  1. There's a can't see the Wood for the Forest joke in there somewhere but I can't quite get to it
  2. And thousands of us missed it because people seemingly were struggling to get in to the kop and the east stand, we were sat below the Cardiff fans in the west but roadworks delayed our coach and then they sectioned off half way down the west stand so we had to run all the way around the stadium. Madness. Defensively we're still worrying but at least we looked good going forward. Let's see how we do against Brentford though.
  3. Luis Suarez, Kiko Casilla and John Terry
  4. You know how it is, you're there being a good, civilised person and then before you can do anything about it you're involuntarily firing out racial slurs left, right and centre.
  5. It's worse than that, he's subjected me to having to watch his brand of football. I could get the same experience by going to watch my nephew play at Diddy Kicks on a Sunday morning.
  6. It was an important point, I needed to make it 5 times
  7. I mean I'm not defending our defenders (pun not intended) because they're not great, but they're not terrible either. We're just tactically fucking awful, we invite so much pressure down the wings because we play so narrow, then when a team cuts inside in the final third if they're not cut out by Adams, it's so easy to draw players out of position and make space. On top of that their confidence is absolutely fucking shot, probably because they know that the tactics make it that they're so easy to walk through. At least under Bielsa the space was largely the because of over commitment (and in the last season because there was a lack of leadership on the field to have the nous to swap men and lack of leadership is still somewhat a problem admittedly). Under Jeremy Kyle the space is there because the tactics are so easy to play against. As for Rutter, yeah, it is our policy in large but also "just get a goalscorer" isn't the answer, Rodrigo is like 5th in the league. What we need in a striker is someone to press from the front and run into the channels when going forward to create space for the other forward players. That's why Bamford was so crucial to our system even when he was out of form. To get someone who can do that, can score goals and is proven will cost more than we can afford even if the 49ers are the ones funding us. If Rutter does press and run into channels effectively and doesn't score a single goal, he'll still be worth it because he'll probably get an extra 15-20 out of the 3 behind him which Rodrigo doesn't. 8. Despite the fact that I'm going to this game, I half hope we lost just to get this fucking moron sacked. What should we be based on Ted, how many inspirational buzzwords you can throw into a press conference? Which team's manager does the best impression of a cheerleader? Just fuck off.
  9. And so Ounahi can wait, it's still not too late for us to go out and buy, before deadline day but we won't loan back to Angers, I heard you say.
  10. Tottenham Hotspur have put out an appeal to the fan who kicked Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale to hand himself in and receive a lifetime ban from the club. So far 887 people have come forward and said it was them
  11. I mean Arsenal have been paying a rapist all season, so I can't say I'm too surprised Edit: Playing him too
  12. 8 and a half year contract. To put that into context, Jimmy will be in his 20s by then.
  13. It's not an offence because the referee decided it wasn't an offence, therefore it's the correct decision. I've yet to see one person explain to me how it's not an offence, Rashford actively chases the ball, is on top of the ball, he slows down as though he's about to do something with the ball. If it wasn't for Rashford doing that, one of the city defenders or Ederson deals with that before Fernandes is near the ball. How the fuck is he not interfering with play? If the logic is simply that he doesn't touch the ball then by that logic you can just have someone stand in front of the keeper going "not touching, can't get mad" for 90 minutes.
  14. I don't know what's more confusing, that Chelsea think another winger-cum-10 is the answer or that some cunt I'd never heard of until last week is going for 100m
  15. You'll have a decent cup run to enjoy at least, assuming you can beat Boreham Wood
  16. Nope, absolutely not interfering with play.
  17. Oh both offside decisions were correct, but both by fractions; we don't need luck going against us. Please sack this fucking cowboy.
  18. Fuck sake. 2 very tight offsides go against us as well. We're fucking wank enough as it is without shit refs and shit luck.
  19. There's nothing enjoyable about this. Well maybe Gnonto.
  20. So you're allowed to have both arms around a striker running into a loose ball in the area, gotcha. It's hard keeping up with these ever changing rules
  21. Romano really is just a tap in merchant now isn't he? Reckon most of his sources have told him to fuck off
