The season 1 finale was so awesome that it almost sets up expectations they can't possibly meet. But then again I never thought they'd top the pilot, so what do I know. Definitely one of the best comedies on TV right now, and almost certain proof that a multi-camera sitcom can still work on modern television.

What's also underated in this show is its use of music. I absolutely love the scene where lead character guy whatever his name is gets dropped off for his date with the girl he met through the dating service and then pictures his wedding and Robin is just sitting there crying and Roxy Music played. That was fucking awesome. Or when they played Block Party at the end of the season.

And this show is the very greatest comedy on TV now. Better than Earl, The Office, AD, Family Gay, Scrubs, American Crap, and every other comedy I forget.

I love the premiere, but something that just seemed odd was that Hannigan appears to have found out where they hide the tanning beds and finally used one. She just looked weird to me, though.

The season premiere was okay. Not one of the greatest episodes, but it was good. The Class is gonna make me happy though. We just got an hour of totally awesome sitcoms on Monday Nights. True Story.

I just watched it and I loved it. Probably more than I should have and not just because of the cover of the Cure's "Boys Don't Cry" at the end. I'm really glad they're not being jackasses about the whole Ted and Robin thing and I really love this show.
