Infinite Degrees of Eating Bacon Snacks Whilst Playing Games

Simple enough idea, somebody mentions a show, another person who has played the game above states a TV show they like that has something similar, be it gameplay (say, connecting Prince of Persia and Assasin's Creed), style of fun (Katamari Damacy and Little Big Planet or Bioshock and Dead Space), by similar themes (Spider-Man and Batman being of the superhero genre). Thought it might be a cool way to help people get into some games they might not have heard of/contemplated playing.

If you like No More Heroes you might like WET due to similar graphical and playable styles...

So if you like WET you might like...

Devil May Cry naturally leads on to Bayonetta. Crazy ass story, great fighting system for those who don't mind a bit of wrist-caining button bashing.

Without going fairly obviously, I'll take a slightly skewed jump to Ratchet And Clank: A Crack In Time. Both adventures with decent stories, shooting and puzzle solving, although a little more on the OTT side from R&C. All great games.

Which has a wise-cracking robot sidekick, just like Beneath A Steel Sky. Which also has lots of puzzles.

An easy segueway into any of the Monkey Island games, although I'd recommend the newest Episodic one which was for the PC and Wii, if only because it did a bloody good job refreshing the franchise.

Which leads me to Zack and Wiki, an under-rated game for the Wii based with puzzles and... well... a monkey.

Working around the duo concept, Jak And Daxter is a brilliant selection of platform fun.

Ahhhh back to the 3D platforming world! Reminds me a lot of that little purple dragon fella Spyro.

But out of all the old games like that... Gex the Gecko was the absolute best!

Speaking of platform games somehow involving lizards, hey look it's Donkey Kong Country 2.

Donkey Kong Country 2 was pretty awesome...but the best Nintendo platformer of all time is clearly Super Mario Bros. 3.

Super Mario Bros. 3 was a great platformer, but everyone knows about it-- now, a platformer that was pretty decent despite people rarely remembering it? Croc.

Croc was awesome, and it also reminds me of the GIGANTICFUCKOFFCROCODILE/ALLIGATOR from Resident Evil 2.

Resident Evil 2 was the precursor to Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. We know that double-hard Cockney bastards recognise the concept of "nemesis" from Brick Top's excellent speech in Snatch, and thus Resident Evil leads neatly to the Getaway
