Dear god! Stop screaming and try to show some talent already!

...The music is alright but, fuckin' Jesus Christ on a pogo stick! Screaming is NOT singing, thus ruining the whole point of a lead singer.

To be perfectly honest...people don't bitch about screaming metal bands. What's different here? Could you seriously contemplate someone singing over this kind of music, it just wouldn't work. Granted you don't have to like the screaming, but him singing (Or mostly singing) would sound stupid.

I now firmly stand by the idea of "First half mostly weak, second half mostly good". Still far too short to be considered an 'album' by me though.

I love An Albatross, and their ilk (The Locust, The Smackdown, Robot Ninja Dinosaur Bastards, How To Tell Yourself From A Television, Buck Brothers, Daughters, xbrxx etc.), but I can understand why people wouldn't.

The synth intro to "The Revolutionary Politics Of Dance" is one of my favourite pieces of music in the world, it's brilliant. The appeal of it, in my opinion, is no different to the original appeal of punk rock, or hardcore, or heavy metal, or even trance music, just unrelenting speed and brutality, while moving away from the increasingly more death metal aspect of grindcore, which is pretty much their father genre.

It's incredible, though, it combines the best aspects of late hardcore/early grindcore with electro, and with amazing time signature and tempo changes...it's not just random noise, there's almost an aspect of John Zorn-esque free jazz to it all.
