show got in, Simon System charged at him and he nailed a Double Clothesline on both men. Then the Heart Throbs charged at him and Show did the same. Big Show then greeted Simon System with a Double Chokeslam and next was the Heart Throbs. Big Show finally put the match away when he pinned all four men for the win.

After the match though was when most of the amazing action happened. After the bell rung for the victory, Rey got in the ring and jumped on Big Show’s back in celebration. Show didn’t know though and thought it was an attack and threw him off. He then realized it was Rey, but didn’t care and continued the beat down! Show then got a chair in the ring and almost took off Rey’s head a few times and finally finished him off when Rey’s head smacked onto a chair from a Big Show Chokeslam. It has seemed that he have witnessed a new Big Show who is meaner and tougher then ever.

Vader Meets the New Legend Killer

LEGEND KILLING OPEN MATCH
“Legend Killer” Rob Conway defeated Vader

The new Legend Killer of Rob Conway met his first real legend who was over 450 pounds in Big Van Vader. Once Conway saw who he was facing he was nervous and was wondering if he would regret becoming the new Legend Killer. But once he noticed how out of shape Vader was, he just embarrassed Vader.

The match kicked off with Conway a little intimidated as it was a huge size advantage for him and Vader took control pretty early. Vader was dominating the first whole minute, but once Conway was able to get to his feet he was just way to fast for Vader and he just had so much more energy then him.

Conway just hit fast paced moves over and over again until Vader was really done and dead tired. Vader almost came back as he went for a Powerbomb on Conway, but Conway rolled through it and almost won the match with a roll-up.

This pretty bad match came to an end when Conway was making fun of Vader of his size and Vader charged at Conway. The thing was though, that Vader ran right into the Conway Cutter (RKO) and Vader was done for. Conway covered Vader and celebrated after the match for his first victory over a legend.

Super Heroes…And Beyond

TRIPLE THREAT ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH
World Tag Team Titles
Super Heroes defeated Gene Snitsky/Tyson Tomko and Foreign Society

The Super Heroes have been mainly overpowering mainly every team they face and tonight they overpowered the two teams they had to face. Foreign Society and Snitsky/Tomko were no match for the Super Heroes as they just seem too good to lose the titles. The Super Heroes did have a little bit of a tough challenge though, as this match was announced as an Elimination Match before it started.

Early on in the match, Snitsky/Tomko were dominating as they were so much bigger then everyone in the match. Finally when the Super Heroes and Foreign Society worked together, they could take down Snitsky/Tomko. After the double teamed finished and when they got back up, they wanted revenge and that lead to the first elimination.

Snitsky/Tomko just took the Champs and tossed them out of the ring. They then went for Foreign Society and that plan worked. They totally dominated the two Foreigners and quickly got them out of the match. It happened when Snitsky and Tomko both hit a thunderous Big Boot on both Regal and Tajiri.

It was now down to the Champs and Snitsky/Tomko. Once the Champs got back in the ring, it was their match to win. Snitsky or Tomko couldn’t hit anything as the Super Heroes were just reversing everything possible. Finally the Super Heroes put them away. This happened when Rosey hit Snitsky with the Super Hero Slam (Over the Shoulder) and Hurricane hit Tomko with a Shining Wizard. After those two moves it was all over and the Super Heroes remained World Tag Team Champions.

Matt “FREAKIN” Hardy

NO DQ MATCH
Kane defeated Edge

Not counting the two Heavyweight Title Matches, this match was no doubt the match of the night. Both men of Kane and Edge wouldn’t give up without a victory. This time it was Kane’s turn and got what he wanted which was a victory over Edge when this time Matt Hardy’s music hit and he really came down to the ring and attacked Edge to lead Kane to a victory.

This match got kicked off when Edge started things off by getting a Singapore Cane. He went to hit Kane with it and he did three consecutive times until Kane finally nailed Edge with a Big Boot. Kane then dominated at this point without using any weapons, just because of his size advantage.

A little later on in the match Edge came back when he kicked Kane in the balls after Kane was looking for a Chokeslam. Edge then got a chair in the action and clocked it over Kane’s head. Edge thought he was in control now, but Kane just sat right back up. No matter what Edge did, Kane just sat back up and got up and went to attack Edge.

Finally, Kane didn’t sit back up after Edge hit the Edgecution followed up by a single man Conchairto! Edge then was rolling and smiled at Lita as Kane didn’t sit back up. Edge then was setting up for a Spear and Kane got up and Edge connected! Edge went crazy thinking he has put Kane away. Right before Edge went to cover though, everyone heard from the sound system, “OOOOOOOOHHHHH YEEEEAAAAAA!!!!!”

Edge just laughed as he thought it was the same thing from RAW, but this time out came MATT HARDY! The crowd erupted and so did Edge. Hardy ran down to the ring and slid in. Hardy and Edge went back and forth with punches until Hardy got the upper hand and hit the Twist of Fate on Edge. Hardy then helped up Kane and Kane nailed Edge with a Chokeslam and covered Edge for the victory!

After the match Kane left the ring, but Matt Hardy wasn’t done. He got Edge up and hit another Twist of Fate! He then got a mic and made his way up the ramp. He was talking while he backpedaled up. Hardy said that he will do whatever he has to so that he can be in the WWE again and make Edge and Lita’s life a whole lot worse. Hardy then finished by saying, “See ya tomorrow on RAW! It’s Us vs. Them!” With Hardy pointing to the crowd for “us” and pointing and Edge and Lita for “them”. Hardy then dropped the mic and did his V1 signal.

Randy Orton defeated John Cena and Chris Jericho

John Cena fulfilled his destiny at Wrestlemania 21 this year when he defeated John Bradshaw Layfield. Cena only defended his title one other time and that was against JBL at Judgment and he made JBL say “I Quit”. Then Cena was drafted to RAW and now he is at Vengeance making his first ever title defense on a RAW PPV where he has to face not one, but two of the best on RAW. And after this match started it seemed as Cena’s destiny had just been washed down the drain.

The match got underway with Orton and Jericho surrounding the Champ and Cena wasn’t sure what to do as he was never in this situation before. Orton and Jericho went and attacked, but Cena showed why he was the Champ and fought off both men. After a short battle Cena was the only one standing. Then Jericho got up and charged at Cena, but Cena ducked down and flipped Jericho out of the ring. Orton then got up and did the same, but Cena also did the same and this made the Champ standing by himself in the ring with the two challengers down on the outside after the first few minutes past in this match.

