Game recommendation

I'm looking for a new game to occupy some time, I'm feeling something like a murder mystery game for PC, like the CSI series but with more emphasis of solving puzzles and piecing together clues than collecting fingerprints.

Any ideas?

How about Machinarium?

You can play the demo here.

If you Decide to buy the full game as a download it´s only 20$. (this includes Mac, Linux, Windows, no DRM at all, + the full Soundtrack as MP3)

It´s a beautyfull game!

Not exactly a point and click game but Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy is a fan-dabi-dozi mystery game.

I actually bought that the day it came out a few years back, really enjoyed it up to the point where it seemed the developers went 'Holy Shit! We're only halfway through the game and we've got 20MB of disk space left, time to wrap it up. Let's include some necrophilia and the internet as an evil AI entity, that'll do.

A lot of good game gneres seem to be, yes. You do know about Heavy Rain comming for the PS3? It´s the new game by the people that created Fahrenheit and they at least claim that they learned from their mistakes (so no alien scifie and abrubt endings? Also less quicktime combo events.)... it´s to be released in the beginning of 2010.

Spoil yourself with Promovideos here.
