http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/Breaking_News_Top_WWE_star_leaves_company.html

Word has come out that CM Punk has left WWE, according to sources for the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider.

After being re-written out of the script for Raw, Punk reportedly told Vince McMahon he was going home and that he wasn't coming back. The company responded by pulling him from all of his scheduled WWE dates going forward.

Punk was scheduled to face Triple H at WrestleMania 30, but as we saw on Raw, early signs may have been shown that Triple H will be facing Daniel Bryan at Mania instead. No word if the match change is what caused Punk to leave, or if the match was changed because Punk left. ProWrestling.net reports that Bryan VS HHH is, indeed, the current plan for Mania.

In the past, Punk had been very vocal about "part-time" wrestlers returning to WWE and getting pushed ahead of guys who are there on a nightly basis, and that may be a reason for him being upset. PWInsider says that Punk's final goal for his time with WWE was to main event WrestleMania, and with his current contract expiring in July, and with it becoming more and more apparent that he would not be main eventing Mania this year, his failure to achieve that goal may be a driving force for his departure.

All signs indicate that this is not a work, but we'll pass on any more information as it comes in.

Remove CM Punk from WWE and make him a non-wrestler? I'm 100% sure that he'll not go to TNA and wrestling on the indyz.

He's still until contract until July.

Correct. The best option would be to set him to "sitting out of contract" or whatever the wording is. But is that even possible outside of using arsenic in-game?

That is until they officially let him go, which is very likely considering how they handled the Stone Cold situation in 2002.

Sting should be removed from TNA. Meltzer and PWInsider are reporting that Sting and WWE are in talks while Rob Feinstein, SuperLuchas (Mexico's version of the Wrestling Observer, announced back in 2011 that Mistico has signed with WWE 3 weeks before WWE and other sources) are saying that Sting signed in the last 24 hours.

Big E Langston may not get a huge Ryback like pop but he is over. Plus he maybe too under for the IC title Also Fandando gets a pop mor for the theme rather than a true reaction so I would argue switching their overness.

Bo Dallas is far too over at 67-68. On the main roster he would at most get the same response as Xavier Woods.

Curtis Axel should be at 70 overness.

As I previously mentioned with Hunico, his overness stat shouldn't be lowered (if anything raise it.) I'm not getting into spoilers but we all know the reason...

Jay Bradley was released by TNA.

Ryback I would lower his overness to 70. He is not that over at all.

Sin Cara has reported that he is gone from WWE. I wouldn't tinker too much on overness as he is still somewhat of a name in Mexico and wold be in the main event with CMLL or AAA.

Tito Ortiz is a known name so keep him in the mid 70's

Kris Zellner is reporting Mini Chessman passed away so remove him from the game.

Impact spoilers

-Add Montel Vontavious Porter to TNA as a face Authority Figure.

-Maybe make Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards' gimmicks Bodyguard or Enforcer? (Or maybe just wait to see how they'll be used now that the investor is revealed.)

-Zema Ion now seems to be officially billed as 'DJ Zema.'

-The Bro Mans' tag finisher is 'the Bro Down.'

I would wait on that, the Mistico signing was talked about for some time (I remember talks as early as 2008 with Rey Mysterio pushing for his signing but they went on deaf ears and really got louder throughout 2010 and into 2011.) The Sting "signing" has been rumored about during the last few years dating back to the 2011 erie videos for the Undertaker's return.

The Original Sin Cara has signed contract with a promotion called WWL in Puerto Rico. Delete him from WWE.

That's a promotion I would look to add. They run more in Mexico than PR so I would say the promotion should be based in Mexico

A good number of Puerto Rican talent, luchadores (some from AAA currently and other formerly with) and former WWE guys wrestle there their regular roster includes:

Blue Demon Jr.

Carlito

Cien Caras Jr.

Extreme Tiger

Heddi Karaoui

Hurrican Castillo (the former Jose Castillo)

John Morrison

Laredo Kid

Leon Apolo (the former Apolo)

Miguel Perez Jr.

Mil Mascaras

Monster Pain (the former Black Pain/Sweet Papi Sanchez)

Mr. E (the former Eric Esobar)

Sabu

Savio Vega

Sexy B (the former Bryan)

Sicodelico Jr.

Zumbi

Debuting in March:

Chavo Guerrero (Jr.)

El Hijo del Medico Asesino (the former Benicio Salazar)

Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.

Juventud Guerrera

Peligro

Ricky Marvin

Skayde

In other news, I would add touring commitments for Flamita and Rocky Lobo (if he is added to the game) with Toryumon (Dragon Gate), according to TerceraCaida they are set to return to Japan in February.

Chikara has announced it's return date: May 25th. Since it is back, you may want to add it now, or later. But it is back.

I would wait until the May update to add them back, just so we can reform the roster based on the Aniversario card (the likely show)

One indy wrestler I'd like to see in the next update if possible is "Mr. Athletic" Jeff Cobb. Works for a bunch of Cali promotions such as Gold Rush Pro, APW, PREMIER as well as Lucha Extreme. Gimmick would be Dual Sport Athlete and Finisher is Shooting Star Press. I don't know what his ratings should be but he is pretty over as he's the PREMIER Heavyweight Champion.