A little bit later when Jericho and Orton were back up and in the ring they went for the double team again and this time it worked. They just stomped away at the champ and Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho early on in the match. Orton then shocked some people a bit by going up high and jumped off nailing Jericho with a Dropkick while he had the Walls of Jericho locked in on Cena. This lead to Orton the only man standing after about eight minutes have past in the match.

At the halfway point, the Champ was back and running the table by taking out Orton with a huge Spinebuster and then the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena then took out Jericho with the Throwback and then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on him. Cena was going crazy getting the crowd on their feet. But Cena then turned around and Orton was up and Orton nailed Cena with an RKO! Orton then bent over in Cena’s face and gave him the “You Can’t See Me” taunt that Cena always does. But Jericho then got up and while Orton was bent over Jericho nailed him with a bulldog and then ran up to the ropes and hit the Lionsault! Jericho then got up and he was the only man up at this point.

Coming down to the end of the match Jericho was still in control and just nailed Orton out of the ring with a Superkick! He then picked up Cena and hit the Breakdown! It seemed as this finish was coming near for Cena, but Jericho made a dumb move and didn’t cover Cena! Instead, Jericho picked up Cena and lifted him onto his shoulders. Jericho screamed out FU and went for Cena’s finisher, but Cena fought out of it and then lifted up Jericho and actually hit the FU!

Jericho was down on the mat and Orton was trying to recover on the outside and Cena was catching his breath. Orton then slid in the ring as Cena was about to cover Jericho. Before Cena did he turned around and Orton was right there and nailed an RKO on Cena! Orton covered, but no! Cena kicked out! No one believed it. Orton then got up and was calling for another one, but Jericho got up and Orton hit one on him making him roll out of the ring. Cena was then up and Orton backed into Cena who lifted him up and went for the FU! Orton was fighting out of it and finally did and then quickly hit the RKO! Orton then covered Cena and the ref counted the three and we have a NEW CHAMPION!

After the match Orton couldn’t believe it! He grabbed the belt and hugged it in the corner. He then gave it a kiss and celebrated. He got some pops, but once he helped up Cena the crowd erupted again and cheered greatly for both men. Jericho just walked up the ramp pissed off at both men. Orton and Cena then hugged and right before they left the ring, Cena raised Orton’s hand with the belt in hand as Orton was once again Back on Top.

HELL IN A CALL MATCH

Batista defeated Shawn Michaels

In a match that was supposed to be The Animal vs. The Game III was changed to The Animal vs. The Showstopper as Triple H was drafted over to Smackdown! HBK took Triple H’s spot for one reason and that was to become a World Champion once again. As we saw last match we saw John Cena’s destiny get flushed down to drain, it was a little bit different of a story for Batista and his destiny.

As Shawn Michaels music hit, the crowd gave him some cheap pops, but mainly heat as the gruesome structure of the Hell in a Cell came down to the ring. The Champ then came down to a huge pop and HBK did seem a little intimidated, but HBK did have the advantage as he has been in this match before. Once the door was shut and locked the match was ready to get underway. HBK faked a handshake and then attacked The Animal to get this match going.

It started with that and it went on with HBK staying on the attack just punching and kicking away at Batista until he finally fell to the mat. HBK then just stomped away until Batista rolled out of the ring. HBK didn’t waste anytime though, as he just jumped and flew out of the ring bringing down The Animal with a Crossbody. Both came so close to nailing into the Cell. Once both men were on the outside, it was now time to use the Cell as a body punisher.

They were on the outside for a good amount of time and both men got their bodies battered. HBK started off using the cell by trying to ram Batista’s face onto it, but Batista wouldn’t let it happen at this point in the match or at any point as Batista was just too powerful for HBK. Batista then turned it around and smashed Michaels face into the Cell three consecutive times until he was down on the outside. Batista was then getting serious and started kicking away at cell door so he could get out.

Finally, Batista broke the chain after he used the steel steps. Once Batista was on the outside though, HBK was up and ran and jumped on Batista sending him to the ground and HBK started punching away. HBK then got on the ring barrier and jumped off nailing Batista with an Elbow Drop! HBK covered Batista, but Batista was able to kick out!

HBK then picked up Batista and threw him into the cell back first and then Batista backed up towards the announcers table and HBK nailed a Sweet Chin Music on Batista making him laid out on the table! Michaels then went back into the cell and grabbed a ladder! He set it up away from the announcer’s table and climbed to the top and no one knew what he was doing. HBK then got to the top of the ladder and then hoped on top of the Cell! HBK made his way to the end of the cell where the announcer’s table was and jumped off! The crowd was expecting this at all and HBK crashed all the way down through the table and through Batista!!! The crowd went berserk chanting, “HOLY SHIT!”

For a whole five freaking minutes these to men were down and laid out on the outside of the cell. The ref continuously checked both men to see if they were okay and see if they continue. Both men wouldn’t give up though, and everyone just had to wait until they got up.

Finally, Batista started to get to his knees and got up HBK. Batista made his way back to the cell door with HBK and headed back into the ring. Batista went and covered HBK even though Batista was the one taking the Elbow Drop, it affected HBK more since it was from so high up. Amazingly HBK kicked out and the match continued as it just hit the twenty minute mark.

HBK then got up and charged at Batista, but Batista flipped HBK out of the ring. Batista headed to the outside too and picked up HBK. HBK then all of a sudden got another boost on energy and tossed Batista again back first into the cell, but Batista came back with taking HBK’s head and smashing into the cell again three consecutive times and this time busting open Michaels. Batista then picked up HBK and rolled him into the ring and Batista went and covered HBK, but he just barley kicked out! Batista didn’t know what to do expect to catch his breath in the corner.

