  1. Probably. I still have little in terms of expectations for the rest of the season.
  2. I am in shock that the Birds just won this game. Thought for sure that they were about to have ANOTHER 4th Quarter collapse.
  3. I have no faith in the Eagles. To have a shot to win the game, Shady would need to get a lot of carries in the game.... but he'll probably only have 10 carries and Young will throw 65 times.
  4. No need to be a fucking asshole. I was replying to something someone else said. It's great though isn't it? :lmao: Again, only if it leads to Andy Reid's firing. EDIT: Much like how I supported Notre Dame stinking up the place so that Weis would be fired.

  6. His play-calling was God Awful. McCoy was running all over the Cardinals. He gained at least 5 yards everytime he touched the ball... so what do we do when we have a lead? Let's pass!!! It's the same old story. Just take a look at the last four weeks. Washington - 28 carries - WIN Dallas - 30 carries - WIN Chicago - 16 carries - LOSS Arizona - 14 carries - LOSS Give your best player the ball. It's not the most difficult thing to do. Especially when you bench your #1 Receiver because he missed a meeting and was inactive. Does the defense choke and blow all of the 4th quarter leads? Of course. Did Vick suck for yet ANOTHER game? You bet. But as the HEAD COACH of an NFL football team, when you're QB is playing like shit and your top 2 WR's are either A) Inactive, or B) In and out of the game with a shoulder injury, and your RB is running all over the opponent - YOU SHOULD RUN THE BALL. So yes, I will blame Andy Reid. And it has been the same situation since he got here. So until he goes, nothing is going to change, and I want change with this team.
  7. Amen. DREAM TEAM!~ You both suck . However hopefully this finally means Fat Andy is out. Oh please Lord, make this mean Fat Andy is out.
  8. Philip Rivers has thrown 3 TD's through the 1st Quarter..... too bad 2 of them have been to the Packers.
  9. http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20111104&content_id=25915372&vkey=news_phi&c_id=phi Phillies and Jim Thome agree to a 1-year deal. Howard could miss some time with his achillies and as much as I love Jim Thome, he hasn't played a regular 1st Base in a long long time, so I would think that Mayberry would start there at the beginning of the season if Howard had to miss any time? I mean I guess Thome could be an ok short-term stop gap, but he'll most likely be the lefty off the bench. All that being said, I love the fact that he has come back to town. I have always been a Thome fan.
  10. Cubs Fire Mike Quade - http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/7182270/chicago-cubs-release-manager-mike-quade So Theo has fired Quade, as expected, and is looking for a manager to start with a 'clean slate' and take them in a different direction. One person who will not be considered is Ryne Sandberg. HOWEVER, The Phillies have OK'ed Sandberg to talk with The Cardinals for their open position. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/7182684/philadelphia-phillies-give-st-louis-cardinals-ok-talk-ryne-sandberg-source-says Going to be interesting to see who goes where.
  11. Speaking of the Raiders, they have signed former Palmer target, TJ Houshmandzedah. An interesting signing I suppose. Not sure how much he has left.
  12. I seriously want to play Chardee MacDennis right now.
  13. To be fair to Palmer, he's been sitting on the couch watching football for the first 6 weeks of the season (and entire offseason), whereas Boller has been with the team and knows the system and was, hypothetically, in shape. So moral of the story... If you are unprepared and out of shape, you too can play as effective as Kyle Boller!
  14. And the awesome showing in the 1st half by the Vikings has quickly been undone to start the 2nd half. Packers seem in control now.
  15. And Carson Palmer has entered the game!!!!
  16. 3 Passes. He's 1/3. Regardless, still terrible. How long til Pryor or Palmer is in the game?
  17. Oh, I understand North Jersey traffic. The traffic flow is just stupid. Why do I want to go in a gigantic figure 8, just to go straight? And from my point in South Jersey, there is no direct mass transit to the Meadowlands. I would have to drive to Trenton and take 2 trains or drive to Secaucas and take the park and ride. And really, leaving the game via shuttle was probably the quicker option anyway.
