I always choose the horses that are around 10-1, just so if I put a quid on, I'll get £10+ back.

Didn't bet (Due to me not knowng it was Grand National weekend until my dad told me today). Plus I don't really like betting on horses, as I have no fucking clue about it. Watching the Grand National is still awesome though. When the leader fucked up I couldn't stop laughing...it may have gotten 'easier' but with 9 finishing, it hasn't lost its charm it had when I was a wee-little kid.

Shotgun Willy = Greatest name ever...slightly scary mental picture though.

Nil Desperandum, fiver each way, gives LCS alot of dosh. I also had 50p on Forest Gunner to E/W, but you should never trust a woman, she probably was very careful over the jumps.

I went yesterday and today. It was £25 quid to get in yesterday, £6 today, thanks to some discounted tickets. I started with £145, I now have £45. Didn't win anything.

Not a good weekend, financially at least.

You get £66 for the win, and 1/4 the odds for the place at £5 stake, which is....something, and then the £10 stake money back, of course.

Not too bad, all in all.