While Batista was catching his breath, HBK nipped up! The crowd couldn’t believe it! Batista then turned around and HBK was still pounding on the mat with his foot. He then lashed out at Batista and connected with the Sweet Chin Music! New Champion, New Champion, NO!!! Batista kicked out somehow. The crowd loved it! HBK couldn’t believe it and got back up into the corner. HBK once again smacked his foot on the mat over and over again. Batista then got back and again HBK lashed out at him with the Sweet Chin Music and…

Batista ducked and HBK missed his target! HBK then turned around and Batista kicked him in the gut and lifted up HBK and hit the Batista Bomb!!! Batista then rolled up Michaels and the ref counted the three as Batista survived the Cell as he was still World Heavyweight Champion!

After the match Batista got up and celebrated in each corner! The ref then handed him the belt and he kneeled down with it holding it tight. HBK then got up slowly and walked over to Batista and gave him a congratulatory hug. Just like Orton it has seemed as if HBK has also turned face. HBK got Batista to his feet and told him to celebrate on the top. Batista left the ring and climbed up the cell. Batista got to the top and held up his arms with the World Heavyweight Title in one hand. He roared and the PPV came to an end with Batista victorious once again.

Fallout From Vengeance

Vengeance is over and we a new WWE Heavyweight Champion. Randy Orton defeated both Chris Jericho and Randy Orton to get his first run as the WWE Champion. His last run was at the World Champ, but it wasn’t as long. Tonight, Orton puts up his title right away. With only one night after he won it he might lose it as he faces Chris Jericho, but the good news is that John Cena is the Special Guest Referee and he is on Orton’s side and still has hatred for Jericho.

Batista walked out of Vengeance battered up, but still World Heavyweight Champion. HBK congratulated the Champ right after the match and now it seems as if no one is after Batista and his title right now. Who is next for his title belt?

Also last night, Kane defeated Edge in a No DQ Match when Matt Hardy amazingly appeared even though he isn’t contracted with the WWE to help Kane win the match. Now again Kane and Edge will square off and this time in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. It seems as if Kane doesn’t want any more of Edge and only Hardy does, but these two men just keep on going at it.

Will John Cena call the match right down the middle or will he be against Jericho? Who is next for Batista? Will Matt Hardy appear once again like he said he would at Vengeance?

A New Alliance?

It was Randy Orton's first night ever as WWE Heavyweight Champion and he sure made it a good one. The night started off with John Cena coming down to the ring and calling out the man who pinned him at Vengeance who is now the new Champion Randy Orton. Orton came down and Cena congratulated Orton on winning the belt and said he better get a shot at him with the belt sometime soon. Cena then said before Orton said anything else he wanted to give him something and that something was the old WWE Heavyweight Title which was used before Cena made a new one. Orton couldn’t believe it and Cena then got it out of a bag and handed it to him. Orton was in shock, but then went on. Orton totally agreed with him with a rematch later down the line and the talking continued until down came Chris Jericho. Jericho got in the ring and told Orton that he better say goodbye to his title because he was losing later tonight and no one can stop him, boot even John Cena who is the special guest referee. Before this little confrontation ended Jericho said that Orton will have an even shorter run as Champ then his first one. Orton wasn't happy with those words and attacked Jericho, but Cena broke them up so they can wait until later in the night. Finally the main event was ready to start and Cena said he would be a fair ref if no one bother's him. This was a great match with both men going at it with full force. Everyone still knew there was going to still be some heat between Jericho and Cena even if nothing happened and that is exactly what happened. But coming down to the end of the match Jericho argued with Cena saying that his count is to slow. Jericho then attacked Cena, but it wound up with Cena giving Jericho the FU. Orton then hit the RKO on Jericho when he got up and made his first ever title defense as the WWE Heavyweight Champion.

The night begins with the first action being Goldberg facing Matt Striker in his return match. Before the match Goldberg came out with Hassan and they said they will be going their separate ways, but will still always be together. Goldberg then made an Open Challenge to anyone and down came Matt Striker which the crowd had no clue was. Goldberg destroyed Striker in about a minute with the Spear and Jackhammer. It has seemed as if Goldberg is ready to fight anyone and just take care of his business.

After this match we saw Shelton Benjamin backstage and he went into Eric Bischoff's office and asked for a rematch for his IC Title. Bischoff said he couldn't do that, but he could give him a shot at the Tag Titles if he could find a partner. Benjamin wasn't too happy, but he agreed on it anyway. Benjamin was looking for a partner all night, but he never really found one on-screen. Once it was match time, Benjamin came down to the ring alone, but then announced his partner to be the last draft pick for RAW, Charlie Haas! Haas made his way down to the ring and the Super Heroes really didn't look ready at all. World’s Greatest Tag Team reunited and totally dominated this match and they actually won the titles when Haas made Hurricane tap to the Haastruction. Rosey could have helped, but instead he just watched. After the match Rosey then took off his mask and waved down someone and that someone was his former partner, Jamal. Rosey and Jamal then attacked Hurricane with no one there to help. So in just these few minutes we saw one team break up (Super Heroes) and two teams reunite (World’s Greatest Tag Team and 3 Minute Warning).

With just being said that Charlie Haas was the last pick for RAW the second to last was someone to help out Rey Mysterio try and take down Big Show. Before their scheduled match Mysterio got on the mic and said since the size advantage was a joke he thought it would be fair if he had someone else on his side. Show didn’t care at all as he knew it was going to be a squash any way. Rey Mysterio said he saw this man backstage and he was on Smackdown! for only about two weeks or so. So Mysterio called down his partner and said that it will be permanent and they will be known as Mexi Moda or Mexican Style. He then announced his partner was Psicosis and down he came. Big Show just laughed as it was just another cruiserweight. In the match Rey and Psicosis actually teamed very well together and took Show to the end of the line, but the size advantage was a little too big and Big Show was able to win this match after he hit a Double Chokeslam on the two men.

At Vengeance Kane defeated Edge because of Matt Hardy and once again the two were going at it, but this time it was Falls Count Anywhere. Once again Kane won this match and again because of Matt Hardy. Edge was dominating and was about to win when they were on the ramp until Matt Hardy came and clocked Edge with a chair. Matt Hardy then threw Edge to Kane and Kane hit a Chokeslam on the steel ramp and covered Edge to win. After the match was over Matt Hardy picked Edge up and he took him to the top of the ramp on the edge and just tossed him off it threw tables and wires. Then Eric Bischoff came out while Edge was getting aided by paramedics. Bischoff said he had some bad news for Edge as Matt Hardy was once again a member on RAW as he is back with the WWE.

