Bah, I was there earlier this year and if I had known that Download was there I woulda prolly gone even if the bands playing aren't all to my liking or I haven't heard of most of them.

Had a spooky moment today where I was talking to some work colleagues about Download and the next call I got through was asking how to get to Donnington! (I work for Traveline South Yorkshire, the people with the bus/train timetables).

Seems the best way BY FAR is by car, followed by a train to East Midlands airport and a taxi from their - though it'd cost.

Train from Brum to Derby, taxi from the train staition to Donnington.

That's my method. Fuck the shuttlebus, getting one back on the Monday takes the piss.
