Villa 1-3 QPR

Luck had to run out I guess, controlled most of the game and was a goal up without Baddar barely creating a chance for about 65 minutes and then classic Fifa began (My control was down for the third in the final minute after you started wasting time at the corner flag ). Good game mate, enjoyed the tournament

Aston Villa 1-3 QPR

Well, he was 1-0 up and comfortable until the 70th minute. We both made a double change, and a fortunate bounce allowed Sandro to equalise. Hoilett scored a good goal into the top (can't say corner, keeper probably should have saved it but that's FIFA for you) of the net on the 81st, then Phillips sealed it in injury time when he went all out attack.

Did not expect to come anywhere near to winning this tournament, especially after two draws in my group. Still maintain my group was the strongest overall.

Edit: And I honestly wasn't heading to the corner flag, I'd gone down the wing, tried cutting inside but the advantage logo appeared in the corner as you'd fouled me, so I kept control of the ball and headed straight for the box, leading to the goal.

But I totally do purposely waste time against others online though.

That's the way it goes, in fairness I've had some games where I've clawed out results that I maybe didn't deserve so I've got no room to complain about that final, just the way it swings.

Looking forward to another tournament or whatever you guys go with next.

It seemed you were either defensive or ultra defensive during that 2nd half. You're right, I wasn't creating anything but you're tough to break down. Didn't even expect to score an equaliser.

The build up for Benteke's goal was nice, btw.

Though to be fair I didn't create too much that was massively clear cut. Definitely not a fan of Ajax on this version, too slow up top.

Enjoyed the game though - even if I was cursing my keeper at that first goal!

As TCO and DavidMarrio lost by the same score I used their group stage results as a tiebreaker.

And late comers for future tournaments would rank below Stoker.

Will we be sticking with these teams in the future? I don't mind, although for most of my games, QPR were basically a 3.5* team due to their shit real life performances. Pretty sure before my game with Jericode, his Soton side were a full 4/5 points better off than mine in each area. Stupid Match Day Live.

I'd be happy to stay with CSKA if others are happy to stay with 4 star teams. I'm pretty awful when actually playing with the good teams.

It's definitely the fairest way. Against top teams/players, you can dominate, not score, then be sucker punched by a Robben counter attack.

I know there's pace across the board, but it never feels like the opponent's squad is THAT much better.

The CSKA front two are really quick, as is Tosic on the wing, but the defence having the turning circle of a tank, so it sort of balances out.