There was a lot going with the new WWE Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton, but what about the still reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. He never made his way down to the ring, but was shown backstage being congratulated by HBK and then headed into Bischoff’s office. Batista asked Bischoff who was next at his title and Bischoff said that next week on RAW there will be a man that will be after his belt. Bischoff said that next week on RAW Big Show and Kane will go at it one on one with the winner facing Batista at Summerslam for his World Heavyweight Title. Batista liked what he heard and said come Summerslam he would be ready for one of those guys.

Smackdown! Heavyweight Champion?

Last week JBL announced that he got word from Teddy Long that since they don’t have a Heavyweight Champion a new one will get crowned. Now the time has come and tonight JBL will face three other men in Chris Benoit, Triple H and a mystery man. The mystery man will be a superstar from RAW as the last two draftees from RAW face off and the winner will move on to this match to crown the first ever Smackdown! Heavyweight Champion.

Last week on Smackdown! The Undertaker was set to face three men in Eddie Guerrero and MNM. The Undertaker was doing pretty good for sometime, but then the advantage of more men became to large so down came the new tag team of Friendly Monsters of Matt Morgan and John Heidenreich. Now tonight The Undertaker will team with the Friendly Monsters and face Eddie Guerrero and MNM.

Two men as of now are after Booker T. Those two guys are Kurt Angle and Carlito. Angle physically abused Booker’s wife and Carlito is just after Booker because he wants to try and get him out of the US Title Picture. Now tonight Booker T is at a disadvantage, as he has to face both men in Kurt Angle and Carltio.

Speaking of the United States Title, the new Champion in Hardcore Holly faces Orlando Jordan in a rematch for the US Title as Jordan lost it last week in an Open Challenge to Holly. Jordan had no clue he would lose the belt, but now he is looking to win it back.

Who will the two RAW draftees be and which one of them will win and move onto the Four Way Elimination Match? Will The Undertaker be able to get revenge from the past two weeks of Eddie Guerrero’s attacks? Will Booker T get any help from someone to even up the odds? Will Orlando Jordan be able to recapture the United States Title?

A Real Heavyweight Title

This edition of Smackdown! was a night full of surprises which saw the last two men coming from RAW to Smackdown! to really make this edition a good one. The show started off with Smackdown!’s GM, Teddy Long in the ring and talking about the upcoming Smackdown! Heavyweight Title Match. Long said before that could happen though, the last two draftees from RAW have to face each other to determine the last spot in the match. So Long told everyone he had no clue who the men were coming to Smackdown! so it was all a surprise to him. All of a sudden the sound system blasted with, “OH OH SHAWN!” The place exploded as down came HBK Shawn Michaels! HBK got in the ring and took the mic from Long and said that no matter whom it is he is ready to face them and beat them so he can have a chance to once again become Heavyweight Champion. Then Long said, let’s see who you will be facing and the sound system blasted again, but with this time, “HEY!” The crowd didn’t believe nor did HBK or Long until out stepped the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton! Everyone was on their feet applauding the new Champ as Smackdown! got the WWE Heavyweight Title back, but on a new man. Orton got on the mic saying that he knew HBK would love to fight anyone right now, but Orton said there is no need to as he is giving him a free pass into the Four Way Match. HBK thanked Orton, but told him not to go as he had an idea to share. Orton said since the WWE Heavyweight Title is back and looking good on someone new, shouldn’t that Smackdown! Heavyweight Title not wrestled for. Teddy Long agreed and the fans didn’t look happy. Long said don’t get to upset though, because that Four Way Match was still on though as the winner would be facing Randy Orton for the WWE Heavyweight Title at Great American Bash! HBK liked it and so did Orton. Moving onto the main event, this was one hell of a match. All four men fought their hearts out and no man would give up, literally until HBK had to when Kurt Angle ruined his chances. Angle got some revenge on HBK from earlier tonight as he cost his match against Booker T in a Handicap Match. Angle arrived in the ring and delivered an Angle Slam to HBK and then JBL delivered a Clothesline from Hell to HBK to eliminate him. It was then down to three men and this time no one would get eliminated. Finally down came Randy Orton and showed what a real wrestler was like. He got in the ring with his dress shirt and pants on still and all three men attacked him. Orton fought out of it though, and ended up giving each man an RKO and making Orton the only man standing right before Smackdown! ended. Right before the show did end Orton got on the mic and said he didn’t care, he would face all three men in Benoit, JBL and Triple H at Great American Bash as he new he would take down all three men. The show ended with Orton doing his usual jeer with his both arms out.

Talking about the revenge Kurt Angle got on HBK all started when HBK bumped into Angle a little earlier in the night. HBK asked Angle how things were going after Mania, but Angle didn’t respond for a bit until he said that all he remembers is WrestleMania and when he made HBK tap out to his devastating Ankle Lock. HBK just gave Angle a smirk and walked right past him. Then Angle’s match was up next and he was teaming with Carlito to face Booker T in a Handicap Match. Booker was still pissed with Angle about him psychically abusing his wife and with Carlito as they are both contenders for the US Title. This was an okay match and what made it good was the surprise entrance of Shawn Michaels. HBK didn’t tag with Booker, but he did help him win the match. Booker T just hit Carlito with the Scissors and he was rolling. He then went to give one to Angle, but he backed up out of it and nailed Booker with the Angle Slam. Angle then went and locked in the Ankle Lock on Booker T. Right before he was about to tap down the ramp came running Michaels and he got on the apron, but was stopped by the ref. Angle got distracted too and let go of the hold and went into HBK’s face. Booker T then recovered though, and snuck behind Angle and rolled him up with a School Boy. The ref counted the three and Booker T overcame the odds because of HBK distracting Angle. After the match Angle started complaining to the ref that it was HBK distracting, but the ref didn’t care. Angle then turned around and got greeted with the Sweet Chin Music from HBK and then Booker and Michaels both left with a smile on their faces.

