I wanted to get a mix of all the albums. Whilst Revelations is good to listen to, just comparing the songs on it to those of Audioslave and Out of Exile, there was little comparison to be honest, outside of the title track and Original Fire. I was toying with adding 'The Worm', but in the end, it didn't cut it. Fantastic riff though.

The Best of Idlewild

1. When I Argue I See Shapes

2. Everything (As It Moves)

3. Tell Me Ten Words

4. I Want a Warning

5. Roseability

6. I'm Happy To Be Here Tonight

7. A Ghost In The Arcade

8. A Modern Way of Letting Go

9. Blame It On Obvious Ways

10. These Wooden Ideas

11. Film For The Future

12. No Emotion

13. American English

14. Love Steals Us From Lonlieness

15. Little Discourage

16. Everyone Says You're So Fragile

17. Future Works

18. Live In a Hiding Place

19. Too Long Awake

20. In Remote, Pt.1/Scottish Fiction

I tried to do one off every album, except The Remote Part since I felt like it would need to finish with Scottish Fiction. Fuck me, that was hard picking just one from each album >_<

I like it, although I'd mess with the track order a bit, and your 'be fair to each album' tactic means the omission of You Held the World and Actually Its Darkness in favour of some naffer Make Another World songs. And to be a really arsey completist I'd insist on some earlier stuff like Satan Polaroid or even Chandelier. And to be even more arsey I'd the acoustic hidden track version of Too Long Awake thats vastly better than the normal one. Okay, mine would be completely different...

I prefer the hidden acoustic Too Long Awake aswell but I suppose I tried to make it more commercial.

Or if we want to get really arsey, let's throw in the acoustic Self Healer and all the Mince Showercaps :shifty:

Oh yeah, Make Another World is my favourite Idlewild album. I shall hear no bad mouthing of it >_<

Wow, this is hard actually.

I was gonna immediately go for Sigur Ros but a best of wouldn't be possible as the albums work as a whole unit and not as the inidividual tracks so much.

Therefore I'll do The Clash.

White Riot

London Calling

Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Bank Robber

White Man In Hammersmith Palais

Rudie Can't Fail

Know Your Rights

I Fought The Law

English Civil War

Clash City Rockers

Complete Control

Tommy Gun

I'm So Bored With The USA

So a nice opening burst with White Riot, some chest pumping with London and Should I Stay, then some reggae/two tone vibes with Bank Robber through to Rudie then some cool stuff with Know Your Rights and I Fought The Law, then some energy to finish.

Weezer(They named three other albums that, so why not their greatest hits, as well?)

1-Buddy Holly

2-My Name Is Jonas

3-Across The Sea

4-No Other One

5-Why Bother?

6-Say It Ain't So

7-Island In The Sun

8-This Is Such A Pity

10-Perfect Situation

11-Hold Me

12-Dreamin'

13-King

14-Cold Dark World

15-The Greatest Man That Ever Lived

Breaking that down, that's...

3 from Weezer(Blue Album)

3 from Pinkerton

1 from Weezer(Green Album)

3 from Make Believe

4 from Weezer(Red Album)

I have yet to hear all of their music, but this is the best I can come up with for now.
