The Dead Weather had a decent album, a nice listen but nothing that I would go back to. "Rocking Horse", "Treat Me Like Your Mother" and "I Cut Like a Buffalo" were the best tracks of the album.

While I somewhat enjoyed the previous Imagine Dragons' album, specially on the singles, this was really dull. The album became a chore to listen to half-way through and I wasn't particularly fond of any tracks.

I felt a lot different about MGMT's debut, has some great songs. I really like "Electric Feel" and songs like "The Handshake", "Weekend Wars", "Future Reflections" and "Kids" are great.

Go Girl Crazy was a great and fun album, worth a listen to definitely. The picks had to be "Next Big Thing", "Back to Africa", "Master Race Rock", "(I Live for) Cars and Girls" and a good cover of "California Sun".

Frank Turner was decent, liked what he was going for although sometimes it didn't work out well like "Glory Hallelujah", a poor track to end the album. "I Am Disappeared", "One Foot Before the Other", "Eulogy" and "If Ever I Stray" are the best things to listen to.

The Darkness' first album makes a lot of people think what could have been with the band. I really enjoyed the album, another fun listen and some good rock music on the whole. "Black Shuck", "Growning On Me", "I Believe in the a Thing Called Love", "Love is Only a Feeling", "Hold My Own" and "Love on the Rocks with No Ice" are great.

Let England Shake does deserve praise, lovely album with the title track, "The Words that Maketh Murder", "Bitter Branches", "England" and "On Battleship Hill" were the picks.

I didn't enjoy the second Dictators album as much but still a good album. "Sleepin' with the TV On", "Disease", "Hey Boys", "Steppin Out", a great cover of "Search and Destroy" are the best songs.

So what I didn't really grasp about this one was that this doesn't really resemble what The Antlers (a band who I mostly know through one song I really dig) would eventually sound like, because this was just when it wasn't a band but just the frontman doing shit. So there's a lot of ambient-ish stuff that doesn't really grab me at all, and part of the latest delay in this project was just my complete and total indifference towards most of this album. What's there to write about? It's indie and kind of anemic. I'm just gonna have to get something more recent, probably. Except!

Shocker, I got the wrestling album! Best Track: "The Ballad of Bull Ramos" is fucking perfect. My knowledge of territory-era wrestling is kind of garbage so I'd literally never heard of Bull Ramos before, but it paints a fantastic portrait of what life after wrestling is like and the kind of people who gravitate to that kind of lifestyle.

I thought that I would hate Ed Sheeran after his overexposure on the radio but the album wasn't actually half bad. There were a couple of good songs like "Bloodstream", "One", "I'm a Mess" and "Afire Love". It was nothing special but not terrible on the whole.

The first half of Cage the Elephant's debut was a lot better than the second half. "In One Ear", "James Brown", "Tiny Little Robots", "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" are the picks. I do prefer the latest Cage the Elephant after this listen.

I thought Run the Jewels 2 was a pretty good album, lot of enjoyable stuff with "Jeopardy", "Blockbuster Night, Pt 1", "Lie, Cheat, Steal", "Early" and "All Due Respect". I don't feel as strongly about it as others on EWB seem to do though.

I really liked the Mountain Goats' album. "The Legend of Chavo Guerrero" was real touching, had catchy stuff in "Foreign Object" and "Choked Out" but "Stabbed to Death Outside San Juan", "Southwestern Territory" and "The Ballad of Bull Ramos" were fantastic. The other stuff was decent, fairly unspectacular but loved the highlights of the album.

I thought Magic Whip was really good, lot of good stuff on the album and not what I had expected at all. I have to echo Benji's thoughts on the album except my pick was the final track "Mirrorball".

The Wombats are just a dull band to me, much closer to pop than indie rock but it's pop without the fun. "Emoticons", "Give Me a Try", "Your Body is a Weapon" and "English Summer" were the picks but a mixed bag on the whole.

Resistance does nothing for me, it opens alright but feels like half an album as the Symphonies do very little. "United States of Eurasia" was the pick.

I didn't think Transcendental Youth to be anything special, not as good as Beat the Champ but that is probably down to the wrestling link. "Amy AKA Spent Gladiator 1", "White Cedar", "Until I am Whole" and "In Memory of Satan" were the best of the album.

Back in the USA was great, a short but rocking album. "Teenage Lust", "Call Me Animal", "Let Me Try", "Shakin' Street" and a cover of "Back in the USA" were great tunes. I'll look at more of their stuff.

So yeah, I'm late to this particular party but my new boss is completely fine with me listening to music while I work (at least he hasn't said anything yet) so I'm going to mercilessly sap my company's bandwidth by listening to as many albums possible on Spotify.
