For funsies, in school, a group of 5 of us threw €5 in each and have been betting on almost certain favourites each week, then lobbing the entire winnings on another soon after. We've done

We're on €70 now, which is cool, considering we've almost trebled our money on low-risk betting.

I ended up having a small 50p bet at 6/1 or something on Bent to score first and Sunderland to win. So I'm slightly up now. Until the Man City game starts in an hour that is. ESPN HD baby, definitely having a wee bet or two there while watching.

Winning bets - Man City HT/FT (£2), Bellamy or Tevez to score first (£1), Tevez to score in 90 mins and Man City to win (£1).

Losing bets - SWP to score anytime (50p), Man City to win 3-0 (50p), Scott Parker to be shown first card (20p).

Brings my total profit for the season to just over £35. Would've been a lot less if Paddy Power hadn't given me a £10 free bet after I'd lost my initial £10.

Figured you would've posted if you'd won, but I checked them all anyway. First one was crap, but second one was good except Motherwell won in extra time. Not much good that.

Will probably have a bash at the Champions' League tonight. Not sure what yet but I know I'm staying as far away from Rangers as possible.
