I made one a while back when trying to figure out what music i actually wanted, rather than waiting until sales to pick out random shite cds.

unfortunately I used an Access database or something, it's a bugger to copy the list, but works well for organising what stuff by a band you haven't got.

I have a list of artists I need to check out, which is usually fairly lengthy.

I also keep a list of everything that's coming out that I'm looking forward to, and when it's coming out... so I've got that... which looks like this:

Swollen Members - Beautiful Death Machine

Deathstars - DeathGlam

AUGUST 25: Dragonforce - Ultra Beatdown

Motorhead - Motorizer

Slipknot - All Hope is Gone

SEPTEMBER: Lacuna Coil

Rancid

SEPTEMBER 2: Underoath - Lost in the Sound of Separation

AFI - Untitled EP

SEPTEMBER 16: Son Of Sam - Into The Night

Metallica - Death Magnetic

SEPTEMBER 30: Trivium - Shogun

Bleeding Through - Declaration

Jack's Mannequin - The Glass Passenger

OCTOBER 27: Cradle of Filth - Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder

DECEMBER: Alice in Chains

Marilyn Manson

2009: Carnivore

Static X - Enjoy Your Plague

The Ataris

Heaven and Hell

Black Light Burns

I keep updated through internet news, message boards and Revolver magazine mostly.

Pendleton [DONE]

Stars Like Fleas

Absinthe Blind

Electric Shy Boy [DONE]

We've Taped Over Your Cassettes

I'm offended that the Self Proclaimed Metalman doesn't have Master of Puppets.

I don't really keep a list anymore. I usually just ask EWB when the mood strikes me for new music.

I need to expand my hip-hop and spoken word collection somewhat.

Definately top of the list is...

Nas - Nigger/Untitled

Lupe Fiasco - The Cool

Jay-Z - American Gangster

I don't like paying more than like eight quid for a cd, so I'm biding my time.

I also want to get more Saul Williams and Blackalicious.

Need to check out Sage Francis.

Also I went to see a poet called Dockers MC (Laura Dockrill), now I already have her special edition album.. but the packaging is so pretty I can't bring myself to open it.. so may have to buy another copy to listen to.

I don't have a wishlist. I just get what I want if I feel the urge to get it. There's a bunch of record stores nearby, and if I can't find what I want there, I can always order online.

A few years ago when I was still in college I did make wishlists, but that was because I was always broke. When I did happen to get money I immediately got a CD or two before I spent it all on booze. Or food. Or books, can you imagine.

You don't have Downward Spiral or Siamese Dream?!?! HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?!?!!

>_>

YI, Young Galaxy are....kinda boring. They have a good song, but I can't remember which one that is, so it probably wasn't THAT good.

And K, I believe some of Sage's older albums are available free from some places. Unsure. Either way, his older stuff isn't expensive. And you really should check him out, he's immense. Personal Journals is right up your street, f'sure.
