Finally got it yesterday and just started an easy game with City to get the hang of all the new features and the new layout. Some really good additions so far, and some that I find slightly annoying but will get used to. Apparently I can't trust my assistant to take care of friendlies well, he lost 4 in a row against shitty teams and it's not like he played a B or C team So I just took over again. Bought Henriksen from Rosenborg, amazing talent. Tried to get Thiago Silva and Sakho, but they were both 50m which is just too much so ended up with the safe option; Chiellini. Gonna get Begovic from Stoke as my second GK.

There's also a beast striker at one of the lower French Ligue 1 teams, 16 years old called Niang. They wanted 20m

Decided that Josh McEachran is getting shipped off to Vitesse after all. Might as well, since I remembered that I've got Essien coming from injury in theory...although if FM were realistic he'd play three games then break himself again.

I guess I'll take a screenshot of his stats before he goes and compare them from when he returns. Never really been able to tell how much any player benefits from a loan in the past.

Finally bought this game the other day. Completed my first season as Stoke manager, finishing 8th and winning Manager of the year. Just about to embark on the 2012/2013 season with my new star striker...Shola Ameobi!

Won a free version of the game through FM Scout, could not be happier.

Started a random game with all the Top Divisions in Europe loaded. Ended up at Fredrikstad, one of the legendary trams on Norway. All was well, 'till the club was bought by a Welsh guy, that did not fire me, and gave me 45 Million € in balance. Thanks random Welsh <3

A few of us tried to get a twitter rumour going on deadline day that Jonny Howson was on the verge of transfer. I like to think that this was caused by twitter pressure, cause why on earth would he want to go to Southampton?

Finished first season with Cardiff in 9th, missing out on playoff's by 7 points in the end.

Sold Kenny Miller in the summer due to being shit and on £25,000 a week! Brought in Frimpong for second season on loan, along with Arsenal team-mates Henri Lansbury and Ryo. Also signed Ross Barkley on loan and brought in Robbie Blake on a free. I've assembled quite a decent squad now, Anthony Gerrard is an absolute beast at centre back.

Started new season brightly, beat Southampton 1-0 at home, and just went to Palace and won 4-1, in between those two games beat Swindon 2-0 in the Carling Cup. Hopefully can push on this season and challenge, but fuck me the Championship is difficult. So many teams on a similar level. Good fun though.

Went down 4-1 at half time to Carlisle (!), I gave my team a solid bollocking and they came out and managed to get it back to 4-4, last minute goal from Charlie Daniels. The 24 game unbeaten record still stands!
