Pre-Season Predictions

We usually do a pre-season predictions thread so we can look back at the end and see just how wrong we are! Might as well do it again, just post who you think will do what this year.

Can't understand the Chelsea votes for Prem champs. Sure they're no pushovers but they have a squad that was branded 'ageing' two seasons ago and they haven't made any serious signings this summer to improve the team other than their manager who'll no doubt be under immense pressure to perform or be out the door by Christmas.

I wouldn't like to make a full set of predictions but I do think it'll be between Utd and Liverpool again this season at the top.

Judging by your own predictions 6th and 7th will get in to the Europa League due to top five sides winning the domestic cups :P

Hull and Pompey are popular choices for the drop this season it seems, and the only grossly-unrealistic prediction I've seen so far is Chester for the play-offs! It's not certain yet if they'll even have a team for the season or be allowed in!

Told you I'd be wrong on something :D

I haven't really followed the Chester situation, so I didn't know they were in such huge trouble :(

So, how did everybody do? I did pretty well in the Premier League, correctly went for Chelsea to win the league, and all three of the relegated sides were right. But that's about as good as it got. Got nothing in the Championship and even predicted Blackpool to go down(!), correctly said Leeds, Millwall, Notts County and Stevenage would go up, but none in the right places...and Gillingham to go down. Chester surely doesn't count since they started the season on -25 anyway.

I saw the Chester, but who didn't? I did pretty good with having Stevenage, Luton, and Oxford in the top five. Histon... oops. (Still not as bad the one who picked Chester to the playoffs, or Grays getting promoted by playoff.) I put the Fleet in like 19th or 20th, and had Chester not gotten the boot they could have made it. I had a feeling they could have gone down, I just didn't want that to happen.

Premier: saw that bottom three.
