You got me pegged, sahyder. If Uggla and his Mendoza line avg were on the Yankees, I would think he was the best in the league. Just like I think Nunez is the best third baseman in baseball.

Pretty much echoing what Damshow said, Thome is a really great ambassador of the sport. He's played the game the right way and has never been accused of taking steroids. He's been one of the most consistent players I've ever watched, since becoming a fan of baseball over 15 years ago.

Absolutely awesome accomplishment by a real class guy.
