Actor Corey Haim, 38, is dead after an accidental drug overdose. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed that Haim, who battled substance addiction for several years, was found unresponsive in an Oakwood apartment and pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center at 2:15 a.m. this morning. His mother, according to FOX station KTLA, was in the apartment at the time.

Sad end to a up and down story.

Embarrassing mistake, but oh well. Rest in peace, Corey Haim. You will be missed. 38 is just way too fucking young to die, no matter what problems he had going on in his life.

But they're were known as "The Coreys" so even if there's only one left, he's still one of "The Coreys" Just like if Paul McCartney died, Ringo Starr would still be one of The Beatles.

No illicit drugs found in his place, and his mother said before the official autopsy report was released that the coroner called her and told her that he had water in his lungs and an enlarged heart. No final cause of death yet, though.