Speaking of United States Title contenders, the new US Champ of Hardcore Holly made his first defense tonight against the man he beat for the title last week, Orlando Jordan. Jordan was pissed that he lost the title last week and he was pissed off this whole match which definitely effected him tonight. OJ couldn’t do anything in this match. Holly was rolling until somehow Jordan just barley ducked out of the way of Holly’s Clothesline and Holly nailed the ref. Holly tried to help him up, but there was no chance. While Holly was helping out the ref, Jordan went on the outside and grabbed the US Title. He got back in the ring and clocked it over the head of Holly and then threw the belt of out the ring. He then woke the ref up and rolled up Holly with a handful of tights. The ref counted the three without knowing anything and Orlando Jordan cheaply won back his United States Title. After the match though, down came Teddy Long once again, but spoke on the ramp. Long said that Jordan was supposed to face Carlito and Booker T in a normal Triple Threat Match at Great American Bash for his Title. Long said since OJ was having trouble with Holly the past two weeks he would be involved in the match too, but not as a competitor, but as the Special Guest Referee!

After Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels promo's to start of Smackdown! the first action to get Smackdown! underway for good was the Six Man Tag Team Match between The Undertaker and the Friendly Monsters against Eddie Guerrero and MNM. All six men fought a great match and it was mainly an out of control match. The Friendly Monsters totally out powered MNM as they were a little intimidated. With Eddie and Taker, Eddie was really intimidated, as he never knew how scary Taker was so close up. Coming down to the end of the match though, Melina tried to distract F Squared, but it didn't work because as they turned back around to face MNM, MNM charged, but missed the attack and knocked Melina off the apron. F Squared then hit one man from MNM each with a huge explosive Powerbomb. The Undertaker won the match for his team though, when he put Eddie Guerrero away with a huge Tombstone. After the match F Squared that they wanted the gold around their waste by doing the little taunt. The Undertaker the pointed to Eddie and did a throat slash seeming like he wanted Eddie too.

Frankie Kazarian came down to the ring during Smackdown! and said that he has already made his mark in the WWE and already deserves a shot at Paul London's Cruiserweight Title. Out came another newcomer in Juventud and he didn't think so. Juvi said that he thought he was better then Kazarian. Juvi thought of a good idea as they should fight a match with the winner facing Paul London at Great American Bash. Kazarian agreed as he didn't care as he was confident in a win. Kazarian confidence paid off as he was right and he did come out with the win. It was a good match, but it showed that Kazarian was for real and really was looking to show something in the WWE. Kazarian won match with the Flux Compotator and moved onto face London at Great American Bash with a record of 3-0. After the match though, London came from the crowd and attacked Kazarian from behind and laid him out with the Cruiserweight Title and told him his winning streak will become a losing one come Great American Bash.

With the Draft Lottery being over, RAW gained a WWE Heavyweight Champion in John Cena and then lost a WWE Heavyweight Champion in Randy Orton. Now since RAW is back to one World Heavyweight Champion, Batista now has to worry about a few other people as well.

As of now it seems Jericho and Cena don’t care about gold, but just want to go after each other, but last week on RAW Batista wanted to know who is next for his title. Bischoff said since Kane and Big Show have been impressing him as of late they will go at it one on one with the winner facing Batista at Summerslam. Batista liked what he heard as he thought whoever he faces, it will be an easy one.

Muhammad Hassan gained his first ever Title in the WWE when Goldberg helped him win the Intercontinental Title against Christian and Shelton Benjamin. Hassan will now be making his first defense against Christian tonight on RAW. It seems as if Hassan and Goldberg won’t be helping each other anymore so Hassan might be getting his first lose ever in the WWE as well as losing the IC Title.

Last week on RAW, Rosey turned on Hurricane when he didn’t help Hurricane try to get out of Haas’ Haastruction and so Hurricane had to tap letting the WGTT become new World Tag Team Champs. Then after the match Rosey took his mask off and called down his old tag partner of Jamal and both men attacked Hurricane with no one to help. Now this week Hurrican will try to get revenge when he teams with the WGTT to face 3 Minute Warning in a Handicap Match.

Who will Batista be facing at Summerslam? Will Hassan get his first lose in the WWE as well as be a transitive Champion? Will 3 Minute Warning overcome the odds and beat three men?

Former World Champ is Back for Some More

This was the first RAW after the draft lottery has ended. Also, this is RAW on Independence Day which is July 4th. On this week’s RAW we saw a surprise surpass everyone in the rankings for the World Heavyweight Title so he could get a shot at Summerslam. RAW got kicked off with Goldberg coming out and saying that once again he is back and looking to kick someone’s a$$ just like he did at Vengeance and last week on RAW. So Goldberg called anyone down to the ring and face him and down came Steven Richards. This was a bad mistake by Richards as he didn’t know what he was getting himself into. Richards got totally destroyed and Goldberg finished him off in about two minutes with again a Spear and a Jackhammer. After the match though, Goldberg got on the mic and said that he wanted more. He screamed out “WHO’S NEXT!?” and all of a sudden out came Big Show. Show stood on the ramp with a mic in his hands while Goldberg was a little surprised. Show told Goldberg he doesn’t impress anyone by beating guys like Striker or Richards. Show then went on saying to Goldberg if he wanted to show that he was so impressive that he should be in the match involving himself and Kane with the winner facing Batista at Summerslam! Goldberg responded by saying he doesn’t need to impress anyone as he is the best World Heavyweight Champion in the history of wrestling. Show didn’t agree and said that he is next for Goldberg. Goldberg agreed with that he will be facing Show and Kane, but not that Show is next. Goldberg said there is no match between him and Show and Kane. Goldberg finished up by saying, “BATISTA!! Your NEXT!!!” As the night continued Batista came down to the ring at one point and told everyone that he doesn’t care who he faces at Summerslam as he know he will still be Champion. Batista said that he will be right there when all three men wrestle to find out who he has to face and after the match Batista said he would get right in the face of his opponent and kick his a$$. Finally the time came and all three men were in a separate corner with Batista at the announcers table as a special announcer. All three monsters went at it nonstop with mainly Goldberg and Kane teaming up on Big Show. Show overpowered both men early in the match, but then Show started to get tired and Goldberg and Kane took advantage. Kane was then going to try and finish Show with a Chokeslam, but Goldberg turned on Kane and nailed him with a Sidekick! Goldberg then nailed a huge Spear on Big Show making him fly threw the ropes! Next was Kane and Goldberg then delivered with a Spear on Kane. Goldberg went nuts on the ropes and got Kane up and nailed him with the Jackhammer and covered him to become the Number One Contender. After the match Goldberg made the signal that he wanted the belt around his waist. Batista then got up from the announcers table and took of his suit jacket and dress shirt. Batista got in the ring and dropped his belt. He and Goldberg got face to face and then Goldberg made the first punch and Batista fought back. The punches flew with finally Batista throwing Goldberg into the ropes, but Goldberg coming back and nailing Batista with a thunderous Spear! Goldberg went nuts again and grabbed Batista belt! He got on the ropes and held it saying it was coming to him come Summerslam to end RAW.

