I dunno if it's only me and The Kraig thats big Gers men but I think we should have a thread for the most succesful club in the world. No posts about Kaunas though I'm still mourning.

Annoyingly, the deal for Maurice Edu still hasn't came through yet, so I hope Walter's got back-up plans. Steven Davis is meant to be moving permanently to Rangers for about £3million, but I've seen little published.

A good win against Hearts, and a decent win against Falkirk so far. Pedro was immediately effective on his debut, and Lafferty's a good signing too. They've done amazingly well to come back confidently after the shock of Kaunas.

And don't worry, there's more Rangers fans on the board, they just don't talk much.

Edu will be through soon enough just Permit issues they probably won't decide till the 31st has been Pat Nevin is on the board what can we expect, he probably thinks Haining deserved the Red Card and Caldwell had a clean challenge today.

Rangers will struggle to keep the squad happy. If they don't sell, and they play 4-4-2 (no need for European 4-5-1's) then they have to select 2 from Ferguson, Davis, Mendes, Thompson and Hemdani in the centre midfield and 2 from Darcheville, Cousin, Miller, Velicka and Boyd up front.

They probably won't pick Boyd because, well, why would they pick their best goalscorer every week. That would be stupid.

The problem with that is that if you condense the squad so you only have one brilliant out-and-out stiker he's gonna get destroyed in the SPL, they currently have enough players to realisticly do what a good striker is capable of and they aren't screwed if one of them gets broken

Boyd showed what he has to offer against Hearts was like playing with a man down and that was with a man playing up front with him, sure he scores a lot but with the midfield much improved do they really need him as more chances will be made?

He's a very solid holding midfield player, I don't know how he'll step up to SPL play but I think he'll do pretty good for you lot. He also has a good eye for goal too, very much a poacher.