  18. So my friend knows someone and hooked me up with Touchdown Club tickets to the game tonight for free. So I made the trek from South Jersey to see a game at the Meadowlands (Any Incarnation Old/New, Metlife), for the first time. I had a really fun time. I must say, the stadium was glorious. It really was a beautiful place. I was really impressed with it. The game was a lot of fun at points. The Fact that the Jets offense was terrible for the majority of the first half, and the Dolphins just shit the bed after the first few minutes of the quarter, really hurt the game. Would have been more fun had the game had more excitement, but it was still a great time regardless. Not really caring who won or lost (as an Eagles fan the game had little impact on anything for me), and getting to see a different teams atmosphere was really neat. Some things I just want to point out about my Meadowlands experience: 1. I still hate North Jersey. It's road system, traffic flow, and drivers are the absolute worst. Seriously, it's so so so retarded. 2. Jets stadium parking is almost as bad as their traffic flow. Really? I have to take a shuttle from an office building's parking lot to get the game (Yes. I did not get a parking pass with the tickets. Though the shuttle system did work rather smoothly. It was just.... ODD)? 3. The New York Jets have some fucking hot ass fans. Hot girls all over the place. Is there something in the water up there? 4. Never draft Shonn Greene in fantasy ever again. Even if people say he's going to have a 'big' year. Seriously, watching him during the game was so painful (Yet he somehow finished with 74 yards, thanks to some garbage carries.) Some Pics from my Phone:
  19. C'mon man, the Phillies weren't supposed to lose ANY games this year. That Halladay guy's a bum. We haven't won ANY championships since he got here, so clearly he's the problem. [/Phillies fan] No... I've been saying that about Raul Ibanez. Haven't won a World Series since he showed up. It's the Pat Burrell curse . But really, the offense was pathetic last night. Victorino was 2-3 and the rest of the lineup went 1-27. And I said it in this thread a few weeks ago that I was worried that our offense would again choke and they did just that. I mean it didn't even look like they put up a fight last night. And thank you Roy Halladay. He gave up 2 bad hits all game and unlucky for him that they came back to back. But he did EVERYTHING he could short of hitting a homerun himself to get the team to the NLCS. I wonder how pissed Roy was in the locker room after the game ended. I think I mentioned it on Sunday, but I hate the majority of other Philly sports fans. They are ignorant and annoy the shit out of me. It's weird really, I can't stand to listen to most of them talk about anything because they don't know what the hell they are talking about. I really don't think I care who wins now. None of the 4 teams really do it for me. Had the Diamondbacks beaten the Brewers, I probably would have rooted for them to win. But I guess it's go Detroit? Should I be pulling for 1 of these 4 teams? Maybe the Brewers? But that's cause I like Prince and Nyjer. Either way I'm not going to be going out of my way to watch baseball the rest of the playoffs. If I happen to have nothing to do I might switch it on. But with half of the games being called by Joe Buck in the LCS, I now don't have to seek out baseball.
  20. Robin Ventura is the new manger of the Chicago White Sox. http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/7068083/chicago-white-sox-name-robin-ventura-manager His first game? April 6th @ Texas. Let's hope for another great Ryan/Ventura Rivalry....

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes... I am FINALLY on Team Mercedes. I have been waiting FOREVER for her to finally snap, and say enough with this Rachel Berry shit. And it happened. I am so happy. I really hope this isnt one of those 3 week things though, where Mercedes says 'oops I was wrong... I'm back!!' That happens every other episode almost. I want this one to stick. It was refreshing to finally see someone call out the coddling of Rachel Berry and make a stand. It helps when she has someone whispering in her ear how great she is, that she finally has the self-confidence to stand up for what she wants. And I really want to see a New Directions vs. Mercedes war. Other thoughts - It seems like Rachel Berry's ME First attitude is finally catching up to her. First Mercedes walks out, then she is gonna run against Kurt? Really? , and now because of that it looked like Finn was uneasy with her at the end of the episode. And my gal Bieste continues to be the highlight of the show for me with such great quotes as: "This is one of the hardest decisions of my life. And that includes when i had to sell one of my prize donkeys to pay my gas bill." "Ballet improves your coordination, it boosts your IQ and it gets half of the NFL on Dancing with the Stars... Booyah!!" "(With a full mouth of pasta) Did you know breadsticks delivers? Awesome."
  23. I am beyond pumped about this. Best news of the day. And I'd totally be down for a rewatch. I watch it almost every day on IFC anyway.
  24. I don't listen to the ESPN station. I don't like any of the DJ's. And I steer away from WIP as well after any sort of loss, because I can't stand listening to most fans. Yes, as a Philly sports fan I hate 60% (that's being conservative) of other Philly sports fans.