Muhammad Hassan made his first ever defense as any type of Champion tonight on RAW. Hassan was feeling very confident as before the match he had a short interview saying that he is now on the top of RAW and will remain there and go down as the best Intercontinental Champion ever. Hassan then said that soon enough he will be holding both the Intercontinental Title and the World Heavyweight Title. Finally, down came Christian as he had enough. He got on a mic and said that he is taking away the IC Title from Hassan as it coming over to him and to all his peeps and it seems as if Christian is now a somewhat sort of face. Before the match got under way Daivari grabbed a chair and snuck behind Christian and nailing it right to Christian’s right back knee. The whole match now Christian was at a disadvantage because of the chair shot. So Hassan just kept on going after the right knee and it worked. Hassan was hitting chop blocks, locking in submissions, doing everything possible to injure the knee even more. Hassan was doing all these things, but Christian wouldn’t give up. Finally, Hassan gave up and grabbed a chair and whacked it over the head of Christian to make Christian win the match by DQ, but let Hassan remain Champion. After the match Hassan took the chair and smashed it over the back of Christian’s right knee over and over again until road agents and referee’s came out and tried to stop him.

3 Minute Warning made their return match, but it wasn’t going to be an easy one as they had to face three men. 3MW was up against the Tag Champs of WGTT and Hurricane. 3MW impressed a lot of people though, as they totally dominated all three men. Jamal and Rosey made quick work of Hurricane by making a non-factor in this match, but then they also dominated the Champs. Benjamin and Haas tried fighting back, but the return of 3MW was too powerful. Finally Jamal and Rosey finished off the WGTT when Jamal and Rosey both hit a Splash on both Haas and Benjamin.

Also, during the night Eric Bischoff had an announcement involving RAW Titles. Bischoff said that he knew it was the 4th of July and wanted it to be a good night, but it wouldn’t be a good night for the inactive Trish Stratus as he was making the Women’s Title inactive! Bischoff then said he had some good news though as a new Title will be appearing on RAW after Summerslam as there will be a new midcard Title involving a tournament which will starting up after Summerslam.

HBK Wants Revenge

Last week on Smackdown! was a huge night for the Smackdown! brand as they took Shawn Michaels and got back the WWE Heavyweight Title with a new Champion in Randy Orton. Now tonight on Smackdown! both men will be in action as the road to Great American Bash gets even closer.

Last week when Shawn Michaels got drafted to Smackdown! along with Randy Orton, Orton told HBK he could take the last spot for free. The night carried along with HBK and Angle bumping into each other backstage and exchanged a few words. Then during Angle’s match later that night, HBK interfered helping Booker T win. Then the main even came and Angle cost HBK the Four Way Match. So now HBK will team with Booker T to face Angle and Carlito. This match has two really heated up feuds on Smackdown!

Just the week before this past RAW, Randy Orton made his first defense as WWE Heavyweight Champion against Chris Jericho as he defeated Cena and Jericho at Vengeance. His defense was successful and then brought the title along with himself to Smackdown! last week. Now Orton will be facing three other men in Benoit, JBL and Triple H at Great American Bash. So Orton has asked for a bit of a warm up match and he will be facing a mystery opponent with his WWE Heavyweight Title on the line.

Last week on Smackdown! Frankie Kazarian told everyone that it was time he deserved a shot at the Cruiserweight Title even though he has only be in the WWE for a few weeks now with a record of 2-0. Juventud, another newcomer, didn’t want Kazarian get such an easy shot so they wrestled each other with the winner getting the shot and it still came out with Kazarian as the winner. Now Paul London is set to face Kazarian at Great American Bash and like Orton, London wants a warm up match as well.

What will happen next with the feud of Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle? Who will be facing Orton for his WWE Heavyeight Title? Who will be facing London for his Cruiserweight Title?

HBK Gets His Part and More

This week on Smackdown! saw the once started Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels feud at Royal Rumble continue up again leading from the attacks from both men of last weeks Smackdown! After an amazing Tag Team Main Event Match, HBK finally got what he wanted, a match against Kurt Angle at Great American Bash! The night started off with Randy Orton coming down to the ring addressing the man who got cheated out of getting a shot at his Title, Shawn Michaels. HBK came down to the ring and him and Orton talked for a little while about him getting cheated out by Angle and how HBK vs. Orton would be one of the best matches in the history of wrestling. Finally, down came Kurt Angle as by the look of his face you could tell he had enough. He came down to the ring and got in the face of the Champion and HBK. Angle then took a mic and said that both men could say all they want, but everyone knows that he would deserve a title shot at any point in time before HBK. HBK then just laughed and embarrassed Kurt on how him and his partner for tonight lost a Handicap Match last week. Angle came back with bringing up WrestleMania again and then HBK had enough and attacked with some rights and lefts. Angle fought back and threw HBK out of the ring, but then Orton came to the aid of HBK and threw Angle out of the ring after an RKO. Then down came Chris Benoit where he and Orton went back and forth until down came JBL and took out Benoit. Then down came The Game and he took out JBL. It was now just Orton and Triple H standing face to face and right before they went at it, Teddy Long came out and said that there is no need to fighting now as Orton has a match which is next. Long then announced his opponent to be Triple H. Orton and Triple H couldn’t believe, but both men didn’t care and started going at it. Then down came a ref so this could be an official match for the Title. Orton and Triple H went back and forth and Orton went for the RKO several times, but he just couldn’t hit it. Finally right when Triple H was about to take total control setting up for a Spinebuster of something of those sorts, in came JBL and Benoit and they attacked the Champion and the ref called for a DQ. Triple H didn’t care though, he didn’t care that he lost and all he wanted to do was injure the Champ. Finally, after a brutal attack the challengers were broken up.

