Lewis has been reprimanded and fined $10,000 for stopping out on track, a move which McLaren has defended as it says it was necessary to be able to provide the mandatory post-qualifying fuel sample of one litre.

The Lotus' are bloody close to the Sauber's and Schumacher didn't even make Q3. Fantastic from Liuzzi though.

Its Canada, there is a high chance of there being a safety car, if this happens, then that will work to Mclaren's favour as they will be able to dive n to the pits and change tyres without too much of a loss if its about 10 laps in, if there is a safety car from the star it will keep the softs for longer and Mclaren will be able to run longer on the tyres that grain a hell of a lot quicker. I feel circumstances through out the race will make this interesting, and I would like to see if Vettel can put his car in to the wall and blame Webber again <_< haha.

Mark Webber has been given a five-place grid penalty at the Canadian Grand Prix after Red Bull Racing changed the gearbox on his car ahead of the race.

The Australian had qualified on the front row for the Montreal event, but his team discovered a problem with his gearbox in the build-up to the race. The team elected to change it on Sunday morning, which means he will be moved back five places on the grid. Webber will therefore now start seventh for the race - with team-mate Sebastian Vettel moving up to the front row alongside pole position man Lewis Hamilton.

Awesome Grand Prix, I would rather the tyres be rubbish and need more stops so it makes the tyre stops really interesting rather than "Eveyrbody, 20 laps on the soft tyre, pit stop, 40 laps on the hard, race over." It gets dull race after race.
