  1. But if he didn't see them being rescued then how would he know about the switch?
  2. Liverpool deserved it on the night, AC Milan have probably deserved it over the year. 3/4 semi finalists yet still no British winner, boo-urns to that. 3 minutes was scandalous though, 30 seconds per sub, there were 5 subs (maybe 4, not sure whether Kewell came on at half-time or early in the second half) and 2 goals, that's 3 and a half minutes, then he was pulling the ball back everytime an attacker touched a defender plus all the time Inzaghi wasted. Also, to play less than the "minimum of 3 added minutes" is something I always hate and don't understand.
  3. Who's on the bench for Liverpool? Kewell, Dudek, Crouch, Bellamy... Who else?
  4. Well boo-urns. Liverpool were 10 times the team in that half, but from the second that free kick was given, I could see it going in. Especially seeing as Andy Gray had just said "Pirlo hasn't scored as many as he'd like this year".
  5. Leeds > Ian Moore > Huddersfield (not 100% as to whether it's confirmed but it might as well be)
  6. I guess. Hope we get an answer about why that happens too, 'cos it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Anyone notice that we didn't actually see Desmond's vision this time... unless I missed it... whereas we usually do (or at least I think we do)?
  7. Still don't like anything I'm making... Oh and if you're wondering why are the Kaiser Chiefs the headliners... they're big Leeds fans and come to the ground regularly. Link: http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/3826/leedsbf6.jpg
  8. I heard that too, but what I don't get is why did Charlie have to flip the switch? Surely a helicopter would still come regardless of WHO flipped the switch. We better get some answers next episode too, like, why/how are they "dead". Also (this is just a guess)
  9. I didn't spoil anything If it'll make you happy, I'll put it in tags, but I never said because I don't know if he does or not.
  10. I demand a huge swerve where (not actually a spoiler, but Venom seems to think it is) If that doesn't happen I may cry.
  11. Paint. In all seriousness, I think there's something called GIMP if you'll pardon the name.
  12. So you reckon he'll drop his most consistent player who can cross better than anyone on the team and is one of the top passers of the ball, not to mention he can score a shitload of goals. I'd ignore the new striker part and United's side will look like this. -------------Van Der Sar----------- Neville---Ferdinand---Vidic---Evra -------------------------------------- --------Carrick------Hargreaves--- ---------------Scholes--------------- Ronaldo-----------------------Giggs ---------------Rooney--------------- Or something like that any way. Not sure whether it'll work though, as it'll leave the midfield rather weak. Either that or we'll see... -----------------Van Der Sar-------------- Neville-----Ferdinand-----Vidic-----Evra --------------------------------------------- -Ronaldo-Scholes-Carrick-Hargreaves- -------------------------Giggs------------- ---------------Rooney--------------------- Not entirely sure which of Scholes/Carrick/Hargreaves will play left side, I imagine Carrick, seeing as they've paid so much money for Hargreaves as a central midfielder, but you never know.
  13. I tried so damn hard not to read them... but knowing that I can find out draws me too much. I read the first paragraph, realised that it'd be so much more cool if I saw it on TV and clicked out of the thread. There's not much wrong with knowing what happens anyway, look at Star Wars, episode 3 was great, despite everyone knowing how it was going to end.
  14. Because otherwise chances are Wigan will be scrapping for their lives again, if they do play like they did this season and with a similar squad. Alright, first team management then, no need to get so damn picky, you know what I mean, you're just picking my words apart for the sake of it.
  15. He was Jewell's assistant at Wigan.. how is that 'out of work'? I meant as a manager, though I didn't actually know that. Forgive me for not being up on who every asst. manager is.
  16. Clearly I should pay more attention. A look at his wikipedia says he succeeded Jewell at Bradford too... Way to look bush league Wigan, go and appoint someone who's been out of work for 7 years who's record is 7 wins, 4 draws and 12 defeats... Lost Soul: I'd have gone with Souness if I was chairman of Wigan, as for Pat Rice, I see Northern Ireland going for someone fresh to management but connected with the Northern Ireland team, it wouldn't surprise me if he left Arsenal to manage Northern Ireland.
  17. I don't want Big Sam to get the Newcastle job, I'm sure he could do better with a different club, then again, there aren't too many decent clubs going around who don't have managers who they could want replacing. I reckon manager swaps will go something like this: Newcastle - Big Sam Man City - Sven Wigan - Graeme Souness Northern Ireland - Pat Rice Roeder, Jewell, Coleman and Pearce to either drop to Championship or wait for someone else to get the sack.
  18. Hopefully Wigan will play like they did last year rather than this year, next year. No Yorkshire teams in the Premier League once again, it seems. Can we take 'Boro back as a Yorkshire side?
  19. Ah, Fowler must be pretty gutted right now. Taken off for a standing ovation, and then there's a penalty he could've taken.
  20. Who's in the UEFA Cup spots as it stands?
  21. Which is why I said "doesn't sound too good". As opposed to "is complete shit".
  22. Why's that, then? From what I'm hearing, he's been really shaky, and letting in 2 goals vs. Charlton isn't too good, regardless.
  23. So Liverpool back down? This reserve goalie doesn't sound too good.
  24. Indeed, but they weren't registration documents. How the registration was done is a different issue, he can play because he was registered, and thus they shouldn't be docked points. Only fined for an illegal transfer, and a huge fine because of the severity. Now, I'm bored of you. So this time, I'm not going to reply whatsoever. Probably. EDIT: Yes, Pesci, I am stopping now.
