  1. Just wanted to drop in to throw a few more names into the list of emotionally affective anime titles: Jin-Roh Twin Spica Wings Of Honneamise Planetes The Place Promised To Us In Our Early Days (can't be arsed to remember the Japanese name to this one )
  2. Yes, on the search for this type of music. I recently fell in love with both Tilt and Tsunami Bomb, and I now require more. Happy, fast, maybe even somewhat punk-pop material is what I'm looking for. np. Tilt - John For The Working Man
  3. ... I could swear I've seen this exactly same discussion in here before. Like, EXACTLY SAME Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. Emotional anime, I'd recommend "Perfect Blue", a movie from the makers of Paranoia Agent. While in there, go for Paranoia Agent as well
  4. Mindless Self Indulgence HORSE The Band The Locust Ed Gein Poison The Well Between The Buried And Me Dropkick Murphy's
  5. Best of Mindless Self Indulgence: 1. Bring The Pain 2. Shut Me Up 3. Clarissa 4. I Hate Jimmy Page 5. Revenge 6. Rip Off 7. Holy Shit 8. Golden I 9. Harry Truman 10. Alienating Our Audience 11. Tornado 12. Planet Of The Apes 13. Straight To Video 14. Masturbates 15. Brooklyn Hype (Part One) 16. Futures 17. You'll Rebel To Anything
  6. Hairway To Steven remains my eternal favorite, and not only because of the name.
  7. OK, short and simple: I need some recommendations for good mecha anime, as I have an itching for some giant robot mayhem. I am a relative newbie in the genre, as I've only watched Neon Genesis Evangelion and the first Patlabor movie, as well as read some of the Gundam Wing manga. I've heard some good things about The Big O, but more hints would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Dragonforce's new album "Inhuman Rampage" has been getting some rave reviews from the fans, so you might want to go that way. Personally, the only way I'd touch that album would be with a sledgehammer, but you asked for suggestions. By the way, do Skindred even HAVE any other albums besides "Babylon"?
  10. Too many people ignoring the professional madness of Paranoia Agent. Go steal those DVD's and watch, damned! I need more people to discuss this excellence with.
  11. I can only hope that HORSE the Band, Ribspreader and Leng Tch'e keep kicking ass on their respective fronts. Leng Tch'e was a great surprise in the grindcore scene in 2005, and can only grow bigger and stronger. Ribspreader, while not wholly original, marches in the vein of Bloodbath and others in the new rise of more old-school Swedish death metal, unlike the Gothenburg melodying that has dominated the scene for most of the 90's. And HORSE the Band... Seriously, Nintendo-influenced screamo should have an opportunity to crack a niche for itself on the markets.
  12. Couldn't find a topic on this, so... http://www.variety.com/article/VR111793545...4&cs=1&nid=2562

    Last.FM

One thing's a bit unclear for me... How does Last.fm compose the charts for groups such as Emo Warfare Battleground? Do you have to have a certain number of people listen to the same song until it gets counted, or something like that?

    Looking For

Richard Cheese Explosions In The Sky Pelican (heavy rock, yes, but VERY uplifting and mellow. Plus totally instrumental!)
  18. Silent Hill 2 is THE example of a proper soundtrack in a game. It fits perfectly into the game, plus is perfect listening material for outside the game as well.
