Not really sure why I went to the midnight launch. I stood in the cold for 20 minutes, grabbed the game + dogtags, went home and went to bed >_<

At least with Skyrim, I'll be able to play that all night.

So, any EWBers...Fitzy and myself (and hopefully Rocksta and Eddie) will be playing tonight starting at around 9pm est. If we get enough people, we can try the Private Mode Games (Gun Game, Juggernaut, etc).

Ugh, people tempting me into this. :(

If you loved MW2, it's practically the same, just with new maps, continuing the storyline, etc.

Gameplay feels the same.

It's fantastic.

Yeah, this. Which is a great thing if you liked Modern Warfare 2, terrible if you'd grown bored of it.

Damn you guys and no one getting this on PS3. :(

This. Is. Awesome.

Just played for a bit. Up to level 16. Already got my classes fleshed out to my usuals. Great game. Feels fantastic. I have six hours of double XP saved up. Might also be able to get another 4. Hopefully.

Maps are good. Varied enough to keep it interesting. Levelling weapons works incredibly well and doesn't seem to take long. My Scar is like level 9.

How did you get the Double XP? I've got a few Prestige tokens saved, but I figured those were from previous Prestiges, are they just so you can unlock the Double XP? And yeah, leveling weapons feels great and it's such a better way of unlocking attachments than the previous way. I'd gotten my Scar to Level 19 before I remembered the UMP45 existed.

Also, thank god for Cold Blooded/Assassin. I love this perk, so happy I finally unlocked it. UMP45 + Silencer + Assassin = Awesome. And god damn I love the Support Killstreaks. Ballistic Vests are getting me at least an extra 400 XP every time I throw them down and I usually manage to get them out at least twice a game.

I got given a pre-order pack when I bought it, a code for four hours. I'll get my mate to get me another one, so hence the extra 4. And yeah, the 2 hours is from prestige tokens. I have four tokens. Not used them yet.

You like the UMP? MP5 feels much better so far. Though on MW2 it was all about the UMP when it came to Subs. I can't wait to unlock some better perks, but I'm enjoying it right off the bat. Everytime someone takes a vest you get XP? May be worth unlocking. I'm enjoying the support perks, really nice addition.

On this note, what Xboxers have it already? I'm definitely playing tonight. A bunch of my mates have the game and they'll spend every free minute they have on the game now, but I'm happy to jump on with Team EWB often too.

Fitzy and I! But...you will most likely be asleep when we play :shifty:

Also...prestige tokens?

200 XP for using the Ballistic Vests and 50 XP every time someone other than you picks one up. Usually end up getting about four people taking them and depending on what my other killstreaks are, it's usually possible to end up getting another set fairly quickly. Unless you're going for Juggernaut (which is really boring) or Escort Airdrop. I usually stick with UAV, Ballistic Vests and either Advanced UAV or Stealth Bomber.

And yeah, great fun even without much unlocked. I just need a few more levels for Level 39 and I'll unlock Scavenger and I think I'll be happy with my perks until I need to start getting the XP boosts for the higher levels. Can't wait to try out some of the later level gun unlocks either!

Also, if you've got a Prestige token, I suggest you save one for the Unlock Gear option that becomes available after first Prestige. From what I understand, it lets you create a class with a selection of all weapons unlocked that you can keep with you for your entire Prestige. I think that's the idea anyway.

Level 39 is Scavenger? Damn. I want that big time. It's a big part of my Scar class due to the small amount of ammo you get with it.

I've not used any of my tokens yet. So saving one shouldn't be an issue. I can't even remember what all the options are at the minute. I'll use the double XP at some point. I don't need the extra class yet. I've only set up 4 of the 5, and only regularly use 3 right now.
