  1. This is very sad. I always liked him as an actor.
  2. Spoiler: Click here to viewLily lived. Or I should say we never see her die. And since Rob doesn't see her die then he assumes she's alive. And there's only one monster. Abrams and Reeves confirmed this.

The Elvis part is good too. The "Dark period" montage is hilarious. I don't know the whole movie is really funny, your friend was probably just expecting Superbad 2.
  4. Well let's put it this way. It's a dome stadium so weather will not be an issue which means The Patriots can go back to a solely passing attack which we know The Giants are weak against. The only way the Giants are winning this game is if they outscore The Patriots which I just don't see happening, especially in perfect conditions like those that will exist. Final Score 35-17
  5. Fantastic movie. Couple of scenes I nearly jumped out of my chair. Saw a couple scenes from places I remember walking by when i lived in NYC which was sweet. Also I saw the thing splash the water at the end. Looked really big. Also, we stayed until after the credits and you her a whisper, my friend who's been all over the message boards found out its a backmasked message that says "It's still alive!". SEQUEL!
  6. You are so funny Be, how'd you get to be so funny?

  8. I didn't like Kingdom of Heaven when I saw it in the theaters. but then I got to see Ridley Scott's Director's Cut and loved it. You think after Blade Runner they'd realize giving him final cut usually works out for the better but apparently not. The 3 hour Kingdom of Heaven was Best Picture material.
  9. I've been hoping for a Packers/Patriots Super Bowl since the middle of the year. Hope it happens.
  10. I'm gonna hold strong on Southland Tales. I loved this movie so much. I've read the comics so I knew what was happening but even then just the way the movie looks and the way it moves. Something about it was just so hypnotic that I don't care if it made sense or not, I just want to keep watching. And I don't consider a movie just not doing well at the Box Office meaning that it's not a misunderstood masterpiece. When you look at Blade Runner that was a movie most critics hated. Same with 2001. That I think is what makes a misunderstood masterpeice, if the Box office is bad the critics don't like it but then 20 years later it's recognized as a masterpiece.
  11. I just passed Drums Ride The Lightning on Expert! Woo! My leg hurts like hell but it was worth it.
  12. Just now watched "The Black Book" 9/10 I wasn't expecting too much from the guy who brought us "Showgirls" but then again I do love Basic Instinct and it had a whole bunch of film festival awards on the cover so I rented it. Wow, great movie. I was expecting something a little more raunchy based on the film critic quotes but it's actually a really really good suspense movie. Wish I would have caught this in the theaters.
  13. I actually agree. I think if Brett Farve can't play up to his best games this season, The Packers will get beat by Seattle. Although I think The Packers have a much better run game then Seattle does at the moment.
