North Shore sounds like Las Vegas set in Hawaii.

As long as The Sketch Show is like the UK version, it won't flop (well, except for the terrible timeslot it is in).

FOX has it's real comedy stronghold on Sunday nights... couldn't really think of a better time for it.

That may be the case, but won't it be pre-empted or joined in progress half the time due to NFL overrun?

One other thing about The Complex (aka The Block). Series two of this just started in Australia, and is being beaten by repeats of nature documentaries! (and American Idol, but just). The network airing the series has went into damage control, and the series is now airing twice a week. Mind you, this is about the fifth or sixth reality show to flop this year.

Depending on when in January they choose to premiere it, they could avoid NFL interruption completely. If I remember correctly FOX doesn't cover Conferences finals or the SuperBowl, so if they do it in mid to late January they can avoid any interuption. What this does is give FOX an entire three hour block of new programing, something I don't believe they've ever had before.

The show I'm most looking forward to, aside from the Return of Family Guy and American Dad, is Listen Up. The show will be on CBS and it's based on Tony Kornheiser. With Jason Alexander as the lead, it should be fantastic.

Hopefully some superb writing can make it a ratings player, but given the choice between The O.C. and Survivor: Vanuatu, I'm going to be missing a lot of OC episodes. I must commend FOX on the other hand for making the effort to further extend this little year long schedule of theirs.

Why not just tape either The O.C. or Survivor: Vanuatu and watch it later? You don't have another TV with a VCR set up anywhere else?

I'll definitely be taping one, I just think I'll be missing a lot of first run episodes. Of course, if CTV continues to show The O.C. on Mondays in Canada that won't make much of a difference, as I'll then be torn between 24 and The O.C.

Actually I distinctly remember an MTV special in which Method Man and Redman moved in with a rich family from New Orleans for a couple of nights. These guys have a great sense of humour and if it pours over into this show, I think it could be great.

CBS Schedule

Didn't see it posted, The new shows I'm looking forward too:

NBC:

None, but I just want to say does another Law & Order do anything? I've never even been a fan of the first one let alone the other 2 and now another one is coming. LOBC is NBC's new name, Law & Order broadcasing Company

ABC:

None, The Benefactor might be ok but it might be pure crap too.

CBS:

Survivor, The Amazing Race

Shows that could be good: Listen Up, Clubhouse, Center of the Universe

Show that should never have been made: CSI: New York. what's next CSI: Minniapolis?

Fox:

American Dad, The Casino, The Sketch Show, Method & Red.

The WB:

DREW CAREY'S GREEN SCREEN IMPROV SHOW, kinda looks a bit like Whose Line which I loved

UPN:

None

As long as the Amazing Race gets picked up in Australia, Troy is happy

Otherwise the networks can all go to fucking hell

I think the series based on Tony Kornheiser will be good, and I was a fan of "Friends so I'll watch it.

Anyone think Malcolm-Jamal Warner will get over the typecasting? He is playing Michael Wilbon in "Listen Up" according to Kornheiser and Wilbon.
