Yeah, that song's amazing. All I can find at the minute though. They're local though (I think), will hopefully catch them live at some point (they played with Apologies I Have None, but I didn't go :shifty:), they're on the same label as ONSIND, Short Term Effect etc.

It's like a mix between Against Me! and The Get Up Kids, it's wonderful.

Speaking of ONSIND, they're playing Durham with Defiance, Ohio on Saturday, I want to go...but revision and everything, I don't know, and I'll be on the piss Sunday/Monday, it probably wont be a wise idea. Oh and you can get their (ONSIND's) album "Dworkin's Bastards" for free, quality 'angry folk';

  • 2 weeks later...

...it says "volume", and there's a little bit of everything;

1) Tech-punk (eg. AWS)

2) UK post-punk influenced indie (eg. Futureheads)

3) Happiness in riff form

4) Piano-pop

5) Folk-Pop

6) The Coral style indie

7) Chilled out acoustic stuff

8) Dreamy/ghostly singer-songwriter stuff

9) Hip-Hop

10) Pendulum style Drum & Bass

11) Uptempo, 80's throwback synth-pop

12) Dance/Electro-Pop, going to be one of the breakout acts of the year...bit of an MGMT/Justice vibe

13) Glitchy electro, similar to DnTel

14) Laid back electro-pop, reminds me of early Styrofoam

15) Ex-singer of Sunny Day Real Estate...more of the same, absolutely amazing

16) Affectionately called 'twiddly shit'...bit like Foals

17) Absolutely fucking awesome. Part Get Up Kids, part punk-rock, part 'angry-folk'...awesome

18) Female fronted garage rock/punk...Blood Red Shoes vibe

19) Another in the long line of those bluesy style punk bands, bit more of a pop-punk style in there too, have Zane Lowe backing

20) Total early 00's pop-punk throwback, catchy as hell

And the start of the Owen song has one of my favourite lyrics this year in;

You said that you finally heard the voices in my head

Or at least I think you did

I'm so easily confused, an inebriated fool

Who doesn't know his right from left

Or often right from wrong
