Chivas does not look that bad now, I know they have the best GK in the league. Also isn't a few Toronto FC games going to be on CBC? Also there are a couple that will be on FSC. But other than that they have 1 game on ESPN 2 against the Red Bulls. The Revolution made them look silly though,.

Commercials on a soccer broadcast? Really? And then skipping ahead 35 minutes? If CBC is just going to use TFC as its stop gap between hockey and the news, let Rogers fucking air it. At least we're leading at the half (or were, the game's on tape delay and I neither know nor want to know how it ended).

lololololol at the fickle, fickle LA Galaxy fans who have signs that say "BENCH BECKHAM" and "BECKHAM GO HOME" and my personal favourite, "BLOWHAM".

He's injured, faggots. Yet another reason why Chivas > LA.

So after an offseason of doing absolutely dick all, Trader Mo sends Ronnie O'Brien to San Jose for $450,000 in allocation and a 1st rounder. Asked about it, Johnston says the money will give them an opportunity to bring in players "next year". Glad to see they're giving up on 2008 a month before the season is to begin. Hmm, so a radically supportive fanbase which is treated to absolute shit on the field by management that isn't willing to take the steps to make the product better. Yep, sounds like a team owned by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment to me.

In case there are any interested fans, cbcsports.ca will be streaming all three of TFC's Carolina Challenge Cup matches online. Should be a trainwreck, seeing as Wynne, Edu, Hemming, Roselund and Lombardo are all off on international duty. Nonetheless, it'll be some MLS for the first time in 2008. San Jose/Toronto starts in 10 minutes.

Apparently Toronto are giving a trial to Carlisle's Kevin Gall, which is bad news for TFC supporters cos he's just been on loan at Darlington and he's fucking gash.

Meh, not MLS but American soccer ....

Freddy Adu is finally looking like the "phenom" he's supposed to be. He's scored on two set pieces (both free kicks) in the Olympic qualifying match tonight against ......................................... Canada ..... ...

Not only that, but his pace is so far beyond anyone on the pitch. Freaking great. He, Altidore, and Wynne are going to be great for a while.
