The mafia vote and kill one townsperson a turn. Then, the townspeople each vote for one person, usually with some sort of stated reason why, to try and find and kill the mafia. In the end, if all the mafia die, the remaining townies win. If all the townies are dead, the mafia win. There are specials roles that allow special things to happen, blah blah blah.
