There is a great reference to the 28 Days Later infection at the end of Shaun of the Dead, where it says; "Reports tell us that the virus wasn't started by rage infected monkeys"

I'm going to try to avoid the new NOTLD remake, which is in 3D and I saw the trailer, looks terrible.

If you can get hold of it I recommend trying to get hold of the Japanese movie Versus, simply because it's one of those movies that's so bad it becomes amazing.

No female nudity, and the violence is actually quite funny, for lack of a better word because of the low budget. But the fight scenes are quite good, although the zombies aren't the main focus of the film so I don't know whether you'd class it as an actualy zombie movie.

Well worth $11 though.
