The first trailer was a teaser designed to create a buzz for the movie, I don't see how you could have made any sort of decision of whether or not to see it based off that.

Trailer looks good, plus it has Agent Pearce from 24, that automatically bumps up its coolness factor.

I still have high hopes. I'm not a big Bay fan but reading interviews with him and him saying how involved Spielberg is and that he's not just there in name value only to sell tickets, has given me hope.

I'm still hoping for the greats like Blaster, Jazz and Soundwave in the movie, and they'd best be like the originals, or theres no point

Not to mention him being a tape recorder now would be a bit wank. All the other Decepticons would mock him for being obsolete. It's a shame, though, I love me some Soundwave, but I can't think of a decent way to get a modern-day Soundwave to work.

I could just picture it now, one of the classic style iPods being transformed into and spitting out flying iPod shuffle shaped craft and iPod nano shaped vehicles. It's gold I tells ya.
