I've been waiting for this for well, years now, what with all of the 'will they, won't they make it?' rumours. Whoever compared it to a recent Wesley Snipes film by saying it looks straight to DVD has gone wrong in the mind tank.

The acting leaves a lot to be desired, but I'll give Stallone credit. He isn't bowing down to PG-13izing the franchise unlike another certain franchise from the 80s is doing with its fourth film. It'll be cool shit to watch, maybe even at the same level of 300 as far as making a cool movie that's got action throughout, even if the other elements suck.