Moving on with the Main Event, Kurt Angle and Carlito were psyched for this match all night as they said they couldn’t embarrass themselves again by losing once again, but once again they came out on the losing end. Even though they put up one hell of a fight, they couldn’t pull out the victory. The whole match Angle was eying down HBK and that’s all he wanted. Finally, Angle got into the match, but Booker T was the legal man. Angle absolutely tore apart Booker T with Suplex after Suplex and then got right into the face of HBK in his corner and threw a sucker punch at him! Angle then continued the attack on Booker T until HBK got up. Once he did and got in the ring all hell broke loose. Angle and HBK started brawling in and out of the ring. Same with Booker and Carlito. The ref couldn’t stop it. Finally, HBK and Booker brought the action into the ring and set it up like they were the legal men. The finish came when Booker T distracted Angle in his corner and HBK knocked Carlito off the apron and then Angle turned around and HBK nailed him with the Sweet Chin Music! HBK then cockily made the cover and won the match for him and Booker T. After the match and when Angle recovered he got in the face of HBK and said it wasn’t over. Then all of a sudden down came Teddy Long. Long said that HBK requested a match for Great American Bash and it has been granted. Long announced that at Great American Bash it would be Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle II! HBK had a smile on his face and Angle had a sadistic one and then grabbed the mic. Angle told HBK he might be happy, but come Great American Bash he won’t be as he has a surprise for him. Before Angle could finish, HBK just stepped back and hoped forward connecting with another Sweet Chin Music.

About at the halfway point in the show, JBL, Benoit and Triple H come into the office of Teddy Long. They said that they want some of Orton and they want him now. Long said he can’t don that, but next week he can do this. Long said that next week it will be Triple H teaming with JBL and Benoit teaming with Orton and both teams will face each other. And Long said if anyone attacks their partner, the person who does will be suspended indefinitely without pay and won’t be able to compete in the match at Great American Bash. No one was really that happy especially Benoit as he had to team with Orton.

During the night Paul London came down to the ring and was ready for his Cruiserweight Title warm up defense. But for some odd reason down came the challenger that London is facing at Great American Bash. Kazarian got in the ring and on the mic. Kazarian said that he got word from Long and said that this match was okay. So Kazarian told London why wait for the Bash when they can go at it now without London losing his title as it will be a non-title match. London liked the idea and jumped on it right away as he attacked Kazarian. Both of these cruiserweights had an outstanding match and these two are probably the best cruiserweights right now at this point. Kazarian really impressed everyone in this match as it really seemed he is ready to be facing the Cruiserweight Champion. Kazarian really showed it when he hit the Flux Capacitator on London! Kazarian made a cocky pin so London kicked out, but Kazarian stayed on attack and put London away with a huge Superkick to make Kazarian 4-0!

There was also some more Cruiserweight Action as there was a huge 5 on 5 Tag Team Match. It was the team of Shannon Moore, Scotty 2 Hotty, Nunzio, Funaki, and Super Crazy vs. the team of Juventud, Spike Dudley, Akio, Chavo Guerrero, and Billy Kidman. This match was just for fun and entertainment. The cruiserweights just flew back and forth until they couldn’t fly anymore. The last men standing in this non-elimination match were Chavo and Kidman against Super Crazy. Chavo and Kidman just double-teamed Crazy and quickly put him away with a Double Fisherman Suplex.

Eddie Guerrero vs. The Undertaker

Ever since Eddie Guerrero lost his partner as he was saying, Rey Mysterio to RAW, Eddie Guerrero went back to his old ways. When he went after the WWE Tag Team Titles he went and found a partner and that man was the return of The Undertaker. Eddie turned on Taker though, and allowed MNM to win the match. The next week Taker was in a 3 on 1 Handicap Match and he won the match with help from the new tag team of Friendly Freaks. Finally the week after that The Undertaker teamed with F Squared and they won that match against Eddie and MNM. Finally Taker has had enough of Eddie and the two men will settle it in a match at Great American Bash.

Hardy’s Return Match

Last week we found out who will be facing Batista at Summerslam. And no it wasn’t Big Show or Kane, but in fact it was the late entrant of Goldberg. Now we look forward on the topic of what is next between these two men along with another great night of wrestling on RAW.

Matt Hardy made his return to the WWE at Vengeance when he helped out Kane defeat Edge in a No DQ Match. Then the night after Vengenace on RAW, Hardy helped Kane win again and then out came Bischoff and announced Hardy was once again a member in the WWE. Now tonight on RAW, Matt Hardy makes his return match when he faces off against Edge! Matt Hardy and Edge in a ring at the same time might cause some chaos.

Last week on RAW it was meant to be Big Show and Kane facing off in the Number One Contender’s Match, but Big Show had to open his mouth to Goldberg and let him be in the match and of course he wound up winning. Now Kane wants revenge on Big Show as he had to open his mouth and cause both men a match-up against Batista. So Bischoff have booked each other in a match to see who would really have faced Batista.

Tonight on RAW four teams will face off with the winning team facing World’s Greatest Tag Team next week on RAW for the World Tag Team Titles. The four teams are Heart Throbs, Mexi Moda, Simon System, and Snitsky/Tomko. The thing is all four teams have to watch out for 3 Minute Warning as they want the Tag Titles more then anyone.

What is next between Goldberg and Batista? Will Hardy get his revenge on Edge tonight? Will Kane gets his revenge on Big Show? Will 3 Minute Warning have to do anything with the Four Way Match?

