I did originally plan on doing this, but realised I have the attention span of a fish. I'm proud of you Benji.

I think it would have been a lot easier if I'd included re-listens, because if I'd have done that then I'd probably be in the 1000s, but I set myself a goal of albums I'd never listened to and stuck to it. So yeah, if anyone's going to try this, maybe set like a ratio of new albums rather than full 365, because it doesn't give you time to really appreciate the songs you do enjoy when you're trying to force a new album a day.

Also, totally abuse Christmas albums because that was what allowed me to jump several days ahead

Well, the film thread got a reboot, so I've decided I'm gonna give this a go again. Partly because I drunkenly told Benji I would, partly because I only made it to 5 last time and I'm disappointed in myself, partly because I need encouragement to listen to new stuff! I'm discounting the 50 I listened to last time, so they don't count if I listen to them again, but I've got plenty of CDs and plenty of recommendations to get through anyway so I doubt it'll be an issue.

Anyway, here's how I'm getting on so far:
