  1. Did anyone else like the scene where Harrison Ford says "I got a bad feeling about this"?
  2. It's not that it was any less believable then faces melting off or hearts being ripped out. Just seemed like a plot from a different movie series thats all. Perhaps like I said it was just that the acting was so bad it didn't see me on the whole thing. Maybe I had too high expectations, but then again this movie has been in development for so long why would I have high expectations that they were holding off until everything was perfect.
  3. I thought the action set pieces were great. The car chase in the jungle with everyone jumping from car to car was fantastic, except for the freakin' monkey's. WTF was that? How'd that get by all those creative people as being anything but very very dumb. That being said I thought the acting was horrible. If you watch the original trilogy the acting made all that was going on believable. I'm not sure if it was ecause all of the green screen used or what but everyone just felt like they were going through the motions. Speaking of green screen, I thought there was way too much of it and really took you out of the movie when it happened. I was shocked how bad the CG looked too. The scene where Shia is standing between the two cars and we see his face (not the back angle which looked like it was done for real with a stunt person), the green screen was horrible in that scene! And I know Sci-Fi is as much a part of serials Indiana Jones is paying homage too as anything else but I just didn't like it. If maybe the other three movies had put in some kind of sci-fi subplot it would have fit in more but it just felt so completely un-Indiana Jones like. So I was a bit disappointed, I felt they sort of took me out of the movie with all the green screen and the bad acting. But it was still nice to see one more Indiana Jones movie.
  4. If they make him a bit younger I could see a John Cusack playing him. I really could care less, just keep Nicholas Cage away from it.
  5. I still just don't buy Frasier being that dude's father. Also, I think it's really hard to replace a character for a third movie. I think they probably should have just left the Eve character out entirely, maybe even say she was killed in between the time of the two movies. Looks okay to me but I probably will only see it if I'm bored on a weekend and there's nothing else to see.
  6. Looks a little like Peter, but then again could just be a new character we haven't met yet who looks like that.

None of those movies were horrible. A little bad acting, some worthless, not needed scenes, but if these movies are on cable, it's not a bad watch. (I only caught 1/2 of the condemned) See No Evil: Your generic horror film of the 20th century. Compare it to most horror films that were released in the last 8 years, it's not anywhere near the bottom of the list. The Marine: Not a movie you'll want to watch over and over, but if you take out the 500000billion explosions, it's not horrible. Who's that fat guy in Superbad? I don't know if he's in Knocked up as well, but he's pretty much every new comedy being released, or released recently. (He's in that Saving Sarah one coming out) Anyway, everything about him annoys me; The acting, his face, the way he delivers his lines, the sound of his voice - ALL ANNOYING! Know what I find annoying? People who complain about things without actually knowing what they are talking about. You don't understand the big deal about Ellen Page, but you haven't seen Juno, the movie which made her a big deal. And you can't even bother to Google search to find Jonah Hill's name, or the correct name of the movie out now, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. And you complain about his acting but the only thing making The Marine from being "not horrible" was the amount of explosions?

I thought it was a fantastic movie and some of the most quotable lines this side of Superbad. But I guess to each their own.
  12. I've played poker with him and shot the shit about movies and Marvel.
  13. I think I'd put Ben in front of Palmer based on last year's performance alone but before that then Palmer would be a lock for third.
  14. When did they make money in Fight Club? Why not just post a synopsis off like IMDb or Amazon?

  17. I loved the ending the first time I saw it and still do. It's so anti-hollywood, I love it.
