It's finally here!

Thirty-four beloved and not-so beloved members on EWB decided a couple of weeks ago to share their top 10 20 albums with everyone. Today, one lovely bastard (hint: me) counted all the votes and is going to present EWB's favorite 30 albums to all of you.

Why 30 you ask? Wait and see, maybe you'll understand why!

People voted for 425 individual records, although some of them should have probably never been made.

Without further ado, here is the list.

OH WAIT!

These five records came close to the Top 30:

Place 35: Dead Boys - Young, Loud And Snotty

(35 points, 2 votes)

Place 31: Frank Turner - Love, Ire & Song

(37 points, 3 votes)

:shifty:.

And of course the album that unfortunately missed the Top 30: The album that actually made the Top 30

Place 30: Green Day - American Idiot

(38 points, 2 votes, one 1st place)

Next Up: The list improves, one of my top two albums, a guy with an awesome voice and something our Indie lovers might enjoy. Stay tuned!

The Dead Boys just missed it? Ah fuck.

I know it was fr34k and I that voted them. I just listened to Young, Loud, and Snotty recently it was as good as ever, it will always be one of my favorite albums.

Oh, and the album scores points for having the typical "We're a punk band in front of a brick wall/in an alley (double points for both in this case)" album cover. :shifty:

The album is awesome and it's a shame no one else voted for it. But then again, there are people voting for American Idiot and Paramore records, so I shouldn't expect too much.

Also, I can't sleep, so you can expect the next five in a few minutes!

Next up: a record our Indie lovers will enjoy (this time it's actually in the next update

:shifty:), something SRN was pretty sure would be #1 or #2 and an album by a band that barely missed the top 30 with something else!

Stop the Nirvana bashing . Let's keep this moving, shall we?

Side Note: I will soon PM a select few of you with an album name (don't worry, it's one you voted for) and will ask you to write a short paragraph or two why you voted for the album etc. I also want you to name three key-tracks from the record, which people should listen to if they want to get a glimpse of the album.

Place 25: Foo Fighters - The Colour and the Shape

(40 points, 3 votes)

Place 25: Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

Next: This must be one of the coolest record names ever, a guy who has his own show, and maybe something featuring demons, souls or whatever.

Foo Fighters are not good, they should have just released a record with all their okay songs and be done with it <_<.

The less said about Green Day the better, although Dookie isn't their worst effort.

Quick question: Am I going too fast with the list or is the speed okay?

I am sad to announce that Open Office fucked me over and that American Idiot actually is in place 30 and I have to adjust the numbers accordingly. Sorry about that :crying:.
