Simple enough, you post an artist you want similar music to and EWB suggests bands. Myself, I'm looking for artists similar to the eclectic sounds of Gorillaz.

I know this is blindingly obvious but The Good, The Bad & The Queen sound a fair bit like Gorillaz. Behind The Sun would be a good song to choose as a starter.

Perhaps Mongrel. They quite similar to the hip hop side of Gorillaz I suppose. As are the Go! Team.

Yeah my suggestions suck...

Hit From The Morning Sun by Mongrel is good though.

Oh and similar to Friendly Fires: try These New Puritans. I've only heard one song by them - Elvis - but I thought it was Friendly Fires at first. So it must be similar.

Well not exactly identical. But fairly close. And a good song too.

What about artists similar to The White Stripes? Not so much the 'louder' songs (like Fell In Love With A Girl/Hotel Yorba/Seven Nation Army, etc) but more the 'quieter' ones, songs like I Fought Piranhas, I'm Lonely, A Boy's Best Friend and Ball And Biscuit.