Hardy Gets Revenge, but Not Finished

What a night it was for Matt Hardy as he wrestled in his first wrestling match back and did what exactly what he wanted to do, knock Edge out. Before the main event came, Hardy had an interview earlier in the night. Hardy told Grisham who was interviewing him that no matter what the outcome of what their match was later on tonight, Hardy won’t be finished with Edge. Hardy then went on saying that he won’t ever be finished with Edge until he never has to see him on WWE TV again or at least not on his brand again! Hardy said tonight though, is his return match and he is ready to kick a$$, especially Edge’s a$$. Then before the match, Edge came down to the ring with Lita and he had some words to say. Edge said that Matt Hardy is lucky to once again have a job in the WWE, but he is going to regret it as Edge is going to tear apart Hardy and make him to never be able to wrestle again. Edge then gave the mic to Lita and Lita said that she never really loved Hardy and only wanted him for sex. Lita then said she always loved Edge because he was so much sexier and better looking. Finally Matt Hardy had enough and came out and got in the ring and in the face of Lita. Hardy said he can care less about Lita as she is just a dirty slut and then he gets in the face of Edge. Hardy then said that the only reason he came back to the WWE is because he wanted to beat the living hell out of Edge. Hardy said once he does that he is most likely out of the WWE unless he likes what he is doing very much. Hardy then said tonight the trip starts for Edge. Edge looked confused as did Lita. Hardy then finished by saying the trip to hell and back! Hardy then dropped the mic and attacked Edge and quickly threw him out of the ring. Lita was still in the ring at this point and Hardy backed her up into the corner. Hardy was about to attack her until Edge could get back into the ring and drop Hardy to the mat after pulling him down from his hair. Both men fought a great ten minute bout which was sick even though it wasn’t even a hardcore battle. Edge and Hardy went back and forth, but coming down to the finish of the match Hardy got the upper hand as he started fighting back after he kicked out of the Edgecution. Edge then went and picked up Hardy again and went for another Edgecution, but this time Hardy fought out of it and nailed Edge with a Dropkick making him fly out of the ring! Hardy then bounced off the opposite ropes and came running back jumping over the ropes flying to the outside and nailing Edge with a Flying Crossbody. Hardy then threw Edge into the ring post and stairs a few times until he went to really inflict pain on Edge. They both got on the apron closes to the ramp. Hardy then set up for the Side Effect and jumped up landing onto the outside mats crashing down with Edge nailing the Side Effect! The crowd went crazy as Hardy was hurting himself and Edge just wasn’t moving. Finally Hardy got up and slide back in the ring. The ref continued the ten count and Edge had no chance to get back in the ring. After the match Hardy celebrated throwing up the V1 on his hand as Edge was being helped by referees and paramedics as RAW went of the air.

That was all which ended RAW basically, but what got RAW started was the Highlight Reel hosted by Chris Jericho with his special guest being John Cena. Jericho and Cena had some peace for about five minutes until Jericho couldn’t take the dising of John Cena. Before Jericho lost his cool, he asked Jericho how it felt losing his Title to Randy Orton at Vengeance. Cena of course responded by saying he didn’t like it, but then said that at least he lost it to someone good like Orton unlike Jericho. Jericho got a little upset, but kept his cool. Jericho then asked Cena why he cheated him out the night after Vengeance for the WWE Heavyweight Title. Cena said he didn’t cheat anyone out as Jericho just didn’t perform to good as usual. Jericho once again got pissed, but doesn’t express it to much. Jericho then asks Cena one final question on does Cena think he can beat him. Cena responded with an of course and any one could beat him, even his dead grandma can. Jericho then lost his cool and charged at Cena, but he ducked and lifted up Jericho and hit the FU with the crowd erupting.

The night then continued with the match-up between Big Show and Kane. Kane was looking to get some revenge on Big Show after last week he let Goldberg be in the Number One Contender’s Match and he wound up winning. So both big monsters went at it with a powerful force. Neither monster would back down as they took this in and out of the ring with the ref just following them wherever they go as if there were no count outs. Finally the ref saw enough as they went to far away from the ring and were out of the ring for to long and called for the bell as the ref ended the match in a No Contest. The two monsters continued fighting all the way to the backstage area though, and they finally came to a stop when they both tried to Chokeslam each other, but that didn’t work. Big Show then kicked Kane in the gut and backed up. Big Show then charged at Kane and hit a Spear on him making both men fly through a glass window into a room where The Hurricane was watching a Super Hero TV Show. Both Kane and Show were laid out and The Hurricane cracked the crowd up by saying, “Two huge monsters coming crashing through a window! Was up wit dat? Hurricane then went on, “Oh, I must get help for these large men as I, The Hurricane, a superhero can’t even lift them up!”

What was next for the feud between the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista and Goldberg. Well, Batista came out to the ring during RAW and had a few words to say about his opponent. Batista said that he watched the match very closely last week and he saw Goldberg really dominate. Batista said that it doesn’t matter though, as come Summerslam, he the Champion will be the one dominating. Then out came the challenger in Goldberg as he had enough quickly. Goldberg got in the ring and in the face of Batista. Goldberg shut up Batista by saying that he better shut up because he has much more experience then him and have been around this title much more. Batista tried to respond, but Goldberg said to him that he better not speak unless he wants the same thing that happened last week to happen. All of a sudden down came Eric Bischoff and said before anything goes down he wants to announce a match for next week on RAW. Bischoff said since these two men are going at it at Summerslam and Jericho and Cena are still having trouble next week on RAW it will be Batista and John Cena against Goldberg and Batista. Goldberg liked what he heard as did Batista, but Goldberg got the last word by saying that next week he and Cena are NEXT!

The four teams that were involved in the Number One Contender’s Match ended really where no one really came out a winner. Even though there was a winning team announced, they didn’t want to be a winning team after the match. This was okay Tag Team action with the only exciting team being Mexi Moda. They really dominated with the other powerful team in Snitsky/Tomko. Those two teams took the other teams out and it really came down to these two forces. The speed in Mexi Moda was just to overpowering for Snitsky/Tomko and they just couldn’t keep up with them. Mexi Moda came out with the victory after Rey nailed Snitsky with the 619 and Psicosis hit Tomko with the Guillotine Leg Drop. Now this is where the winners regretting winning. After the match down came 3 Minute Warning and they were upset they weren’t involved in this match so they tore apart the winners. The two miny men compared to 3MW just got wrecked. After a few Samoan Drops and Splash’s 3 Minute Warning did their job by taking out Mexi Moda.

Rob Conway also continued his Legend Killing Open after he killed his first legend in Vader at Vengeance. Conway was in the ring and called down any legend to be embarrassed just like Vader was at Vengeance. Then, all of a sudden out came none other then Doink the Clown. Doink had a big smile on his face of course and got in the ring. Conway just laughed and quickly attacked. Conway made quick work of Doink and Conway quickly hit the Conway Cutter on Doink and marked Conway’s second legend killed.
