Sucks The Patriots defense is as bad as it is. If I didn't like Drew Brees as much as I do I would be more upset but really, I want both The Colts and The Saints to go undefeated just to laugh and laugh at Mercury Morris.

I think I've figured it out. The Bronco's can only win when they've been written off. It took a 6 game win streak before people started thinking they were the real deal. Then, they lose 4 in a row and people say they have peaked. At that point they go out and demolish the Giants tonight. So if you are a Bronco's fan, going forward make sure you keep saying how the Bronco's are overrated. (Y)
  3. Iron Man 2 Harry Potter & The Deathly Hollows The Book of Eli A Couple of Dicks Robin Hood Inception And I hate hate Megan Fox so I will wait until I see a trailer for Jonah Hex before I decide if I really wanna see it.
  4. But I'm still young at heart. :)

  5. Kenneth Branagh's version of Hamlet 5/5 Best Hamlet movie adaptation I've seen, and I've seen them all at this point. Right up there with Titus for me in terms of Shakespeare adaptations. It was subtitled. It's the version on Netflix.
  6. Let The Right One In: 5/5 I finally got to see it on Netflix, loved it. Made me cry at a few points.

And it's a horrible play call given their position on the field. If you're scared you can't stop Manning on a 60+ yard drive, why would you be any less scared at the possibility of giving it back to him with 28 yards to go? The reason it's dumb is because of where he made the play call, not the idea of trusting his offense more than his defense. Seems like we are going in circles here. In my opinion, I don't think the Patriots defense could have stopped The Colts from marching down from anywhere on the field. I think he put more faith into his offense to pick up the three yards. If he felt his defense couldn't stop them from scoring from say the 60 yards out, I don't think he was expecting them to get the stop at the 20. And again, I felt that had they simply let Addai run into the end zone with a minute something left, the Patriots would have gotten the ball back with one timeout, more then enough time to possibly get in field goal range.

You said you understood the reasoning behind it, the reasoning being he didn't believe his offense could stop the Colts no matter where they were on the field. You have Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Randy Moss and three yards to go. He took a chance and it almost worked. Again I think the defense screwed up by stopping Addai on the one yard line and would have given them over a minute to get a field goal. He wasn't trying to prove he was a genius since apparently everyone thinks it was a dumb move. He probably talked with Tom Brady and Brady probably assured him they would get it. He had more faith in his offense then his defense at the end of the game, it's that simple.

Sorry but no. Bad play calling did lose you the game because that was a horrendous play call, regardless of Manning's ability or not. You don't give any QB, much less Peyton Manning of all people, the ball back within the 30 yard line. I understand the reasoning behind the play call but that doesn't make it any less dumb. If you understand the reasoning behind why is it still dumb? It's dumb because it didn't work because the offense couldn't get three yards.

In hindsight he should have punted it but the way the defense played at the end I can't blame him. He probably had more faith in his offense getting three yards then his defense stopping Manning. If they pick up the first down it's genius, if they don't everyone says it was a bad call. I think he just wanted to end the game then and there. I was kind of pissed they didn't just let Addai run it into the endzone at the end there. That would have given the Patriots a minute something and one timeout to get in field goal range. Instead, the stopped them at the one and let the Colts run the clock down. That was the shitty play if you ask me. (N) Piss poor offense and defense at the end of the game lost it for us, not bad play calling.
  11. 2012 1/5 Should have been called "The John Cusack Running From Crap Film". After about the third scene of an airplane taking off as the runway below it crumbles, you start to realize this movie is the same scene over and over again in a different location. I'd give it a zero but the special effects were mostly good and the scene with Yellowstone exploding was pretty amazing. But other then that this movie was garbage.
  12. Jack Nicholson and Robert DeNiro I'd love to see them as rival Mob Bosses or something like that.
  13. Firefly will always be a favorite of mine but for sheer epic scale, the new BSG will always be number 1 in my book.
  14. "Good Girls Go Bad" by Cobra Starship Everything about this song is cheesy, the lyrics, the melody, especially the beat. But hell if I can't help dancing when it comes on.
  15. Playing this game made me realize I am terrible at it. It was a rather alarming revelation.
  16. Looks okay to me. Jake is of course gorgeous in it but I didn't find the special effects all that amazing. However, for a video game movie this probably has as good as chance as any as being the best one ever.
  17. Hey you. I know I posted last time and then vanished again but this time I promise I won't. Missed you guys, at least you guys who are still around.

    Friday The 13th

Just got back from a early showing. It was just okay, nothing special. I did like the first 10 minutes or so but the movie just starts to drag along after that.
  20. Well at least I'm not the only one who thinks so.
  21. I believe it was because the Steelers player had knocked the ball loose already prior to his arm going forward.
  22. Another prime example of Cardinals football.
  23. What do you got against Benjamin Button besides it's praise? And as much as I liked Gran Torino, Clint Eastwood's acting in it was really not much of a stretch for him. And just because it maybe his last starring role why does that make him deserve a nomination over other actors? How are the Oscar's biased against Mickey Rourke? And a couple of actors/actresses won Golden Globes who didn't show up, why and how would they keep him from winning?
