Paris is the next female "icon"

If by "blonde icon" she means "person who doesn't do much," then yeah, she fits right in. Well, at least Monroe was an actress. Diana though... I'll take Bill Maher's stance, "a nice woman who did some fine charity work." Still, Hilton doesn't do anything, I don't get how she continues to be important.

Because people often confuse her with Owen Wilson.

Hey, I can't say that about Ashlee anymore thanks to her plastic surgery addiction.

Unfortunately, that's so true. There's this show on MTV called 'My Super-Sweet 16' or some shit, and this group of girls were getting make-overs. They all wanted to look like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. So fucked.

I love that show, just so many spoilt people.

The truly entertaining thing about that is within a week of that statement, Lindsay Lohan made the same essential claim. Claiming to be 'this generations Marilyn Monroe.'

Which is so funny, and so wrong, yet so entertaining.

As egotistical as Lohan saying that is, at least she's actually done something to at least make the claim make a little sense. She sings, acts, and gets $7.5 million a movie, along with the crazed tabloid fodder. I don't think Lohan's claim is any better, but at least she was closer to it.
