The only reason Toronto would make that trade is a feeling that they're close. And without the injuries of last year they might very well be. But if they aren't close it's a really bad trade.

I can't help but laugh at how poorly run Miami is. "Well, we have things to build around, but fuck it, blow up the whole team and let's aim for a title again in 5 years."

All they wanted was for the taxpayers to build a new stadium for them. The thing that really pisses me off is that all 6 Marlins fans have watched their team win 2 titles in less than 20 years of existence.

One of my best friends, who grew up in Audobon, NJ, is a diehard Marlins fan. It blows my mind every time I talk baseball with him. He's excited about the prospects and the future, for those wondering what a real, live Marlins fan actually thinks of this.

Reyes will get hurt and Johnson's nagging injuries will flare up. They'll both fit right in with Toronto's team identity.
