WCW/nWo Revenge n64

I just bought a used cartridge for my 64, and I'm loving the nostalgia...but I ran into a problem where when I turn off my system, the cartridge goes back to the data it had when I bought it, and doesn't save anything I've done.

Help?

If Revenge saves right to the N64 cart and not to a memory card, then it could be that the battery in the cart is messed up maybe? That's a complete guess

Problem with your memory cartridge? Try re-formatting that and saving from the options screen?

I assume you DO have a memory cart in.......

It saves to the game, not a cartridge. Corizzle is probably right.

Yeah, I guess I'll just hit up the used stores and EB Games until I find another one. I'd settle for any of the THQ wrestling games, actually. World Tour, Revenge, WrestleMania or No Mercy...they were all great.

If you have Revenge, you don't need World Tour. Mania 2000 is pretty good though.

Is my memory correct in saying that in No Mercy, I could edit the workers so much, that I could take the roster in the game, and make it the TNA roster by editing the moves and appearances of the workers?

No. You can edit the appearance only. (Unless you have a gameshark) Basically you find the characters whose moves most closely match a TNA guy, and change his appearance accordingly.

You take that back RIGHT NOW! Attitude is awesome. Just sucks that you can't change attires on the N64 version.

Oh man, just a week ago I figured out my N64 still worked (it was just dirty as hell). I've been playing No Mercy, WCW/nWo Revenge and the Pokemon Stadium games nearly non-stop.

Fuck off, Pokemon Stadium 2's mini-games are awesome.

Strangely, I was just playing this game before dinner. Stevie Ray kicked out after four Jackknife Powerbombs and then Chris Benoit pinned me after a Backbody... I'm a little rusty.

However, this game is awesome if only because it has 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams on it.... BACKDROP DRIVA~!!!!!!!!!! DANGEROUS~!!!

How the fucking fuck do you reverse on No Mercy? I keep getting my ass hadned to me by my brother and my mate ebcause they reverse everything I try, but I can't block them. They say it's just the R button, but it does fuck all for me
