Anyone else use Grooveshark?

Basically, you can legally listen to anything in the catalog and it's free. And they seem to have stuff from every major label and even stuff that's hard to get over here.

I still like the idea of owning an album, even if it's just in mp3 format. But this is a nice way to preview music.

I tried Grooveshark and I hated it. Their random feature was absolutely horrible, it couldn't load my music properly or find any good suggestion. The back catalogue was shit and basically it was a stupid program. I'd go with Spotify, honestly, that is much better.

I think I tried Grooveshark years ago and couldn't figure it out at all. Maybe it's better now.

Oh, and I doubt anyone here would do this, but if you actually buy stuff through the site it could be from someone who doesn't have the rights to sell it.

I used to use Grooveshark in college because Spotify was banned. That's pretty much the only reason to use it. It's not horrible but there's a much better alternative.

We use it in class as its the only music website thats not blocked. Usually we find everything we're looking for

I use it all the time, whenever I feel like listening to something without having to download the album I use this.

It got mentioned in Mashable's Websites to Watch in 2011 so I signed up ... couldn't be bothered to actually work out how to use it though. I don't even like Spotify or that other one ... de7 or something.

I don't have much use for it on a day-to-day basis but it's an awesome tool for parties because it's easy for everybody to use and you're not limited to just one person's music collection.

I've used it for over a year now, and use it almost every day.
