  1. They withheld transfer documents, not registration documents. And fuck, Owen's off.
  2. But his registration is what deserves a point deduction, that in itself was fine.
  3. Which you've just said would mean he shouldn't play? No, his registration itself was fine. He shouldn't have been allowed to register, but in the end he did register, and there's nothing anyone can do about that. EDIT: FUCK! Thought the Blades had scored.
  4. I agree, he shouldn't have been, but like it or not, he was and that's what matters. I'm bored of the argument too. Come on the Blades
  5. No because if he'd have been transferred but not registered then he wouldn't be allowed to play. But he was registered, so he can play. The transfer in itself in no way has anything to do with his ability to play for West Ham. His registration, which is fully legal, does have something to do with that. However his registration came about doesn't matter, the fact was he was registered. If he was incorrectly registered then he shouldn't be allowed to play, but he was and he is. He's a registered West Ham player, thus he can play. In short.
  6. I'm not ignoring it, you're right, he SHOULDN'T have been, but he WAS, and once he was registered, there is no way of going back on that, he's a legal player for West Ham. The transfer which brought him to West Ham was dodgy, but that's in no way connected to Tevez playing for West Ham. If he'd been transferred properly, there'd be no difference in the league table, if he wasn't registered properly, there would (probably be). But like I said, I can't be fucked with this any more.
  7. Fuck it, I can't be fucked with this argument any more because I'm just saying the same thing over and over again in a different way. You have to see the registration of Tevez and the transfer as two seperate things, which TRB & Sum aren't doing.
  8. Oh my god. It isn't legal, that is the point! It IS breaking rules, because the transfer was done hiding important information and paperwok, it was done illegally! And how the fuck can you say the transfer hasn't effected the league? The transfer brought him in - ilegally - he saved West Ham. That's an effect. But not directly. His registration WAS legal, his transfer WASN'T, the transfer (without the registration of Tevez being included) doesn't DIRECTLY affect the league.
  9. ..No it isn't. Yes it is. You can drink alcohol from 12 or something like that as long as it abides by general laws for alcohol and isn't in a pub. If you're under 14 you're not allowed in a pub/bar unless it has a suitable licence. This also includes beer gardens and family rooms. At 14 you can enter a bar or pub but only if the landlord agrees and if you drink soft drinks (this can include low-alcohol beer). If you're 16 or 17 you can buy or be bought beer or cider with a meal. And no, CWB, they weren't punished, fine 5m? That's nothing to them. If this happened in Italy, or if it was Man U or Chelsea, everyone would be up in arms. Fuck it, I can't remember the rules, but you can consume alcohol when you're 12, we had a PSE session the other day on it, so long as it's from a shop (which is what I meant). And YES! TEVEZ!
  10. Come on the Blades! And I agree on the previous management argument being stupid, rules broken is rules broken, regardless of who did it. But the fact is Tevez was registered, like the methods or not, he is a legal West Ham player and is not breaking and has never broken any rules by playing for West Ham. I have to admit, I don't particularly like it, but there is nothing wrong with Tevez playing, it was only the transfer that was breaking the rules, which hasn't directly affected the league.
  11. ..No it isn't. Yes it is. You can drink alcohol from 12 or something like that as long as it abides by general laws for alcohol and isn't in a pub.
  12. HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT HE DID! The offence commited was the transfer, not the registration, how he was registered is academic, that didn't break the rules. The transfer broke the rules and thus they were fined for a dodgy transfer.
  13. But he SHOULD be allowed to play for them. The transfer was dodgy, not his registration, he's a legal player, it was the transfer itself that was illegal. Think of it like this; a 16/17 year old buys some alcohol - that's illegal, the 16/17 year old drinks the alcohol - that's legal. Now replace West Ham with 16/17 year old and alcohol with Tevez, and that's the situation.
  14. But who's to say those would have suceeded? Perhaps barring the first incident none of the attempts would kill him. I don't know... I just don't want the junkie to die.
  15. Yeah, but I was too busy typing all that shit up to see that.
  16. No they don't, because West Ham have a worse goal difference. In summary: West Ham go down if they lose and Wigan win (unless the difference between West Ham's loss and Sheff's loss is 3 or more, i.e. if West Ham lose 2-0, Sheff would have to lose 5-0). Sheff Utd go down if they lose and West Ham pick up anything. If Sheff and West Ham lose, they stay up, barring a 3 goal margin being returned. Wigan go down if they do anything other than win. If they win, they stay up regardless of score. So right now, Sheff are going down, because West Ham are drawing and Wigan are staying up.
  17. Odds on a Fowler hat-trick? Carson isn't playing after all.
  18. So, what does everyone reckon the team of the season is... without using any Man Utd/Chelsea players. Here's mine... Goalkeeper: Jóse Reina (Liverpool) Left Back: Matt Taylor (Portsmouth) Right Back: Steve Finnan (Liverpool) Centre Back: Jamie Carragher (Liverpool) Centre Back: Kolo Toure (Arsenal) Left Midfield: Morten Gamst Pedersen (Blackburn) Right Midfield: Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) ** Centre Midfield: Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) Centre Midfield: Mikel Arteta (Everton) Striker: Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham) Striker: Carlos Tevez (West Ham) ** My mind's blank thinking of a right midfielder compared to Ronaldo
  19. Wigan to go down, as much as Sheff will want the Hammers to go down, they won't risk being relegated themselves and will probably win 3-2.
  20. Doesn't MLS start soon/run through the summer? Clearly, I'll have to start watching MLS, if it does.
  21. Fuck off. That'll just give all the Russian countries a bigger chance of winning, because Russia is double the size of the rest of Europe, thus it's points would make all the other countries votes meaningless.
